Since then, my garage door was back-breaking to open, and they told me there was not enough ceiling space to install an automated garage door opener. I got tired of lifting the heavy door, so I called Adam, who responded immediately and diagnosed the problem as a spring that was too small for the 90-pound door and a track that was too close to the wall. For $300, he replaced the spring with the correct size and adjusted the placement of the track. In addition to that, he said he could install an automatic opener using the front wall (not the ceiling) for $575, which he did. And so, after years of putting up with a terrible garage door, Adam has given me a garage door that is easy to open manually and which I can open with a remote. There was a nice older gentleman that came out, he was knowledgeable and efficient, in and out fairly quickly. We had one hiccup where one of the doors was getting a bit stuck when opening and closing, I let the company know and they had someone out the very next day to fix the issue. Bear in mind these doors come in a few weeks if you do special order, so prepare for that. I believe you pay half initially for a deposit and then the rest after completion. Will use again.
