This is hands down the best nail salon in Spokane. The have the most friendly techs who are so consistent... the place is nice and very clean. The service is top notch. The best massages and they are long!!! Not just 2 minutes. They are thorough and go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Lulu the owner is the sweetest ever!! I called around on last Friday to see who could get us in for two mani/pedi's at 3:30ish. Who knew is a very popular time for nails?! This was the only place nearby that said they had an opening. We got there and it was packed. We were on a time crunch so told them we would just do pedicure and not worry about nails, since, like I said, we were in a hurry. They assured us we would be fine and they could do it. Fastest mani/pedi of my life, and it showed... BIG TIME. Smudged a toe when putting my flip flops on and instead of fixing they just added another coat of polish and called it good. Nothing worse than paying for a pedicure and leaving with a huge smudge. On to the manicure, we wanted shellac. Turns out, they just gave us a polish change and charged for manicure. No cuticle work, hand massage, lotion, nothing. Just a quick shellac with minimal lighting- which means it wont last as long. Sure enough, shellac peeled of all my nails on tuesday. 4 days for shellac!! Usually it lasts almost 2 weeks. This place is convenient, located right downtown, and the staff was VERY friendly and helpful in fitting us in, but I will not be back. $50 each for 15 min smudged pedi and 5 min shellac polish change (supposed to be mani) that lasted 4 days. read more

Great pedicure. Best massage ever! I just got the basic pedicure and it was awesome. One of the reviews have it one star and said that hurt to be massaged. I've had better experiences that's for sure... Came here today 04-12-2016 @ 10sh for a Pedicure with my bestie, and honestly felt robbed.. I began my session 2 minutes after my bestie began her's and the lady plum left after a call and didn't return till 5 minutes later and my foot was completely dry. I didn't even see or feel her trim around the nail or clip away loose skin. I somehow was done with my session 5 minutes before my bestie was done... After my shower one toe completely lost it's color, and there's parts on the side that were missed ( not the nail semi covered by skin ) I'll still return but I hope to God that I don't get the same lady I had today... read more

I have been to several places in town to get a manicure, and hands down this is the best place. The staff are all very professional, and personable. The facility is always very clean. They always do a great job to accommodate me, even when I make a last minute reservations, they are always willing to squeeze me in. I wish I had read the Yelp reviews first before coming in to get a manicure. The Manicurist was nice but for whatever reason she was in a rush and spent little time pushing back my cuticles, cleaning under my nails (maybe she felt she didn't have to because she spent so little time filing them) and just literally slapped lotion on my arms and hands. I didn't complain or say anything about it because I thought that since I came in without an appointment, that maybe she was squeezing me in before her next appointment. But when she was finished polishing my nails and asked me to sit under the dryer, she just went back to her station and began watching something on her cell phone- I spent more time under the dryer than I did in her chair. In the end, my nails didn't look like they were professionally manicured- I was so disappointed! read more

My mom swears by this salon, and we stop by every time I am in town visiting. I usually get a french tip gel manicure and pedicure. You cannot beat the price for the great service you get. Some of the girls in this salon are very sweet and talented. I don't know all their names. Tina and Elvis are my favorite. They do beautiful work and are as nice as they can be. Steer clear of the older supervisor gal. She did a pedicure for me today and it was ridiculously painful. She didn't look at me the whole time other than to try to upsell me. It pissed me off. When I told her she was hurting me it was obvious that she wasn't listening. I get it. She was probably bored and tuned out. I went in for a pedi and this place is dirty. They went and got clippers out that were used on someone else. (They were dirty). I asked lady to get a clean pair and she refused just started using them. Cut nail too on big toe and even cut my skin. Its a shame your making all Hi Tek places look bad. read more

Worst gel manicure ever! Not sure that the first nail tech even knew what to do...she was going to try peeling off my existing gel polish with her nails. I corrected that so she cleaned up my cuticles and put lotion on. Should have stopped there. Another nail tech took over. Soaked the nails and then removed the polish with her nails...what? Where are the tools? Polish was applied properly but at the end she used a file on my nails...seemed to be a popular place for couples pedicures. Will not return. read more

I got my nails done at this shop and from start to finish I was in her chair for an hour and cared for a total of 17 min. She jumped between me and multiple other people.She rushed through mine and they looked awful after she was finished. She was rude and when I asked her to fix them she told me I needed to make an appointment and come back another day. When I came in for the appointment I made she told me they looked fine and what did I need...I explained she did not as much as clean up my cuticles and smooth out my nails. She told me my cuticles aren't included in the "full set price" of $50.00!!! Wow!!! After she had somebody else fix my nails for me, which looked great by the way, she looked at them, asked me if I liked them and then told me that she would not provide service to me anymore! Like I would come back anyway!!! I said "so this is how you treat someone who has a complaint?" Worst experience EVER at a nail salon. I went there with my mom, sister and her her friend. The lady that did mine did such a horrible job. She had filed my nails totally uneven and legit tried to blame it on my fingers being crooked. I told her no its not because of that and after a few times of this back and forth she had just GRABBED my hand and started to file it some more and still did not fix the problem. My nails I got were acrylic and gel set three weeks later my gel top coat is peeling off on not only one but 6 fingers. I have NEVER had the gel polish coat peel off. My mom also had the gel acrylics and same thing is happening to hers BUT her pinky nail completely broke off on her. She noticed it when she got home. She nor I have EVER experienced this either. Overpriced, rushed, and just not that good! I happened to get in when they were just finishing up with a couple people. First lady starts my nails, is rough, burns me and gouges my cuticle with the drill file, more people come in and the owner tells them sure 10 minutes and she had other people waiting. Then the owner pushes the lady off me to do a pedicure and she takes over my nails, they don't file the underside of the tip so I was left with large chunks of acrylic, the sides were all rough and hanging over my skin and when she did the gel top coat, she missed spots all over the nails. It was so obvious they hurry just to get the next client in the chair for that next buck ~ don't care about a good product or customer service! I rarely leave reviews but in this case I felt it necessary, I paid $40 and I've had way better $20 full sets. I'll never go back! read more

Maybe I am spoiled, I don't know.. but this place is not recommended. I was in town early for a conference and thought I would take some luxury in getting my nails done. Now mind you I get my nails done all the time, so I have experience in how I want them done. I made an appointment and they were 20 minutes late getting to me. Then I got a gel manicure... the board said $12 manicure and I imagined about $20 total.. oh no... I got charged $30 for a gel manicure that lasted less time then I waited for them to get to me. My two girlfriends and I went to this place on a whim during a girl's weekend. We had an awesome experience. The massage alone lasted over 30 minutes and was amazing. The people were friendly and the salon even stayed open late for us. All-in-all a great experience. I would recommend it! read more

My sister and I went in for mani pedis while she visited from out of town. We were greeted promptly, but their pedicure was very basic. The massage and scrub lasted only a few minutes. I asked for white tips on my toes, and they acted like they didn't understand. They painted my toes well, very even white tips, but the polish began peeling off the same day. I've never had varnish on my toes begin peeling off in less than a week. I witnessed them mixing their polish with acetone several times, which makes it stretch but affects the quality. I believe this is why it peeled so quickly. The manicure was the worst of my life. While trimming my cuticles, he took a chunk out of three of my fingers. My thumb wouldn't stop bleeding for quite a while, and they downplayed it, acted like it was normal. A week later, my fingers still look raw from the manicure. The nail polish chipped off both mine and my sisters fingers before we even finished our visit at the mall. I left feeling robbed, and treated rudely. I won't be visiting them again. read more

Awful. The guy who did my pedi must have been winging it. My toenails were misshapen. He picked my color for me? Forgot to acetone my toes. It was just weird. Mani was worse. Really hastily done. They didn't bother taking all of the old polish off. Shoddy. Didn't get my whole nail. The more customers that showed up the crappier my mani got. Really, I could have done better on my own. Asked to cut my thumb nail twice and the didn't, painted over my cuticles and didn't clean up around the edges, left hangnails and just overall a bad paint job. What a hot mess! Ridiculous. Don't think you'll get anything special with the $20 pedi, you're nothing to them. You must get the $30 pedi for them to give a rats ass. $20 pedi includes soaking your feet off either 2 seconds to me that sat for 20 minutes. They lightly pretended to exfoliate my feet. Trimmed a few nails then slopped on paint. Not bottom or top coat. Ok you done- bye bye. Here's the deal I brought in 4 tweens as well.... They got better treatment then the lady paying!!!! Not the smartest business model. I'm sure people will continue to go there Bx it's in the mall but don't expect much. ***side not on being glad I didn't get a deeper treatment. They use nothing to clean the foot soaking tubs but s sponge. Zero disinfectant or soap. I watched. And rinsing your tools in my filthy foot water then using tools on next customer. They literally peeled half my own nails off while taking off the gel. As for the pedi massage terrible, they started painting my nail a dark color without a base coat. Just a word of caution. For my birthday my wife gave me a surprise for a present . A pedicure which I have never had in my life . So we went to Hi -Tek nails at the crescent court mall on Main Street . The salon is beautiful and clean . The owner gave me the pedicure . I didn't realize what was involved in a pedicure , I had the best foot and calf massage ever and then she used hot stones as a part of the massage and it was not a 3-5 min massage . It was for several minutes . Taking off the chalices off my feet gave her a workout I'm sure . When I walked away I felt like I had new feet . The owner and workers are very nice and pleasant . Got a gel mani and regular pedi today- was super impressed with the pedicure at first! The massage (one review says its "basically them hitting your feet) was heavenly! They used hot stones and heated oil and it was incredibly relaxing. However the polish job is iffy...it looks uneven, and they filed my nails but didn't trim them so they're much longer than I like. (I should have spoken up and just asked him to trim them!) The gel mani was a different story. I had acrylic nails on that we're quite a bit grown out, and she literally peeled them off with her own nail and the end of one of the acrylic pieces- which I've never seen done before and it was pretty painful. After that she cut my cuticles and went straight to the polish- so it took about 15 minutes total. I'm happy with the finished product on my nails, they look nice and they're filed evenly, but my toes are goopy and uneven. I just wish they would of spent a little more time on me! read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! I had no idea this was where my daughter was going to get her nails done or I would have stopped her. I had the WORST pedicure of my life here last year. My daughter then had the worst set of acrylics put on & polished. They are crooked, they glued her skin & they thin their polish so you can see gray tones under the polish. Went to get her $ back & was treated so rudely. The gal insisted I talk to her while she worked on a client. I told her that I did not want to embarrass her but she insisted we talk right then & there while she continued the manicure. After expressing my dissatisfaction, she did offer to fix them but there was no way we would give them a 2nd chance. My daughters nails hurt & are bleeding at the cuticles. After a bit of arguing & saying they don't give refunds, I managed to get 1/2 our $ back. I STRONGLY advise anyone to go to a different salon! Poor quality & poor customer service! read more
