I'm not someone who usually writes reviews but my experience with Able Smart Key & Lock was extraordinary, so I feel the need to do so. Initially I went there to get a duplicate key fob for my Prius. It was a long-procrastinated errand, memorable because of how pleasant it turned out. The technician was so warm and friendly and helpful. He explained everything and took care of what was needed in no time. And the price was great compared to other shops I'd called around to. Fast forward a couple years. I dashed out to my car and to my great surprise was locked out. The fob wasn't working to get me into the car; neither was my backup fob. And when I pulled out the emergency key it went only a little way into the lock. I called my mechanic: they weren't able to help at all. I called the Toyota dealership. They were even less helpful. I was getting a bit frantic. But I managed to calm myself down and that's when I remembered the guy at Able. I called and that same helpful voice answered. He asked a couple questions and immediately diagnosed the problem. A couple more questions and he provided a step by step solution. His solutions were simple and ended up costing me nothing. 12/17/20 re-key newly purchased home, Elk Grove Derrick arrived promptly and wearing a mask for what seemed like a straightforward re-key and found there were no strike plates for any of the dead bolts, just a hole in the wood. He probably could've just changed the locks and moved on but he didn't.
