What a rare spotless jewel here in Sarasota! We truly know storage, how to analyze-find quality…read morestorage for we had storage outside Boston 4 years, fifteen years ago and South of Minneapolis in Burnsville, Mn for 18 years/ just moved all 6000 cu ft to St Michael north of Minneapolis end May. Joe's family has owned this property for 22 years. Family owned storage facilities are the VERY best especially if professionally impeccably run like Sawyer. I rented from Public storage until this year in Minnesota - - they raised my rent 50 % in May to $1500 a month for 2 thirty foot deep temp controlled units after being a loyal customer for 18 years!!! 4 years ago the top middle and local management throughout Public Storage that had worked for years, suddenly ALL quit in 2-3 months, and then rental rates sky rocketed each year. This is happening nationally with all giant corporate storage companies! I now will ONLY use top quality local regional family owned storage companies. This facility originally was an ice skating rink then a post office. They retrofitted it into a spotless, perfectly lit, very very well air conditioned/ fully temperature controlled medium sized facility. The front door slim door mounted security key pad is very easy to use. We have been coming to Sarasota visiting in-laws for 35 years and never knew this building and street existed. It is very nicely tucked away hidden off two quiet small roads. Security outside and inside are excellent and someone is in the office/ facility daily 9-5, saturdays 9-12. I feel 100 % secure here coming solo ( over age 70). Location is excellent if you live in Osprey, Sarasota, Siesta Key, Downtown Sarasota and worth the drive if you live in Longboat Key. Enjoy!

I went there all hours and always felt safe. Great value compared to some other places I called around town too!!

Living in 8 states - I've come to terms with the pros and cons of self storage as it relates to my…read morelifestyle. But even not being one that lives this way one can't not notice the rows and rows of single story (most common outside of cities) drive up access to aluminum roll up doors, metal walls and concrete floors only distinguishable by numbers or a lock. (That's why I only buy red locks) I think and wonder about the doors, what's behind them? Treasures or the death of the American Dream? I'm not here to pontificate along those speculative lines, just merely passing along a slice of random thought. Calling around to five self storage locations, I received quotes I found to be higher than I've ever paid for a smaller space in many states I've rented within. Now in Parrish FL since December, I've seen new communities spring up overnight as if they were dropped from outer space, it happens just that fast. So I ventured a bit out of this hotbed of building - looking in the local papers as the internet searches, a Craigslist advertisment caught my eye. Called, made an appointment, drive on over and signed up on the spot. The affore mentioned businesses were charging $100 plus two additional fees for a 5x5 totally around $120.00 a month. At All You Can Store, I got a 5x10 for $79.00. it's not 24 hours but I don't need that option and it's functional appropriate, never busy with other customers. A husband and wife team that were so friendly to me, they made my transaction a success and I highly recommend them.
