My hunt for a good Berger lead me here. With the reviews I decided to try it. My boyfriend tried the BBQ chicken nachos large and he didn't realize how big it was going to be. The chips and BBQ sauce were amazing and he said he would definitely order this again. The burger on the other hand...the tater tots should have been fried a little longer. They were still mushy lacking that crunch. The burger patty was delicious with their spices and melted cheese. The bun was toasted with butter which made it a perfect pair. The burger itself were dry. It definitely needed a sauce or at least mayonnaise. The lettuce used was shredded and had a weird taste that didn't go with the burger. It also came with tomato with I opt out. The pickles were included but nothing was different. Just typical pickles. Would have been good if they were kind of thick kosher pickles but oh well. All in all we would go back for the nachos again but not the burger. read more

Stopped by after the movies to watch the NCAA Women's basketball championship game and grab a bite to eat. I sat at the bar, staff were very friendly and attentive, drinks were well made and the food came out in a timely manner. Wednesday is half price wings and they are always good. Summer was my server and she has served my family many times. She always does an amazing job. I drink a lot of Diet Coke and she makes sure that I don't go below the half way mark. She pays attention!!!! And she does good table maintenance. Wow! I am quite impressed with this place. Came here on a Monday night. They had live music which made the place so welcoming. HUGE TV's for football Monday. 1/2 priced burgers and 1/2 priced well drinks ohh and $3 domestic beers! What?! That's unheard of. We ordered a few burgers. My FAVORITE was the mushroom with Swiss cheese. Service very was amazing. Everyone here was ultra friendly. They also have a trivia night.. I think it's Tuesday but check up on it. Definitely great for couples and family. Just a great place with plenty of parking as well. I'll definitely be back as this is my new go-to local sports bar. read more

I got my hands on the Cedar Plank Salmon, which is a baked salmon fillet with a chili lime rub, alongside steamed yellow rice. Heyoooo. Total sucker for some build your own salad action. Especially paired with a wine or seltzer. Basic bitch over here. To be honest, this menu is incredibly welcoming to all diet types as it has a solid foundation yet builds off that to be extremely versatile. But again, my personal plus is the BYO salad option. Came here a few years ago with friends to watch some sports and forgot about it. Then I recently came back when I was in the area. I honestly forget about this whole little patch of shops and stuff because I'm not usually out this way. It's really not that far though and there's plenty to do around. I mean there's always a reason to stop in to REI right? Very clean inside especially the bar area. Nice bathrooms too. And a patio that's covered to spend some time people watching outside. Tons of TVs of varying sizes but when there is a game on, it can be pretty loud so consider yourselves warned. I'm guessing if you go there during a game, you're probably going to watch it anyway. So that just fuels your game day excitement. Plus the other times I've been when there isn't something sports related going on, the volume has been normal. All of this to say, great place for some game day energy, and a nice Tavern spot regardless. I really went the roundabout way to make that point. Sheesh Bartenders are always willing to change the channel for you if there's something you want to watch and they have the service. Very kind staff in general. They have a ton of alcohol options for everyone. Seems like they just got new fancy cocktails so be looking for those on the menu. I am more of a wine or seltzer person, and they have plenty of those to choose from as well. Prices are comparable to other places especially for the area. Sometimes have specials so check that out. I appreciate that the menu has a foundation, but you can really explore and be adventurous and grow from that. You will find a plethora of upscale, pub, food, such as burgers and tacos and nachos, as well as some nicer entrée, such as shrimp and grits, Again, I love the salad option where you can choose your base and dressing and cheese and fruit/nuts/veggies. It felt extremely healthy both times I recently got it, and it came out, looking fresh and full. They have veggie burgers and shrimp and salmon for me and chicken and steak for others. Jamie was amazing, we used to play bingo here EVERY tuesday, Until the new manager (who doesn't even work there anymore, came from ocharlies) caused a giant issue with us (and called the police because conversations where she's wrong scare her). The worst lunch I can remember. This place used to be pretty good, but this experience was a disaster. Geez - where to start? Its a sports bar, so how can you be out of beer? Like the first 3 choices were "out"? really. Server tried to make excuses for a busy yesterday, but --------. Looked like he had slept in the clothes from yesterday too. Chicken sandwich tasted like it was made yesterday and left in a cooler all night to reheat. Tough as shoe leather, dry, and so small the bun was twice the size of the chicken. Fries were cold. We ate at Hickory Tavern last night during their music bingo night. It truly was SO much fun - I had a blast and definitely enjoyed my time here. In my opinion this is a great place to come if you're looking for wonderful food - the Freedom burger was DELISH - Hickory also has a wonderful atmosphere, and the people are so welcoming and so sweet! Our host, Autumn, was amazing! Her hospitality and the way she handles herself during busy times is absolutely astounding! 100/10 recommend if you're local or even visiting for the time-being. We came here for happy hour after a long day of meetings at the Hilton across the block. I popped in and we sat on the outside area, watching the weather get progressively worse. Thunderstorm alert! Our server, Kaleigh, was awesome and came out to lower the walls to keep us as dry as we could get with the setup. I was enjoying the Hendrick's Peach refresher, which was a little sweet but the club soda cut through the sweeter side of them. Had a couple and could've seen myself enjoying too many but someone ordered queso and spinach artichoke dip so I was also enjoying the warm crispy homemade chips with the rich and delicious dips. Since it was pouring we decided to stay. I ended up ordering a Reuben and had tater tots as my side. Used some Carolina gold bbq sauce to enhance the flavors. Tangy, sweet- really tasty! Service was great, we never needed anything because Kaleigh was all over it. Water was filled, when the storm ended she put the blinds back up because the heat and humidity was high after the storm passed. Really enjoyable. The bar food here is good, the drinks are tasty, there's no reason why you shouldn't come in here and enjoy yourself. Support small businesses! read more

It's just lunch on a Friday. For starters, this place is HUGE. If you want to watch a game, while drinking cold beer and eating great food, this is your spot. Whether you're alone and want great service at the bar, or if you bring a crew to grab one of their many, many tables, this is your spot. Wow! I can't say enough great things about this restaurant. I searched high and low for the perfect venue to host my in laws 50th wedding anniversary. I'm so grateful I found this place, I started planning and communication with them before hand and everyone was so helpful and professional and made this party seamless. We had the entire heated inclosed outdoor patio area which was handicap accessible. Our server was amazing, she really nailed it. The food was delicious, came out perfect even with our large group. They even let us bring in our decorations and a microphone for toasts. I highly recommend this restaurant for your large event or if you're hungry! Definitely one of the best sports bars I've ever been to! We came in late on a Wednesday night and they were packed! Excellent food and drinks, large selection of beer, and a live band. What else could you ask for? Our server was definitely slammed, but she still managed to take great care of us. I had the quesadillas and the Diablo burger, and my wife had the shrimp tacos which unfortunately came out stone cold, but she got a replacement right after we let our server know.
