Aside from the plentiful sports memorabilia, Robbie's offers other services as a Postal USA unit. Copies, and, most importantly to me, notary services. I know I can run to my bank for notary services, but, Robbie's is also close to home and Robbie, his son and the crew are top shelf people. Mr. Robbie and I have talked cars as he once sold them as my late dad. I've entrusted notary services to Robbie's ever since I've had the need years ago. And, although quality of service and value are most important in picking businesses I partner with, Robbie's is also black-owned and operated as I know some on this platform like to know that stuff. First, they are supposed to be UPS site. I got a notice to pick up from there. Saturday, arrived at 4:20 p and they are closed. Sunday, closed all day. How are they a UPS site? There is a UPS store across the street that does have weekend hours. Why wasnt my package taken there!! How do they even have UPS?? read more

I was in Baltimore County for the holidays and thought to check out any local hobby shops. Slim pickings. But Robbie's wasn't far, so I ducked in on New Year's morning. I called ahead and Robbie said open till noon. I said I'd be right there. It was a date. Robbie's looks to be a shipping and postal store with a sports hobby shop that has grown up around it. Or perhaps vice versa. Either way, very smart to diversify. I got the sense that Robbie is a veteran, given the way he carries himself (and his Veteran tshirt). You can tell you're in capable hands. I have a soft spot for Baltimore teams, given my getting acquainted with the area due to my wife's family living in Towson and her being born in Baltimore. The cross-pollination of talent between my hometown and hers is neat (Babe Ruth, Edgar Allan Poe, F Scott Fitzgerald). Robbie's is a treasure trove of Baltimore sports talent and history. There are newly released trading cards and the other ephemera you'd expect from a sports hobby shop but the collection of past and present Orioles, Ravens, etc. memorabilia and signed items is really extraordinary. Robbies First Base is one of my favorite stores, period. As a collector, authenticity and trust are the most important factors I consider prior to making investments. I never hesitate to shop for my memorabilia at Robbies First Base, as I am certain that I am acquiring a quality product from a trustworthy source. I have had some really great experiences in the store, including having an item signed by a local sports personality who happened to be in the store when I went in. Many of the items on the walls are jaw dropping. For a long time a baseball jersey with several members of the 500HR club was there. Robbie's got a great eye for all kinds of sports memorabilia, and it's worth a trip just to see what new stuff he's brought in! My father wanted to send a care package to my 5 year old daughter with gifts from the whole family. The man handling deliveries typed in the completely wrong address even though my father had typed up a label with the correct address which was also on the box. They never double checked, so the package ended up being misdelivered through no fault of my father. It's been almost two weeks and we never got our package. They have literally done nothing to help and took no responsiblity. As someone who grew up in Lutherville, I am disappointed to see this lack of care and professionalism from a local business. I really feel our community is better than that. My family is devastated that my baby girl will not be getting her gifts. read more

The older woman is beyond ignorant and acts as if you giving them bussiness is a hastle to her. Asking politely for help to then have you let out your breath and have to get up from your chair acting like a jerk, so i can ship my package. I would suggest not allowing her to have interaction with customers beyond bad for bussiness.
