Love the fact that they are located in a central location in Fell's Point and parking is not usually an issue for me. Aside from that I have a few of their different bags and am looking into getting the new beanies they have in shop. They look pretty comfortable and will hopefully protect me from this "bomb cyclone" situation we have going on right now. If you want to see some of their custom series they've had artists in the city design pop into the store because they are super impressive. You can see a few of them in the photos I uploaded not too long ago!

I'm revising my review down to two stars. Everything else above is still true but my overall experience went down the toilet. 1. I bought two bags and gave one to someone as a gift. Two transactions. 2. Didn't receive receipt via email for the gifted bag. Tried to exchange the gifted bag. Denied because I didn't have a receipt. 3. So....I send a photo of the bag, a photocopy of the credit card statement showing both purchases via email, instagram, facebook. 4. A few emails are exchanged with the merchandise manager "Micah" who says "I'll personally see that the situation is rectified." See photo. 5. 2 months later, 10 calls to a full voicemail and 10 emails later no response. Its very unfortunate that this great product has unresponsive and borderline incompetent customer service.

Thank you Seleh for doing such an incredible job altering my wedding dress! Seleh completed a…read morecomplicated alteration that involved removing mesh covering most of the top half of the dress. Before undertaking the work, Seleh ran through some of the considerations, including the fact that the mesh provided structural support that he would need to compensate for around the straps. He finished the dress on time and the removed mesh looked flawless. He completed a second round of alterations after my first fitting. Then, a week or two after I took the dress home (and nine days before my wedding), I panicked about the fit of the bodice and the straps and left a slightly frantic voicemail for Seleh. To his immense credit, he called me back in ten minutes to calmly and gently ask me what was wrong and how he could fix it. He didn't make me feel crazy or unreasonable and made a quick appointment for me a couple of days later. He turned around this last round of alterations in a couple days -- a complex addition of fabric under the dress straps to reduce itchiness and some alterations to the bodice -- and the dress was perfect after that. His work on the straps was particularly impressive because the added fabric was completely invisible despite the fact that the straps were irregularly shaped, ornate, and lace. All in all, Seleh gets top marks for skill, timeliness, and emotional sensitivity (all a must when altering wedding dresses). Thank you again, Seleh!

Selection is pretty solid as they have stuff that other stores which supply leather goods don't have. Very useful for projects. Last time I was here this wasn't the case anymore. Thankfully...

The LV store in Towson was unable to replace the straps with longer ones. Luckily, a fellow shopper recommended Stefan's. They had perfectly matching vachetta leather, and went above and beyond to match the gold stud fasteners, even ordering new ones. The results was absolutely beautiful, and well worth the wait (it took a while for the new studs to arrive). I've returned for other repairs (leather tag replacement on a bag, shoe stretching) and I won't go anywhere else. They are friendly, kind, knowledgeable, helpful, and do great work.

AVOID AVOID AVOID this place at all cost!! Unskilled, unprofessional, unethical and extremely…read moreunderhanded are perfect adjectives to describe this "business". Please note, after more in depth research, all the positive reviews and glowing news articles you may see about this business, that the current owners try to bring up and falsely stand on, were earned by the man who founded this business NOT the current people running it. They should be ashamed the way they are tarnishing that man's reputation & craftsmanship. I'm not even sure the current owner's are trained in what they're doing. My husband dropped food on my rust colored leather designer handbag and took initiative to get it cleaned himself. He saw this business as he was driving by. I was unaware he was taking it here & would NOT have chosen this place. What started out as a repair/request to remove 2 oil stains on the top of a leather handbag, turned into this business deciding (without consent) to treat the entire bag with a chemical solutions that not only unevenly changed the leather darker, but changed the texture, added new stains and scratches on the bag, and left a thick, greasy coating all over it that gets all over my hands when touching it. The business owner's responses to my complaints were... 1. the chemical application applied to the entire bag was leather conditioner and was "standard practice" to make the rest of the bag blend in with the stained areas (HUH?); 2. But he also denied the bag was darker (despite his previous statement & being shown clear before photos); 3. Insisted the scratches and stains I pointed out were already there before he received the bag but thankfully I had photos of the bag before he damaged it. This business refused to provide any type of remedy or compensation for the damage they caused to my handbag. I am currently pursuing every avenue available to me as a consumer to be sure they don't get away with this. I'm not letting this go and they should not advertise as a "leather cleaning/repair" shop when clearly they have no idea what they're doing and refuse to stand behind their work. What I found most infuriating and left me questioning the integrity of this business were the gaslighting tactics, word play and underhanded methods the owner tried to pull to get out of accepting responsibility for the damage. For example...He offered to refund the $55 cleaning fee we paid, but only if I consented to him recording me with his phone while he asked me questions about the handbag and its history. It was utterly ridiculous because we were speaking and doing business in public in the front of his store, so legally speaking, there were no expectations of privacy with other customers doing business around us as well as employees being there. He didn't need my consent (and I didn't need his to record the entire interaction either). This was completely unnecessary and did nothing but further frustrate me as an unsatisfied customer and escalate the situation. He also kept asking and trying to get me to show him specific "before photos" of the handbag. Basically trying to see if the photos I had clearly showed the areas of the handbag that he knew he had damaged. I refused to show him anything further at that point after realizing what he was trying to do, so then he resorted to saying my husband put the scratches on the handbag right there in front of him when he picked it up off their counter. Just grasping at straws trying to avoid accountability. The most low down, dirty tricks a business could resort to in order to avoid accountability. If you value your belongings don't patronize this business.
