salad w/ chicken tender & homemade dressing. nothing special.

The burgers here are great, juicy, tender and flavorful, they'd cook it the way you want it to be. I'd end up here whenever I'm craving for a burger and adding a fries to go with it. I'd come back to try other items as its coveniently located near my work. P.s call to place an order over the phone, so you dont have to wait long. Cash only.

Amazing family run grill and sandwich shop. The menu is fairly extensive given the small size of the space. The staff is polite and quick. I'll be back many times, now that I know how great it is.

I wanted to love fall in love with it, but have to say, the two I tried did not blow me away. I liked LA SUMMER Proscuitto, Mozzerella, Tomato, Basil better than their top selling FAVOLOSA made with salame toscana, pecorino cream, artichoke cream, and spicy eggplant. Think next time I will try the VENICE BEACH Turkey, tomato, mozzarella. The sandwiches are huge, more like 2 sandwiches, so pricing is fine. RECOMMENDED

I thought everything was quite balanced. The sandwich was about $21. Which I thought was reasonable because it was big enough to feed two people. There werent much of a wait when I was there, so service was quick. You order at the counter and they make your sandwich. Just tell them what you want and Bada Bing, Bada boom: you got your sandwich in a couple of minutes. They have seating inside and out. Italian Sub: $20 for a foot long, the meat was so plentiful it's almost overflowing, enough for two meals. The prisciutto was tender and juicy; the salami was firm and savory with a strong smokiness. Both are thinly sliced, so despite the thick stack, it was relatively easy for a bite. The provolone cheese was also generously portioned, with a robust yet not spicy flavor and a subtle nutty aroma, perfectly complementing the two meats. The olive oil and balsamic vinegar were particularly outstanding: mellow, tangy, and with a fruity aroma of grapes, key to the complex flavor profile. The lettuce, tomatoes, and onions were all fresh, especially the onions were refreshing and a little zingy, perfect for removing the greasiness. Unfortunately, I was worried about not being able to roll it back up properly and making it inconvenient to carry (which it actually happened), so I took it away and ate it at the office. After about 40 minutes, the bread had become somewhat dry and hard.

But I'm actually writing about the company's website and phone recording. Once, on a prior holiday, and today due to a winter storm, I wasn't sure if the restaurant was open. In both cases (where the restaurant turned out to be closed), the website (appropriately) didn't allow online orders, and (more importantly) THE OUTGOING PHONE RECORDING WAS UPDATED WITH CURRENT INFORMATION. In an era where businesses barely have phone numbers to call, or employees who answer with something other than 'hello', is rare (and by the way, this is the fault of management if they don't properly train their staff). THANK YOU FOR HAVING YOUR SHIT TOGETHER IN COMMUNICATING YOUR HOURS TO THE PUBLIC. I, for one, appreciate it.

It was the gold standard for a real sandwich in the city. Sadly, the magic has faded. Between the soaring prices and the shrinking portions, the value just isn't there anymore. You can taste the "corner-cutting"--the flavors aren't as bold as they used to be, and the sandwiches feel noticeably smaller even though the cost has increased exponentially - I mean $30 for a sammy?! It should have gold in it! Even then, I'd keep coming once in awhile if the service was worth it. but honestly - the staff seems burnt out even bright early in the morning. It's hard to justify the premium price for a shadow of what this place used to be.

We almost felt that we were inconveniencing the workers and the wait time is absurd for in person orders. But I have to give credit when it's due, this was by far one of my favorite sandwiches although they are pricey, you can easily feed a party of four with a nice bag of chips on the side. We were blessed with being able to try the table sandwich. The focaccia was fresh along with the mozzarella and arugula. Since we made an online order which quoted us 45 minutes, our sandwich was ready in 20 so unfortunately, the chicken cutlet was not as fresh as we would've liked. Sidenote, the first day we attempted to order in person they quoted us an hour, so we decided to place an order of the following day. Highly recommend placing the order and staying local to be safe. I've eaten here before (it's a small area, but does have a lot of seating) but normally I get it as take out. The cafe itself is super casual, it's the perfect place to pop into during lunch or after a walk. My food is always ready on time which is nice, and when I've eaten there I'm usually able to find a seat. The spinach tortellini with the pesto cream sauce is my absolute favorite- it's a HUGE portion and so delicious. It usually lasts me at least 2 meals. The bread they include is also great! I like to dip it in the sauce. The past time I got Dino's I accidentally ordered spinach ravioli instead of tortellini...that was my bad. HOWEVER I think I might have found my new favorite? The raviolis are huge and so fat. I'm talking like 1/2 inch - 3/4 inch thick. There is so much stuffing and the spinach ricotta mix tastes so fresh and delicious...it's a must try. I've also gotten the eggplant parm before, and the fettuccini Alfredo. Both were also delicious. I've never had any of the sandwiches, but if they are anything like their pastas then I'm sure they are great! The bang for your buck here is also great which is nice. Highly recommend! Every search for…read morebreakfast spots mentioned Mike & Patty's as a must stop for the best breakfast sandwich you're going to get anywhere. Enough said! I'm a huge breakfast fanatic, especially a good breakfast sandwich or burrito. This is the original location that was started by two friends and has grown to multiple other locations since. We took an Uber here from our hotel. I imagine if you drive over here, parking will be a challenge. It's almost easy to miss. It sits on a corner of a brick building with just writing on the windows. In all my research I did not catch that it is the smallest restaurant in Boston at only 175 square feet. It's basically a room with most of the space taken by the tiny kitchen. There's also a little tiny ledge on the window with a couple of stools for those who may want to dine in. Customers including us took turns walking in and putting in our orders and then stepping out to make room for more people. It had a steady line the whole time we were there. Hours are limited from 7:30-2 so don't delay. Customer service was straight business, kind of the norm in Boston. Their menu is breakfast sandwiches, a couple of burritos and some lunch options like a turkey sandwich, BLT, or a Rueben. For sides, they have hashbrowns or a plain English muffin. For a small menu, they do have quite a few drink options like coffee, tea, juices, and different flavored milks including banana milk which I have never seen. For their food, they use high quality ingredients from local farms and purveyors and have their own bakery for their bread. My eyes fixated on the Breakfast Grilled Crack mainly for the name, but also all the ingredients looked tasty. It was quality eggs, bacon, four cheeses on sourdough bread. I went extra and added sausage to it as well. I also got OJ to wash it down. We realized our only option to eat comfortably was to go back to our hotel lobby to eat. Even with the travel time, the sandwich was nice and warm and the bread was still nice and crispy from the griddle. This sandwich was indeed one of the best breakfast sandwiches I have ever had. I almost felt guilty eating it because of how rich and cheesy it was. I would skip the hash brown next time. It did not travel well nor did it have anything special going on with it. Hands down one of my favorite meals of the trip that I would absolutely do again if I am in the area.

To quench my thirst, I opted for a Storrow Jam libation- a blueberry, vodka, sparkling water, lemon flavored drink. Absolutely refreshing and well presented! My pal ordered their spin on a Cuban and swapped out the chips for the dill pasta side. He loved it so much that it was gone on minutes. Being a fan of ground meats, I opted for the Hajj, a ground lamb, tzatziki, Mediterranean style sandwich. It was well flavored and large, and came with a side salad.
