By 10:30 a.m., there was still no sign of him, and I had not received a call or message. When I called, the excuses kept changing. First, he said he had "lost our conversation." In the same sentence, he said they had been overbooked. He then mentioned he had his granddaughter's baby shower. The inconsistent explanations made it difficult to believe what I was being told. Instead of apologizing and taking responsibility for wasting my time, he came across as condescending and dismissive. Everyone can make mistakes, but how you handle them matters. Unfortunately, this experience reflected poor customer service, unreliability, and a lack of respect for a customer's time. I cannot recommend this business based on my experience. While that was annoying it wasn't a big deal. He quoted $150 to program and cut two keys that I had purchased from Amazon. He did the programing really quick but said he couldn't cut the keys afterall. We renegotiated for $130 because I'll have to go somewhere else to get the keys cut. Then his mobile payment and my card didn't get along. He suggested it was because I didn't have any money in my account - RUDE. I called him on that. I was not calling this man to flirt, hit on him, or do anything inappropriate--I was calling because I needed a locksmith. Apparently, his girlfriend/wife/whatever relationship they have decided to call me back and tell me to "find a new locksmith." Let me be very clear: if your personal relationship is so insecure that a woman calling your partner for a professional service becomes a problem, that is something you need to handle privately--not with customers. I have never experienced something so bizarre and unprofessional. Instead of simply providing a service, I somehow ended up being dragged into someone else's relationship drama. If you're running a business, act like a professional. Customers should not be made to feel uncomfortable or accused simply because they contacted you for a service.
