Moon resolved a nearly impossible issue. Our glass slider, double hook mortise lock, was stuck in the locked position. We were told, by another locksmith, that we would have to replace our entire sliding door along with a new lock in order to fix this, (potentially costing us $$$). Thankfully, Moon came to the rescue! He successfully removed the stuck lock and I was able to replace it with a new mortise lock I found online and install it myself. I proactively scheduled a whole house rekey 6 weeks ago (July 18) with MBM locksmith as I knew he would be busy on the day I needed my house rekeyed. On the scheduled day (9/3), I called to make sure he was coming and he totally forgot about my appointment. He asked me if I could choose another time, but he did eventually show up 20 minutes late for our scheduled time. He arrived and changed 4 locks and a mailbox lock for the agreed price for 8 locks and a mailbox lock. He told me to go to Lowes to make additional copies of the key because his van with the key cutter was broken. Lowes can't dupe the mail box key, so I'm out of luck there. I had to block him and tell him that I would call the cops if he didn't leave the premises. I will preface this by saying I am also part at fault, this review is more of a safety concern. When I created a project on yelp, I was met with multiple responses. He responded to me and he said that he would call me in the morning. So today, a locksmith came out and did the work. I thought it was him, but it was not. Honest mistake, I didn't mean anything malicious. I told him the situation and immediately he turned very angry. He called me over and over, which is understandable but he goes and threatens me (im at a middle school btw) and says he's not leaving the premises until I give him money. It made me feel like I needed to stay there as long as possible. It scared me knowing he may come out of nowhere on the way to the car. I waited 5 hours until I left. Anyway, that is my story. I made a mistake with communication and I'm still sorry about it. To owner, you have raving reviews so I know you must be talented, I'm sorry for any miscommunication but I'm also sorry for this review because I had to make it. Edit: My review stands. Moon is a life saver, I had contacted 5 other people to look at this specific door and try to fix and every one of the locksmiths that tried to fix this door suggested I just replace the door which will take 5-7 weeks due to this specific door needing to be custom made and costing around $5000.
