My first ever poke bowl, did not disappoint. A lot to eat in one sitting and I think you will have leftovers like I did.

Hibatchi-San on Camp Pendleton Marine base-yum -Poke bowls :) healthier option than a cheeseburger and fries. Small or Large size small is actually a good size portion. Also reasonably priced. Great location /Commissary side by the ITT Leisure &Travel ticket place. Friendly customer service and order line moves pretty quickly. Plenty of seating &clean. 5stars!

Spicy salmon, spicy crab, and spicy tuna with seaweed and spicy mayo. Good eats?

FOOD was delicious, tonight as always. We were here at bout 8 pm. The sushi rice mixed with Poki, teriyaki chicken, and crab meat....theres just something special about this combination that is so flattering to the tastebuds. I added cucumber and fried onions and WOW! SERVICE Tonight we were greeted by the Hispanic manager who took really good care of us. We didn't feel rushed at all. Sometimes there's so much to choose from. The gal from Micronesia, was a delight to chat with. She laughs at everything. We love her. AMBIANCE We are retired and seldom in a hurry. We got caught up watching Biden and Harris on the news. It's clean in the diner and quiet. The Olympics was silently playing on another TV All in all, we love this place. $27 for 2 regular bowls that was very very filling. That's about the price of McDonald's when we go, so go here and get good healthier, food. 5 STARS FOR HIBACHI SAN!

Love this spot! The portions, fresh food is well worth the affordable price. So quick and easy in and out, lots of parking. Always clean inside and out. Staff are friendly and welcoming! Must have base access

White rice with beef, chicken, and potstickers. Finish it off with a large lemonade.

ALL AREAS ARE REVIEWED 1-5, 1 being the worst and 5 being the best. Parking-lots of shared lot parking, both directly out front and in the exchange and commissary parking lot. Seating-5-while there is it an over abundance of searing, there is always an available place to sit. Wait staff-5-the. Punter staff is helpful and polite. Speed of Service-5-your meal is prepared and you pick your protein, rice, veggies, and sauce. Food-3-this has always been my go to when I am by the beach, unfortunately the normally awesome chicken was not awesome. It seemed that my chicken was more fat than meat. The beef was so-so as well, but the pot stickers are always great. Always get extra teriyaki sauce!! Ambiance-4-Nothing special, but there are two large tv's on the wall for news as well as available bathrooms. Price-4-Better than average, and it's a good sized meal. Overall-4-Really like the food here, just wish that the chicken had been better. Shout out-Boba!

I rarely eat Japanese food so I may not be the best judge of their food. Maybe this is highly influenced by California tastes. I found the food very tasty and the portions were large enough for me. I was there at lunchtime and there were several Marines dining there so the portions must be large enough for them. Many were there to pick up orders and left with 5 or 6 takeout orders. The eating area is clean, well organized & comfortable. I highly recommend this place for lunch.

Tater tots disguised as shrimp!

PSA: keep your eyes peeled when you request fried shrimp in your bowl. They gave me a bunch of tater tots disguised as shrimp. Not cool bro...

Service at the register was exactly what you expect from a solid chain friendly, professional, and efficient. The food was delicious and fresh, as always. The ambiance, however, was a bit of a zoo today. I nearly got into an altercation with an entitled customer at the register who was standing far outside the normal waiting area. After accidentally bumping into him, he responded with unnecessary attitude while waiting for his food. Nearby, another young beachgoing customer was walking barefoot throughout the dining room and using a water cup for flavored drinks, the footwear issue felt unsanitary. Parking is a nightmare here but that's expected at almost any California location. Overall, I'm giving 4 stars today, mainly due to factors outside the restaurant's direct control. That said, the lack of any enforced dress code and the consistently unpleasant smell in the men's restroom are concerns especially since employees also use it. Despite all that, I'll continue visiting this Oceanside location. The food and staff keep me coming back

We ordered: *Tijuana Panther: I had this on a corn tortilla. It felt dry and lacked flavor. *Chips & Queso: Pretty solid, and the small order came with a generous portion. *Crispy Potatoes: The first batch was soft instead of crispy. We mentioned it to the staff, and they made a fresh batch right away, which was delicious. The sauce it comes with is great too. They have a self-serve area for water and condiments. You bus your own table, but the employees still went above and beyond. A couple of them checked in on us while we were eating. When I asked for a to-go box, they packed a bag with chips on top of the containers without me asking. Really thoughtful. There's both indoor and outdoor seating, and the space feels open and bright. Overall, the employees were phenomenal, and service was quick. The food, though, is just okay.

No wonder it's a Michelin-recommended spot and the most popular burger joint in Oceanside. Social media didn't lie at all! They use top-tier USDA Prime Grade Brandt beef, a premium grade that less than 5% of beef in the entire US qualifies for. Made with the classic smash thin-press method, the patties are crispy on the edges, juicy and tender in the middle, bursting with meaty flavor. Must-order signature: Dirty Double -- a 2/3 pound double patty with beef bacon, caramelized onions, and house special sauce, served on a soft brioche bun. It's incredibly addictive. Their beef tallow fries are double-fried in pure beef fat, crispy outside, fluffy inside, with a rich savory beef aroma. Another great pick is the Dirty Fries, topped with crumbled beef patty and garlic aioli, absolutely delicious . The chef comes from a Michelin-starred fine dining background, so the seasoning and every little detail are perfectly executed. The restaurant is located in Oceanside, a bit out of the way, but perfect for a stop if you're heading north. The vibe is casual and laid-back with comfy outdoor seating, pet-friendly policy, and efficient, friendly staff. There's still a line even outside peak meal hours, but the wait is totally worth it . Prices are higher than fast-food burgers, around $16 each, but you definitely get what you pay for.
