Butter croissants are delicious. Light and flaky with some buttery texture and beautiful flavor. Great little addition to the area, great service, it was a good experience.

Cute, well crafted, and super yummy! They do run out of most things well before close, so make a point to get here early if you can.

Went Saturday morning for some yummy bread and croissants. The line was getting long and I showed up At 10:06 am and the table was still full of yumminess. I ordered the highly recommended almond croissants, a loaf of the blue hoppy grits bread and yes loved it, we also bought the baguette and everything is so good. Yes waiting in line is so worth it. We will be back for sure.

Ok, I'm going to go there!!! I was a little thrown off that croissant was over 6 bucks, but it was worth it!!!! I had the almond croissant and it was huge and amazing!!!! I was wondering through the African village and went to the annex to get a cup of coffee and stumbled upon Hidden Hearth. I don't usually come to the annex during the day but I'm glad I did. I'm going to be back for sure and try everything.

So good! I picked up a huge loaf of their house bread for $11 and a HUGE almond croissant for $6.50. They had a table setup outside their shop on a Saturday with their offerings, not sure if this is the norm for how they sell or just the weekends. Can't wait to go back and try more of their goods!

I've been known to never deny myself a sweet treat. I happened to be at the annex to grab a coffee and saw their stand set up outside the building, and it looked so good I had to indulge. I got a matcha twist priced at $7. It was huge, and I'll splurge for quality. Unfortunately, it wasn't as delicious as I was expecting. Whatever matcha flavor was overpowered by how burnt the outside was. I ate most of it because I hate wasting food, but I was pretty disappointed. Maybe it was just that batch? Either way, if you go, really look at the pastries before buying.

Best croissant I've had in the United States! And the bread...OMG. Worth waiting in line in the hot sun. Worth the carbs. Worth it all.

Upping the ante for Tucson's bread/bakery scene. Great selection. Quality ingredients. Get there early. Best almond croissant in town.

The custom ordering process was easy and the price was very reasonable. One thing to keep in mind with Village Bakehouse is that they have limited indoor seating and are often crowded. They do have covered outdoor seating with fans but you are looking at a parking lot so not super picturesque.

Between having ordered a customized cake to picking up cakes from their display cases... I don't have a favorite... each one has been unique and delicious in their own (ps- their icing is amazing). For the quality of their cakes, their prices are totally reasonable. They have additional bakery items ( cookies, pastries etc) that I have tried and I would rate those a 4/5. Good and comparable to some additional amazing bakers in Tucson. I have also dined here for brunch and I would rate it a 3/5. Overall service is great here- staff are attentive and take the time to describe the items. There is a line to order usually- understandably so when you see their bakery case! Indoor and outdoor seating available. Ample parking as it is in a strip mall.

It's located between Petco and Ace Hardware, and there is plenty of parking. You can order at a kiosk, but since we came later in the evening, the cashier was happy to take our order and was very friendly. My husband ordered the Thai Tea with boba. I ordered the Jasmine milk tea with panacotta and boba, and we shared a mango tiramisu. We were both happy with our drinks. The panacotta is a great topping and the boba was fresh, even later in the evening. The mango tiramisu was a perfect treat. It had a jello‑like topping with fresh mango pieces, and the creamy moist bites were delicious. I really enjoyed the consistency and flavor. We played checkers while we hung out. I would love to come back to try more teas and desserts. I definitely want to try the waffle because it smelled amazing. There are plenty of places to sit and everything was very clean. We will be back!
