I had an ignition problem for over a year. Every where I went they said it would be 500-800$ to fix it, and re-key it. So I lived with the problem. Had called Yuriy to make a key for my 2005 Toyota Tundra. He said he would be there at 9am. He came at 9:35 which was super late & I didnt receive a call from him saying he would be late. He made the key & charged me $60. He leaves & I test it & it doesnt open the car. The key didnt work for any of the locks. I called him back & he didn't want to talk to me saying that he's not at fault. He didn't even want to drive back out to take a second look at it. So I just threw $60 away. I needed a second transponder key (with remote) for 2010 Mazda5. Local dealers were asking for $400. Yuriy made it for less than half the price (using an OEM refurbished key). I contacted seven or so locksmiths (and local stores, like ACE), but they either would not do transponder keys at all, or needed me to go to their location, or would only do a key, but not the remote. Yuriy was extremely professional, quick & efficient! I have a 2015 Chevy Cruze with a flip key where the key and remote are connected, the unlock button was no longer working and causing my alarm to go off intermittently eventually putting my car into a protective theft mode which prevented me from starting the car. I couldn't turn my key in my ignition. Yuriy replaced the inside of my ignition and cut me a new key with indestructible plastic for the key fob, for a very reasonable price, less than half of what the dealership would have charged. He arrived quickly and got it done within an hour. He showed me a tiny piece of my broken ignition which contributed to me not being able to turn it, and compared it to what it should look like and helped understand what went wrong. Where do I begin... Yuriy is absolutely amazing! Hands down, he is the most knowledgeable, friendly, hardworking, and affordable locksmith in Sacramento for programming complicated transponder keys. So let me provide some background. I needed a 2008 Lexus IS350 and a 2008 RX350 transponder key programmed. I had a master key (original) for both vehicles, and I bought reconditioned transponder keys for both cars. I was on a mission to find the most affordable price to get the keys programmed because the dealership wanted $300+ to program each key. I literally called 7 different locksmiths in the area. 2 flat out said that they could not do it because they didn't have advanced enough tools to program Lexus keys. 2 provided price quotes starting at $120 minimum, depending on how long it would take. 1 said he would only do it if I bought brand new factory keys to ensure that the process was as smooth as possible to program the keys (completely reasonable request). And finally I found one guy (I'll leave his name anonymous) who quoted me an extremely competitive price to do both keys. Mr. Anonymous came to my home and attempted to program the transponder keys for my two vehicles. An hour passes and he ends up telling me that both keys are bad and that neither ones are capable of being programmed. In the process, he almost causes the master key for my RX350 to stop working. Frustrated, I end up checking with the sellers of both keys and it's confirmed that they in fact are capable of being programmed to my vehicles, but it's not as easy as new factory keys. Finally I call Yuriy, and he quotes me a competitive price to program both keys. He drives all the way from Roseville to South Sacramento, where I am located. He takes a look at both keys and confirms that both should be fine to program. In approximately 30 minutes, he programs my IS350 key with no problems. An hour passes and he's still working on programming the RX350 key. To make a long story short, Yuriy could have given up and simply told me that the RX350 key either can't be programmed, or that it's taking too long and he can't do it. But no, Yuriy stayed for a 1.5 hours working on the key and ended up discovering that there was a blown fuse in my RX350 that was preventing my vehicle and his computer system from communicating properly. He replaces the blown fuse, gets everything working, and then successfully programs my transponder keys. To top it off, he didn't charge me a dollar more and he had a friendly smile on his face the entire time. I highly highly recommend Yuriy. Like I said to begin with-you will not find a more knowledgeable, friendly, hardworking, and affordably priced locksmith in Sacramento for programming transponder keys. read more

I was totally sold by John L.'s review so I called Yuriy to see if he can program a key for my car. I bought the spare key from ebay and it was used. I took it to the Lexus dealership and they said that used keys cannot be reprogrammed to another car. Well, they were wrong. Yuriy was able to do it! He was very efficient and courteous. He arrived promptly when he said he would, even texting me beforehand when he would arrive. I actually bought another extra key from him (just in case we loose another key).
