I LOVE this place. For whatever reason the ladies here work a lot better with my feet than other places. I have an ingrown nail problem and honestly every other place ive been to does a crappy job at removing them. But here at Hi-Tek they do it comfortably and VERY thoroughly. So I always come back. The staff take covid precautions, theres a plexi glass separating us from the workers so I feel completely safe every time I come. Never a bad time here for me. Also, I came here today 03/19/21 and they were cash only-- in case that helps too. These ladies have the hands of a brain surgeon! And I love all of their work~ 10/10 recommend. Don't come here. I spent two hours here getting a mani pedi. They had to redo my nails twice because they did sloppy work. I'm very basic wasn't expecting much. I left unhappy with the job they did and then two hours later I noticed my polish was bubbling see photos. They did not want to refund my money. They refused to unless I allowed them to remove the polish. I am assuming they wanted to mandate sure I didn't end up with a "free" gel manicure. This salon was terrible. Me and my friend went to this salon to get our nails done before school! I ended up getting white gels with rinestones but then she added extra glitter. She applied it very sloppy and uneven. Im not okay with this. They look gross and she charged me 27$ for them! My friends nails look better but immediately when she got in the car 2 rinestones came off. Along with this her nail polish is extremely chunky. I'm confused by the low reviews because I had an excellent experience here on Saturday. I came in half past five, and asked to see if they could fit me in. While they close at six, I was about to be their last customer, which was nice of them. I came in with gel nails on my fingers and toes, and requested for French gel nails for fingers, and gel toes too. The price was very reasonable, and I even got brow waxing done. My French tips look great, and they really were detailed in doing their job. I had one broken nail that needed fixing, and they were able to mend it. That nail barely hurts now. :) I look forward to coming here again next month! read more

Waiting for my toes to dry, and they finally figured out how to paint a freekin butterfly on my daughter's toes. Dude! I should'd read the reviews on this place! But... I do try to give some businesses the benefit of the doubt. What lured me in was the fact that the place was empty at noon time on a Sunday. I tend to freek out a bit if the salon is too busy. Anyway. I wanted a gel manicure and regular pedicure for both myself and my daughter. Did you know that it took about 5 minutes to get that straight??? We chose our colors, which wasn't a great selection for regular and gel colors. We were seated next to each other and the water was warm in the bay. My massage portion of the chair was not turned on, nor could I find the remote to turn it on. I could clearly see my daughters massage remote, but I don't think it was turned on, either. The "massage" came from the water jets. Yay. The lady doing my manicure wrapped my nails in acetone-soaked cotton balls and foil, then used one of those mini drills to take away the previous gel color. She didn't push my cuticles back, and she didn't use a primer prior to the polish. Oh. And she nipped me. Yes, there was blood. Yes, she did a crap job at cleaning it up. Yes, it still hurts. Thank goodness I have hospital-grade antiseptic in my car. My gel manicure is not smooth, and my nail edges are still rough. And my pinkie nail is all brown with old blood. Yah. Gross. Don't go to Holly. Holly bad. Oh! And she was coughing on me as she put the top coat on. I have my own sneezy germs, thank you very much, I don't need yours, too! My pedicure is a complete 180*! Don't know her name, but her attention to detail is a why this place gets 2 stars. At the end of the color she took a brush laced with acetone to clean up the edges. I told her to put a design using black and silver and she did just that! I'm happy with my sparkly pink toes! My daughter chose all purple, because purple is The. Coolest. Color. Ev.Ver! She's okay with the mani and pedi she got. But, it took two ladies to put a butterfly design on her toe. If you're gonna offer it as an example, wouldn't it be nice if the staff was trained to copy the designs offered? No? Too hard to do? Okay... Well. I'm done. If their card machine still doesn't accept an additional tip, it's no skin off my fingers. Oops. Did I say that out loud? read more

I don't normally write reviews on businesses but it is important that I write on my experience at this nail salon today. I walked in at 11:35am to have one nail repaired. I work across the street from the salon so I figured it a good idea to visit on my lunch break because of the convenience of this location. When I entered, I was greeted by one of the workers. I explained what I needed to her and she told me "wait a little while." I sat and waited patiently for someone to help me as there were 5 customers bring served ahead of me. As time passed, another customer walked in and asked for a pedicure. She was told the wait "isn't that long." The woman then asked me how long I'd been waiting and I told her approximately 20 minutes. The woman then told the workers "I'm on my lunch break, I can come back." To my surprise, one of the workers came and prepared a tub for the woman's pedicure. He told her to have a seat, then motioned for me to sit at a station and he'd start me when he was done with her pedicure. I like to think that people's actions are unintentional, but I couldn't help but wonder why this woman who looked "different than myself" would be assisted ahead of me being that I was waiting before she even arrived. I was completely turned off by the situation and politely handed the worker his color palette and left without being serviced. I work in Customer Service management and understand how to service people. I expect the same level of service that I provide when I'm the customer and I received nothing close. I'm very disappointed and would highly recommend the workers in this shop be more mindful of their customers and respectful of their time. read more
