I had a few items on my "to do" list that I was procrastinating on fixing. Dealing with commercial building locking systems can be particularly niche. So locating a locksmith that meets my needs was difficult. I called two other locksmiths that couldn't get the job done. A colleague recommended MBM Locksmith and to my surprise he was available same day. Moon arrived, professional and focused on completing the task at hand. As a girlie that values quality of work at a reasonable price, I can say, I was thoroughly satisfied. I recommend 1000x over! read more

Lost my car key & fob (I own an older Honda Civic Hybrid). Moon was able to make a new one and make it work with my car harmoniously within a few hours of my reaching out for a quote on Yelp! Reasonable price, $30 lower than one competitor. He's nice to chat with while he's working but stays focused on tne task. Clean cut & trustworthy. Clean van, he worked in his van right next to my car. Took about half an hour, as he said it would. Good business! read more

Fast at responding, and quick for an appointment! He was able to replace the locks on two safes that came with our house. Was the most affordable of all of the locksmiths that I reached out to on Yelp. Thanks! read more

I requested quotes for getting into my bedroom door, as I don't have a key and it's a keyed lock. Moon, the locksmith, was very prompt in responding to a quote request. He opened the door in under 5 minutes, and he also rekeyed the lock in addition to that, combined, for less than the other quotes I received. I will call Moon if I run into this problem again. read more

Quick and efficient. Took apart the lock and replaced it without issue. Very happy with the service.

I reached out to a lot of locksmiths and Moon was the only one who said he could make me a "do not duplicate" copy to keep at my remodel. I appreciate him coming out quickly and getting the job done. He will be my first call if I ever need a locksmith in the future. read more

Great experience. Moon was quick to communicate pricing and options, helped me decide on a course of action to fit our lock needs (eloping toddler), responsive when contacted, kept me updated on arrival times and project completion timing. Despite running over on another job, he still came through and did excellent work at my residence to ensure we had what we needed the day we had scheduled for, which my family really appreciated. I would be happy to use this business again for any of our locksmithing needs. read more

I had a small job that I had been putting off because I just didn't want to deal with it, except I should have called much sooner because working with Moon was extremely easy. Made the appointment over text, he was extremely responsive, professional, and of course did a great job. There are a lot of options on yelp for locksmith services, this is one that you can feel secure (see what I did there) hiring. read more

Worked w/ Moon on getting all of the locks rekeyed at my rental. He was super efficient, and gave me a good deal on getting 10 locks done. BTW, the prices for all these locksmiths are per lock and not per door. My bad. Since my locks are a smartkey, I'll be redoing them myself the next time I need new keys. read more

Prompt and responsive with excellent service. Reasonably priced to boot! Just what you want from your locksmith.

Requested for a quote for lock picking and got a call back within 5 minutes. He quoted us over the phone and met at our residency within 20-30 minutes. Just a heads up, the fee is per lock! Super quick service as needed! So thankful he was able to help us as fast as he did! read more

The owner is a very nice and respectful guy who did high quality work at a every fair price and worked diligently to give me a satisfactory experience. Quick same-day service with competitive pricing. Even did keys for an additional vehicle on the spot.

I lost physical keys to our home's keypad entry lock and needed them replaced because we were renting it out to a new tenant. I thought I'd have to buy a whole new lock but luckily found MBM locksmith because rather than paying $250 for a whole new lock I was able to just have a new set of keys made. He showed up quickly, on time, and took about 5 minutes to give two fresh new keys at a great price. Super communicative, super nice, and would recommend to anyone needing locksmith services! read more

The owner responded to my request for a quote immediately and was able to come to my house the same day to replace and reprogram my key fob. The process took about 10 minutes and the owner is very professional. The price was very fair. read more

Moon resolved a nearly impossible issue. Our glass slider, double hook mortise lock, was stuck in the locked position. We were told, by another locksmith, that we would have to replace our entire sliding door along with a new lock in order to fix this, (potentially costing us $$$). Thankfully, Moon came to the rescue! He successfully removed the stuck lock and I was able to replace it with a new mortise lock I found online and install it myself. Thank you x 1000 Moon. read more

Mike was timely, awesome and trustworthy. Great communication and suggestions. I highly recommend this business!

I proactively scheduled a whole house rekey 6 weeks ago (July 18) with MBM locksmith as I knew he would be busy on the day I needed my house rekeyed. On the scheduled day (9/3), I called to make sure he was coming and he totally forgot about my appointment. He asked me if I could choose another time, but he did eventually show up 20 minutes late for our scheduled time. He arrived and changed 4 locks and a mailbox lock for the agreed price for 8 locks and a mailbox lock. He told me to go to Lowes to make additional copies of the key because his van with the key cutter was broken. Lowes can't dupe the mail box key, so I'm out of luck there. Overall, unreliable and overpriced. read more

Very honest and great service. I was running late and the technician waited for me. Also the project ended up being larger and more expensive than originally expected but they were understanding and told me that it wasn't a high priority but to call them when I was ready to do the project. read more

While selling my last home, I had a sliding glass door near the kitchen whose lock had broken many years ago but needed to be fixed per the terms of sale. Well, of course I procrastinated until the final week when, after attempting to fix this myself, I only made things worse and lost the mechanism inside the door. Help! I called Moon and he was able to come the very next day, even though it was the 4th of July. We lifted out the door and he proceeded to make the whole thing look easy. Worth every penny. With that, the door was fixed and the new buyers now won't go through 6 years of using a piece of wood to keep the door closed. :-) Why didn't I call him sooner?? read more

MBM Locksmith - The old lock before I unscrewed it and it promptly fell to the bottom of the door frame. Oops. - Keys & Locksmiths Near Me

Accidentally locked my keys in my car, and business that responded gave me a quote of $120-140 with 30+ minute show up time -- Except Moon at MBM. He arrived in less than 15 mins and had gave an unbeaten quote. He was friendly and it took him less than 2 minutes to help me out, and didn't damage my car door. Paid him via Venmo and we were done. Yes, I highly recommend. read more

Moon was quick and friendly! Would definitely work with him again - but hopefully no more locking myself out of my car.

I had to block him and tell him that I would call the cops if he didn't leave the premises. I will preface this by saying I am also part at fault, this review is more of a safety concern. When I created a project on yelp, I was met with multiple responses. He responded to me and he said that he would call me in the morning. So today, a locksmith came out and did the work. I thought it was him, but it was not. Honest mistake, I didn't mean anything malicious. I told him the situation and immediately he turned very angry. He called me over and over, which is understandable but he goes and threatens me (im at a middle school btw) and says he's not leaving the premises until I give him money. It made me feel like I needed to stay there as long as possible. It scared me knowing he may come out of nowhere on the way to the car. I waited 5 hours until I left. Anyway, that is my story. I made a mistake with communication and I'm still sorry about it. To owner, you have raving reviews so I know you must be talented, I'm sorry for any miscommunication but I'm also sorry for this review because I had to make it. Edit: My review stands. You did not say you were 100% coming. Like I said - we were at a middle school and you threatened me about not leaving the middle school for a service that was not booked. That is not the time and place. There's kids!!!! Sorry for the miscommunication, but I accept my wrongs and you need to too. read more
