Aside from the plentiful sports memorabilia, Robbie's offers other services as a Postal USA unit. Copies, and, most importantly to me, notary services. I know I can run to my bank for notary services, but, Robbie's is also close to home and Robbie, his son and the crew are top shelf people. Mr. Robbie and I have talked cars as he once sold them as my late dad. I've entrusted notary services to Robbie's ever since I've had the need years ago. And, although quality of service and value are most important in picking businesses I partner with, Robbie's is also black-owned and operated as I know some on this platform like to know that stuff. They're quick and efficient once you're beyond the requirements of dealing with notary minutiae. Recommend. read more

I was in Baltimore County for the holidays and thought to check out any local hobby shops. Slim pickings. But Robbie's wasn't far, so I ducked in on New Year's morning. I called ahead and Robbie said open till noon. I said I'd be right there. It was a date. Robbie's looks to be a shipping and postal store with a sports hobby shop that has grown up around it. Or perhaps vice versa. Either way, very smart to diversify. I got the sense that Robbie is a veteran, given the way he carries himself (and his Veteran tshirt). You can tell you're in capable hands. I have a soft spot for Baltimore teams, given my getting acquainted with the area due to my wife's family living in Towson and her being born in Baltimore. The cross-pollination of talent between my hometown and hers is neat (Babe Ruth, Edgar Allan Poe, F Scott Fitzgerald). Robbie's is a treasure trove of Baltimore sports talent and history. There are newly released trading cards and the other ephemera you'd expect from a sports hobby shop but the collection of past and present Orioles, Ravens, etc. memorabilia and signed items is really extraordinary. This spot is definitely worth a walkthrough, it's a terrific store to have in the neighborhood and I can tell from the other reviews provides exceptional mailing services to the community. read more

Man o man, where to I start? This shop rocks! I've been using them for years. Robbie and his family and crew are amazing. Although I only spend a few weeks or a month in Maryland each year, they always remember me when I arrive and bend over backwards to ensure my packages arrive as quickly and as reasonably as possible! Highly recommend!!!!! read more

Robbie said he would look at several hundred tobacco baseball cards if I brought them in. Took them to store. Robbie's father blew me off. Could have told me he wasn't interested. Wouldn't let me see Robbie, who he said was on site. Rude. Won't be back. read more

For the last decade or so I have been a working with the team at Robbies First Base. Over the course of time they have helped me raise thousands of dollars for various charities through their sports memorabilia consignment silent auction program, helped me identify unique corporate gifts and employee incentives, provided custom framing services, sell hockey cards to my son, and they even serve as my local FedEx drop off location. Beyond their capabilities, the atmosphere at Robbies resembles a barber shop or the neighborhood corner bar so be prepared to talk about sports or current events when you stop by!! read more

I LOVE Robbies First Base!! I know I can always count on them to help me with Birthday, Christmas, and just for fun gifts. They know me by name and know my style of gift giving (That's how often I shop there) Everyone there is super friendly and down to earth. Anytime I need auction items for our Salon, I call Robin Jr and he takes care of it all. He knows exactly what items are appropriate for certain events and even checks in to make sure our charity event went well. I tell all of my clients to come here and they always thank me later. read more

During my years as the graphic designer /organizer for the Baltimore Green Valley Turkey Trot, I have had many opportunities to work with Robbie Jr and his staff. Each year they supplied our event with top sports memorabilia items for our attendees to bid on. Not only did they have great and varying items to chose from each year, they handled their end of the process from top to bottom, taking that stress off our team's shoulders. On a personal note, Robbie Jr is a genuinely nice guy, true professional, and always has been a pleasure to work with! If you need great Baltimore ( and more ) sports memorabilia for you or your event, go visit Robbie Jr, Sr, and their crew at their Lutherville Store. read more

Robbie's First Base - Robbie Jr was able to get Joes autograph on my daughters first jersey. It will have a special place in our home! - Hobby Shops Near Me - Lutherville-Timonium, Maryland

Robbies helped me out with a signed football that had a damaged internal bladder. They were able to replace the bladder, inflate the ball and make it look good as new (If not better!). I was thrilled with the result and highly recommend them to anyone who is feeling a little "flat" :) read more

Just finished up a fundraising deal with Robbie's. This place is so great to work with! They cut us a great deal on items for silent auction, taught us the ropes of making money off these things and even provided a credit card machine for us! When all was said and done, our organization made almost $500 of their donations alone! Thanks so much to the helpful staff at Robbie's...very nice doing business there. read more

Robbie does a great job @ Robbie's 1st Base! This is a great place to buy rare sports memorabilia. Robbie's got a great eye for all kinds of sports memorabilia, and it's worth a trip just to see what new stuff he's brought in! It's like visiting a museum, but even better because you can buy and take some of these great items with you! Robbie's can also ship anything anywhere, and his prices are great! I use them all the time to ship all of my eBay and Craiglists items that I've sold. read more

Robbie has EXCELLENT customer service. All photos and framing come out great. Highly recommend

Robbie's is also a packing and shipping establishment. I am disabled. When I need a package sent, I pull into the lot, give them a call, and out comes the most cheerful young man to assist. Today it was Matt. They make my shipping needs painless! Except for the cost. (Smile.) I love Robbie's! read more

The older woman is beyond ignorant and acts as if you giving them bussiness is a hastle to her. Asking politely for help to then have you let out your breath and have to get up from your chair acting like a jerk, so i can ship my package. I would suggest not allowing her to have interaction with customers beyond bad for bussiness. I along with all my friends Ive shared with will never give such a joke of a place another dime. read more

My father wanted to send a care package to my 5 year old daughter with gifts from the whole family. The man handling deliveries typed in the completely wrong address even though my father had typed up a label with the correct address which was also on the box. They never double checked, so the package ended up being misdelivered through no fault of my father. It's been almost two weeks and we never got our package. They have literally done nothing to help and took no responsiblity. As someone who grew up in Lutherville, I am disappointed to see this lack of care and professionalism from a local business. I really feel our community is better than that. My family is devastated that my baby girl will not be getting her gifts. read more

Robbies is a genuine sports memorabilia experience. I don't think staffs come more knowledgeable - and I don't think they have a limit to the reach of the stuff they can get. You can always get a great deal - and it's true blue Baltimore man! Check em out! read more

I have gone to Robbie's for years and enjoy talking with everyone there. I have purchased many things and thought they had very reasonable prices. I like to just stop in and stroll around. They also take care of packing, shipping and faxing. read more
