I had a great experience with Able Locksmith. I called ahead with the information for my parents' car, and when we arrived, the owner's son was ready to get started right away. We were in and out in about 30 minutes with a new key fob at a very reasonable price. They were friendly, professional, and efficient, and the whole process was much easier than I expected. I highly recommend Able Locksmith if you need a key fob or any locksmith services. read more

Fast service and friendly. Before actually jumping to replacing my car key & remote they attempted to repair it and find the issue which I appreciated. Cost was less than I expected too which was a nice surprise. read more

I walked in with six keys that I needed multiple copies of. They were able to help me with five of the keys but informed me that the sixth would be in in about a week or recommended another locksmith to use if I was in a hurry. They had an amazing assortment of different keys in their office. I kind of wished I needed more keys just so I could get some of the others that were offered. I would and will be using them again. read more

I am giving two stars only because I don't want my review removed. But this business doesn't deserve any stars. I am extremely disappointed by the lack of professionalism and consideration for a customer's time. I had an appointment scheduled for Sunday at 10:00 a.m. I work graveyard shifts 6 days a week, 12-15 hours a day, and I also care for an elderly parent. My schedule is very limited, so every appointment has to be planned carefully. I worked the night before and sacrificed much-needed sleep so I could be on time to have a replacement key fob made. By 10:30 a.m., there was still no sign of him, and I had not received a call or message. When I called, the excuses kept changing. First, he said he had "lost our conversation." In the same sentence, he said they had been overbooked. He then mentioned he had his granddaughter's baby shower. The inconsistent explanations made it difficult to believe what I was being told. Instead of apologizing and taking responsibility for wasting my time, he came across as condescending and dismissive. Everyone can make mistakes, but how you handle them matters. Unfortunately, this experience reflected poor customer service, unreliability, and a lack of respect for a customer's time. I cannot recommend this business based on my experience. Update: Thank you for proving my point. Your response is unprofessional, defensive, and unnecessarily personal. You're honestly sassier than my four-year-old granddaughter. Instead of taking accountability for a missed appointment and failing to communicate, you chose to attack the customer. Your responses to poor reviews reveals your true character far better than any eview ever could. Potential customers can read both sides and decide for themselves. For true professionalism, without the sassiness, call Instakeyz. read more

Replaced my broken key Fob. A bargain price. Friendly, efficient service. Drove 30 miles to get here and was well worth the trip.

The only locksmith I use in Sacramento. I've gotten keys made, car fobs repaired, and my house rekeyed. Excellent service and lovely people.

I needed a new car key. I was able to lget in and out of Able Smart Key & Lock in less than 15 minutes, with an affordable new key. I had come in the day before and they said they'd have to order the key because my car is a 2015, but I got a call that evening saying that he'd been able to get the key sooner than expected. They are polite, knowledgeable, and offer great value. read more

Saved me a ton of money. Honest, quick, and fair. Hard to find these days, highly recommend.

Able Smart Key & Lock not only saved the day for me, but as well my business trip, the headache a worries and a substantial amount of money. Hundreds of miles from home when I realized I didn't have my keys to my brand new travel trailer. After horrible thoughts of having to break something to get into it, Able Smart Key & Lock were not only able to make me a new key (from just a couple of pictures of the key) but they had it ready for me within minutes of my arrival!! It works better than the original ones! They made me an extra one for safe keeping and I picked me up a nice accessory to help me keep better track of my keys from there very clean and well organized store. The gentleman working there were very pleasant, professional and were keeping me informed the whole rest of my trip and these guys did not let me down. They delivered!! The best read more

I'm not someone who usually writes reviews but my experience with Able Smart Key & Lock was extraordinary, so I feel the need to do so. Initially I went there to get a duplicate key fob for my Prius. It was a long-procrastinated errand, memorable because of how pleasant it turned out. The technician was so warm and friendly and helpful. He explained everything and took care of what was needed in no time. And the price was great compared to other shops I'd called around to. Fast forward a couple years. I dashed out to my car and to my great surprise was locked out. The fob wasn't working to get me into the car; neither was my backup fob. And when I pulled out the emergency key it went only a little way into the lock. I called my mechanic: they weren't able to help at all. I called the Toyota dealership. They were even less helpful. I was getting a bit frantic. But I managed to calm myself down and that's when I remembered the guy at Able. I called and that same helpful voice answered. He asked a couple questions and immediately diagnosed the problem. A couple more questions and he provided a step by step solution. His solutions were simple and ended up costing me nothing. I was on the road again within an hour. Rarely have I felt such gratitude. Talk about customer service! read more

Located on Broadway in Oak Park, these guys are fast & well priced, with a great selection of lock & key options. Solid service.

Really happy with these guys. Needed a new FOB. Called and told them my make and model. They checked to see if they had it. He had one, but said it was not in great shape. He called me the next day to let me know he got me a good one, texted a pic to confirm it was the right one. When I got in there, they said it would be an hour, but got it done much quicker. Too quick. I did not have time to finish my chicken and waffles at Fixins. read more

Excellent response time, professional and personable. I made the mistake of passing Derrick over the first time I needed services and he spent the day fixing shoty work done by another company. Quick & reasonable. My key was badly bent and about to break. No problem for him. Thank you!!

The technician was 100% professional and friendly/ chill. I brought in a car key remote and he was able to program it to my vehicle with no issues. Had to wait for him to help another customer who was ahead of me, but he worked quickly and the short wait was not a big deal. Price was not dirt cheap, but very fair for today's going rates and much better than what dealerships charge. read more

Very knowledgeable and on the spot adaptability. Derrick was patient and was open to me asking questions while watching the process. 12/17/20 re-key newly purchased home, Elk Grove Derrick arrived promptly and wearing a mask for what seemed like a straightforward re-key and found there were no strike plates for any of the dead bolts, just a hole in the wood. He probably could've just changed the locks and moved on but he didn't. He let us know and then installed new strike plates and gave us master keys to our house so we didn't have a different key for every door. read more
