I have an Uber eats delivery from red lobster. My food arrived so cold. I had to reheat it before I could even eat dinner when I called red lobster they told me the problem was with Uber eats Uber eats is supposed to package the food in a container that keeps it hot. You know, like Domino's. So even though I paid red lobster for my dinner, they didn't care last time. I ordered there, even though the food reheated even was quite good. My husband and I have always enjoyed eating here but we were very disappointed with the food on our latest visit. Our waitress was phenomenal but the food? My husband got the surf and turf, lobster tail and a sirloin. The sirloin was very thin and small. The lobster tail (there were two) were tiny and he barely got 7 bites of meat between them both. I've always loved Red Lobster and the Shrimp Scampi is my favorite. You can depend on consistency of any of their dishes, we have never had a bad meal. We were there on Christmas Day and admittedly there was slower service as they were super busy but they were doing the best they could and everyone was cheerful and kind. read more

Had a great time yesterday with my grandma and we got to enjoy an amazing lunch. We both had the cod sandwich either raspberry sweet teas I did a side of the bacon Mac n cheese which was so worth it. And my grandma did the mashed potatoes which were good. Of course we loved the cheddar baked biscuits I even got an order to take home. Plus an extra order of the Mac n cheese with bacon. Our server Holden was so nice and very charismatic and very helpful and gave the great recommendation for the Mac n cheese. We will definitely be back for a visit again and hope to have Holden again as our server. He was very kind and very attentive not only to our table but his other tables that were close by. read more

We had lunch at Red Lobster in Asheville and both ordered the Fish and Chips. We received two very small pieces of fish with subpar coating (very chewy) and french fries that were luke warm and soggy. We ate as much as we could and paid or $58 bill. We left a good tip because the waitress was excellent but the food was just terrible. We almost went to Culver's and I wish we would have. That would have saved us $30 and tasted a whole lot better. My Husband, 3 children and I came and ate at the Tunnel road location on 1/31/23. I have been to this restaurant many times, since I was a little girl. Very busy @ 5:45 on a Saturday eve, so we sat at bar as opposed to 30 min wait. Bartender was busy, but seemed brusque and service was mediocre. Salads came before appetizer, obviously directly from refrigeration, but were ok. Appetizer came during salads, extremely hot. Stuffed mushrooms, flavor ok, but very bland. Partner had fish and chips, I had seafood feast. She said hers was salty. My lobster tail seemed very small, question if it was even legal size. Everything on my plate was salty, the lobster, the scallops and both types of shrimp. I've eaten at Red Lobsters all over the country and have never experienced this before. Once again I won't give a corporate chain 5 stars. However, my meal here today was very satisfactory. The caesar salad was crisp and cold. The biscuits were hot and fluffy. My salmon was a decent size for the half portion that I ordered. I ordered 2 sides of broccoli but only 1 came out with my plate. My server noticed it instantly and brought out another order quickly. Basically you walk into Red Lobster on a stormy Wednesday evening. You sit down with your wife and two kids. The waiter comes by to take your order as you hungrily ask for the endless shrimp. 15 minutes later everybody is served. Your wife and kids ordered the endless shrimp as well. As the night morphs into inky blackness outside you all talk and laugh and eat. You eat plate after plate after plate of shrimp. After a couple hours, you and your family are stuffed. You motion to the waiter to bring the bill and look down at your plate, letting out a small chuckle. It looks like you haven't even eaten a single bit of shrimp- a curious thing since you have been gorging yourself on shrimp constantly for the better part of two hours. But before you can puzzle over this small oddity any longer, the waiter bustles over to your table and hands you the bill. As you reach over to grab the check your hand closes instead around a squishy pile of shrimp. There is no check being held out to you, just another plate of shrimp. A loud thunderclap booms outside as you look up at the waiter to ask why he brought you more shrimp instead of the check, when you are suddenly alarmed to find not the waiter, but a giant, human-sized shrimp in server attire staring blankly down at you. You spin around in your seat to see if your wife can see the shrimp waiter and are immediately frightened out of your wits. Your wife is no longer seated there next to you- only another human-sized shrimp wearing your wife's dress and hoop earrings. Numb with horror, you quickly glance across the table at your two children. They are both shrimps. You let out a yell as another thunderclap echoes across the sky and it begins to rain. You distantly register the start of the torrential downfall outside, which sounds like large hail, as you spare a sweeping glance across the restaurant. There are no humans present. There are only shrimps seated at booths, shrimps seated at tables, and even a small group of shrimps at the bar. They are all eating large platefuls of shrimp and leering at you menacingly. Your heart begins to pound in your chest like a war drum. You stumble backwards, half falling over your chair in your haste to get up. You sprint for the door and run outside into the dark stormy night. As you dash through the parking lot towards your car you feel something like a giant hot raindrop hit your face and bounce off towards the ground. Looking down you see a shrimp lying on the ground. You look out across the parking lot and see puddles of shrimp collecting in the cracks in the pavement and across the roofs of the closest cars. Another warm object strikes your head. It's literally raining shrimp. You find your car and fumble, hands shaking uncontrollably, with your keys. Finally unlocking the car you slip inside and engage the door locks. The human-sized shrimp from the restaurant are now congregating outside the front doors, staring across the parking lot at you. Their pale orange-pink bodies eerily backlit from the light streaming out from the open doors behind them. You try to cram the key into the ignition, but it folds against the ignition plate and squishes in your hand. You look down. There are no car keys, only several mangled shrimp on a keyring in your trembling hand. You punch the steering wheel in frustration accidentally setting off the car alarm. The shrimps outside the restaurant hear the noise and hungrily start to advance across the parking lot towards you. You try in vain to cram the shrimp key into the ignition but you know it is pointless. The shrimp slowly approach the car and surround it, rocking it back and forth, pressing their slimy bodies against the frame. You hear the fiberglass doors groan under the pressure as one of the rear windows shatters, spraying the backseat of the car with fragments of glass. You know there is no hope left. There is no escape. White-faced and shaking, you reach across the console and open the glovebox. Crammed under the insurance papers and a pile of napkins is the Glock 19 you always bring with you when you leave the house. You pull the gun from its holster and pause for a fraction of a second that holds an eternity. With tears streaming down your face, you put the gun to the roof of your mouth. Trying not to imagine what it feels like to die, only forcing yourself to think of your wife and kids you close your eyes. Then you pull the trigger. A singular shrimp comes zooming out of the barrel into your mouth. In your darkest hour, death itself refuses to end you. For death is not the end. There can only be shrimp - and they are endless. read more

The Mgr gave my daughter brownie dessert and a complete stranger paid for my daughter dinner tab. I am single mom and feel so truly blessed that they are still kind people out there. For a seafood restaurant prices were good. Menu was extensive with a wide range of selections and prices. We've been to other locations of this chain. This location is among the better. read more

My husband and I went there to eat on June 18, 2020. They were still following the Covid-19 guidelines, which is fine - but we were not expecting the menu choices to be so abbreviated. We could not find what we really wanted to eat (not even a house salad!), and we almost walked out without eating there. I wish we had. Neither one of us liked what we got (the salmon did not taste the same). After eating (and the meals were ridiculously expensive and contained way too much food), I went to the restroom. The floor was sticky in front of one of the sinks, which made me wonder how dirty the rest of the restaurant was! We both agreed we are not returning to this restaurant. To put this in perspective, we have been eating there for many years. Sad to see they have sunk to this level. read more

It's off in the corner in some kind of purgatory between 3 sections, and no one appears to be clear on which server is supposed to handle it. So, as a result, we sat there for 10-15 minutes as 6 different servers walked past us without saying a word. Finally, a nice girl named Kelly noticed that we had no water or silverware or anything, and went to get someone. After that, the experience was mostly fine. Our 2nd waiter (not sure what happened to the first one) apologized for the wait and took our order. The shrimp were tasty enough, but it took forever between our orders to get our Endless Shrimp. We ended up being there for nearly 2 hours. When it's a chain like this, you've got to go on the individual experience of each location, and this one is far from great, sadly. We went to Red Lobster last night for dinner to celebrate a friend's birthday, a party of nine. The server was nice and I guess did her best, although it took a while for her to take our order. The kitchen, on the other hand, did not do their best, and neither did management. My shrimp came out raw. Another person got shrimp when she had ordered chicken. The people who ordered steak had steaks that were way more done than they requested. No one had cooked broccoli. There were only two meals that were correct. That's pretty bad. The server did bring me new shrimp and brought chicken for that person, but we felt management should have comped some of the meals or given us coupons to return, not that we will return. Boyfriend's Mom decided she wanted to try out the new 4 course lunch special at Red Lobster, so the GPS found us the closest one and there we were. We were seated immediately, and everything started out well. Cheddar biscuits were good as always, and we all ordered - boyfriend the fish and chips, me the lobster pasta, and his parents both the sailor platter. The 4 course lunch, as it turns out, is a TON of food. The salads came out, and about 4 bits in I found a hair that obviously did not belong to anyone at our table. Done with that one. Then the entrees came, and boyfriend found one in his french fries. Apparently someone in the back wasn't wearing their hairnets or something. The food was typical Red Lobster, but it was hard to get past the hair in 2 dishes. Had there been a chance it was one of ours, that would have been one thing. But there was NO WAY. The server was nice enough about the first one, and offered to bring me a new salad. (Boyfriend didn't want to tell about the second one, although I wish he had.) Too bad, because had it not been for that, this probably would have gotten three stars - service is good, there's lots of parking, and its what you'd expect from any Red Lobster otherwise. read more

I recently had a bad experience at an Asheville seafood establishment, but thought why not try out red lobster to compare. Maybe seafood is just not meant to be in the mountains. I seriously looked at the food and thought... I could go to any store and the generic/no brand name would be better than this. I understand the need for a profit when a company is stale, but this was just an awful why to make a profit. Had this not been a delivery, I would have sent it back.
