Had a family get together at this sports bar and I wanted to express to everyone how great it was. The service was probably one of the best sports bar I can remember, I wished I could remember his name but that young man was awesome (hopefully the tip showed it!) As soon as any one of us glass went empty, he was there. The bar service was a little slow, but once we got it the hang of when to order it all worked out. We are a huge college football family, and we had all the games surrounding us that we wanted to see. We did eventually order a platter of wings for the table and we were not disappointed, matter of fact, a few of us said they might be the best wings we have ever had, which is saying a lot of wings! O my, the "salad in a jar" is the best! You choose everything from a list of choices to make ur salad.

First time here. It's a nice place, plenty of tvs too watch the games on. Unfortunately our service was lacking. We were slow to get waited on. Drinks took extremely long to get. Our appetizers came out cold, and all they did was reheat the cheese sticks. I have to say the wings and chicken fingers were good. Order a second drinks and it didn't arrive until I was almost completely done with the wings. We will return and try again, but it won't be in a weekend night. I do recommend the wings. read more

She went over and beyond I asked her thoughts on a drink where I could put a Porter beer with a shot of ricotta in it and it would be tasting like coconut beer and she went with it even though she didn't really think it would work and served it to me. I've never left a bad review before but here it goes. We waited 20 minutes to place our order after the drinks arrived. The waiter said it was his fourth day so I blew it off and tried to stay positive even though both my daughter and I were starting to get hangry. The wings took quite a bit of time to arrive but that's understandable considering how packed the place was. My daughter ordered a Ham and Cheese sandwich but they brought out chicken skewers. The waiter apologized and reordered her sandwich. When we were just about to wrap up they brought her out a cheese burger. Not once but twice the wrong meal was ordered for my daughter. The food was good, not great but good. If the service wasn't so painfully bad we would go again. The outside back area is cool with a great lake view. And when everyone else had their food delivered to them I was told mine would be "right out". But alas.. it never was. I left the server a great tip but he should probably look for different employment opportunities as this location is the worst. We will not be back to eat. Ever. Manager should have been notified but the best I could tell the manager did not care at all. After never ever getting my drink my husband went up to tell the bartender and they reluctantly complied. The best thing about this location is leaving. Oh and the fries were stale and awful. My 18 year old who literally eats everything in site left his plate stacked with them. Do yourself a favor. I've been frequenting WWC for years now. The food is pretty consistent, and service varies. My one complaint has been the hostess that usually works when I've come in. She is rude and makes it seem like she'd rather be anywhere else than her job. (I've noted this to management before). Tonight, I was pleasantly surprised to see she wasn't there and two new hosts in her place. Shout out to the management for that change. I didn't catch their names, but it was a curly headed blonde and blonde headed boy. They were running the show. I came in tonight for a class reunion, so I was expecting a slower paced evening. I stuck with my usual 15 piece wings with wild west and red hot and bleu. I ask for them wet as they are usually too dry for my liking otherwise. Our party ordered a variety of entrees and sides, and I didn't hear one complaint. Our servers were back and forth all night and I commend them for putting up with all of us! I did ask one her name as she was particularly helpful (thank you Morgan). It's been a while since I've been in, but now I can't wait to bring my grandsons back to watch some college football on Saturdays. Keep up the good work! The food is good but its not consistent. I usually order the chicken tenders and sometimes they are amazing and other times they aren't that great at all.. The wings are good but they kind of skimp on the sauce and charge you for additional sauces... Travis is the BEST! Wild Wing is a staple in our family. We live on the South side of town, so we prefer to visit the Long Shoals location. First of all, the venue is beautiful. In the warmer months, definitely sit on the patio and take in the scenery. It is a bar, so it is noisy! My teenage son loves to go when the buffet is open, and with his appetite (and my husband's) this is the best time to go. Our go-tos are the Dave and Friends dip (yummy), wings (everyone has a favorite flavor--Bubba's BBQ, Ranchilada, Boss, Wild West), and the wraps. I would go back for that but on this visit we decided to go for the wings. We were told our wait would be about 30 minutes, in total we ended up waiting about 1.5 hours! We grabbed beers from the bar and stood over at the fence with a great view of the beach/lake. Unfortunately they also had a very large party on top of it being "Happy Hour". But it was also Wednesday... I thought most places always had a rush on "Wing Wednesday", so they'd be prepared? You'd think. Any ways, we got shorted and were served a plate of tiny, baby drums. Next time don't assume they are prepared! I'm a simple lady and always go for hot buffalo + extra garlic. WWC does a good job with that. Also got an order of the steel town chips. Get them - Your face hole will be happy. So, so good. When we were done with dinner we moved inside to the bar. It was 10p at this point and there were still people waiting for patio seats so we didn't mind moving in and watching the hockey game there. Great bartender. Friendly conversations with other patrons. Not really social distancing but everyone wore a mask while walking around and they were still cleaning everything in between guest. All of the staff were friendly and working hard to get through the night. REMEMBER TO TIP YOUR SERVER! We saw 2 tables of 5+ leave without tipping... that's just rude and messed up.
