Love the fact that they are located in a central location in Fell's Point and parking is not usually an issue for me. Aside from that I have a few of their different bags and am looking into getting the new beanies they have in shop. They look pretty comfortable and will hopefully protect me from this "bomb cyclone" situation we have going on right now. If you want to see some of their custom series they've had artists in the city design pop into the store because they are super impressive. I'm revising my review down to two stars. Everything else above is still true but my overall experience went down the toilet. 1. I bought two bags and gave one to someone as a gift. Two transactions. 2. Didn't receive receipt via email for the gifted bag. Tried to exchange the gifted bag. Denied because I didn't have a receipt. 3. So....I send a photo of the bag, a photocopy of the credit card statement showing both purchases via email, instagram, facebook. 4. A few emails are exchanged with the merchandise manager "Micah" who says "I'll personally see that the situation is rectified." See photo. 5. 2 months later, 10 calls to a full voicemail and 10 emails later no response. Its very unfortunate that this great product has unresponsive and borderline incompetent customer service.

Thank you Seleh for doing such an incredible job altering my wedding dress! Seleh completed a…read morecomplicated alteration that involved removing mesh covering most of the top half of the dress. Before undertaking the work, Seleh ran through some of the considerations, including the fact that the mesh provided structural support that he would need to compensate for around the straps. He finished the dress on time and the removed mesh looked flawless. He completed a second round of alterations after my first fitting. Then, a week or two after I took the dress home (and nine days before my wedding), I panicked about the fit of the bodice and the straps and left a slightly frantic voicemail for Seleh. To his immense credit, he called me back in ten minutes to calmly and gently ask me what was wrong and how he could fix it. He didn't make me feel crazy or unreasonable and made a quick appointment for me a couple of days later. He turned around this last round of alterations in a couple days -- a complex addition of fabric under the dress straps to reduce itchiness and some alterations to the bodice -- and the dress was perfect after that. His work on the straps was particularly impressive because the added fabric was completely invisible despite the fact that the straps were irregularly shaped, ornate, and lace. All in all, Seleh gets top marks for skill, timeliness, and emotional sensitivity (all a must when altering wedding dresses). Thank you again, Seleh!

I needed these shoes for a wedding I was attending. I dropped the shoes off on Monday and they were promised to me by Friday. The repair was for my high heel shoes that needed a replacement heel cap as they were old and needed to be refreshed. The repair was super reasonable and affordable. It was 20 bucks. The gentleman that took my shoes for repair didn't seem all too friendly but he definitely made me feel like my shoes would be repaired correctly. I picked up my shoes on Friday and They were perfect! I was wedding ready!

I love this place! They're incredibly helpful and usually have what I need. I spent hours here…read morepicking their brains when I got my bike this spring. I tried on tons of helmets and got great guidance on how to size. The staff is all very knowledgable and helpful and prices are competitive. My main complaint is that they go heavy on their private label and don't stick as much variety as I'd like in some categories. What it comes down to for me are the personal touches. The staff is just so friendly and eager to help. I never feel stupid or silly asking newbie questions like I do at other local shops. Also, since there is so much out there in the bike world, I'd call first to make sure they have what you want, especially if you have a drive to get to the shop. Unless you're going for clothes or helmets. They have a great selection of both. More niche and bike-specific gear might be a good idea to call ahead for. They'll also order things if you need!
