I would like to share my experience with this company. My son called me early this morning with the crisis he got locked out of his house and was panicking so I called the first locksmith that popped up when I googled and it was ADI locksmith. I explained the situation they quote me a very reasonable price and locksmith was there within 15 minutes and my son was able to enter his home with peace of mine and joy to be in the comfort of his home. One star for insane pricing. I requested to get a sidewinder key copied and I was providing the key blank. And going to their physical location on Arden. $85 is what they wanted. To duplicate a physical key. No key fob, no programming. Just a physical key copy. Insane quote which should be in the $20-$30 range. $85 is absolutely insane. After I declined, they sent me a text message offering to do it for $55. Still insane. Definitely won't be doing business here. I understand that costs for everything is high these days. But almost triple what a reasonable locksmith would charge for a key copy is beyond ridiculous. read more

Friday night my slider locked me out around 9:30pm, one of my sons called this company. I was glad they came at first since I was outside in shorts and T shirt. They said be there in 20min, was longer than that but hey it's Friday night. My biggest mistake was not asking how much they would charge. To open my metal screen door and the main door right behind it took around 2 or 3 minutes. Not knocking having to charge extra for off hours BUT $406.73 to open the identically keyed two locks is price gouging plain and simple. They also charged $32. 73 for sales tax? I didn't purchase anything, there was only labor and transportation. Not saying don't use them but it would have cost me the same to break a window, then at least I'd get a new window out of the deal. ADI Lock & Key has horrible service. Had a issue with my trunk on the 30th of October. Technician by the name of Rock came out. I asked for a quote and he indicated that beyond the $29.00 service fee, he would inform me. He got the trunk open and the lock off. He Diagnosed the problem as needing pins in the tumbler. After more than 45 minutes, he received a call; once the call concluded, he informed me that he would need to go to his shop for the part(s) but he needed $100.00 and the bill was $395.00. This without informing me of any rate once the lock was off. After this, there was back and forth with the supervisor (Gil) who agreed that I should have received a rate. When I asked for the reason he did not provide me with a quote, his response was: "I forgot." Really! By this time it was 2:40pm and we began what should have been a simple job at 11:00am. I ended the service but my lock was off and I had to tie my trunk down. I eventually got "proper" service from a specialist and the bill was $100.00. Prior to the specialist doing the job correctly, I called another locksmith and they quoted me $55.00. However, by this time, the prior experience jaded my decision so the extra $50.00 was for peace of mind. I paid the $29.00 service fee and the technician didn't even have a receipt book. Par for the course in this instance. I would not allow ADI Lock & Key to fix a bicycle lock. Crappy service, unethical and could not perform the work requested. read more

Wish I read the reviews before I contacted this company. Called the company Tuesday and was asked to text pictures of my lock that I needed repaired. The guy came the same day but was over an hour late. He wasn't able to fix the lock after being there for over two hours and leaving to go to the store to try to find a lock that worked. He said he would research what locks would work and get back to me. It is now Monday and I haven't heard anything. I call the company back and they are asking me to send pictures AGAIN! Do not use this company you've been warned! We hired them to come out and program new key fobs to my 2015 Altima. Apparently the person that they sent out was not able to successfully program the keys. The owner stated that they were not the right fobs and my husband had to assist the tech with programming the remotes on THEIR computer. After they were programmed everything work except the trunk and the alarm however the car was able to start and the keys and the locks worked. My husband requested a partial refund due to the install not being fully completed being that the trunk and alarm did not work they refused. This guy! I asked for a simple thing(In June), give me a 2nd remote for the 2001 Acura I bought in April. I got the wrong remote. it won't open the trunk because it has no button for that. To his credit he tried to meet me twice after to try new remotes that did not work. Sadly I now have an original remote that he blanked, his remote that opens the doors but not trunk, and after trying to communicate with him for months, I still have no solution. Will have to go to the dealer now, which is what he promissed me I'd avoid the cost of. In the end I'll have paid him, AND the dealership to get what was only $40 less from him. If I could choose a negative star for this company I would!! Please don't let them scam you like they scammed my sister. She contacted them to change out a lock for her business. A man showed up in a unmarked vehicle had little to no answers the only thing that was certain is that in his words " it cost 1299.95 and need 200 deposit". My sister trustingly put down the deposit and 2 days later when she asked for brand name and dimensions to provide to her landlord they claimed not to have the information. She then tried asking for the manager and was sent on a wild goose chase. Basically their receptionist first claimed to be the manager then when called out on it hung up multiple times on her. Shady service guys, with less than acceptable people skills. I had this company meet me at my place of business to cut and program a key for my wife's van. The guy shows up in an unmarked vehicle, with no uniform or shop shirt. Just some random guy in a beat up car. If I wasn't in a time crunch I would have declined the service. After he did what was suppose to be a quick job, an hour later, he has the key fob working, kind of. It opened the lock and started the car, but none of the other features worked. He said it was the key fob that I purchased from the dealer. After about a week the thing stopped working all together, and the other original key which he said he needed to re-program now no longer worked either. All this for the extremely high price of $160!!!!! A quick trip to the dealer and I was in and out in about 15 minutes for less than 50 bucks.
