I met with Mo at his shop and gave him 3 keys to make copies of. After I texted him my address, he told me he would have the keys ready and deliver them to my home the next day. He gave me a price of $102 total. After waiting the morning and afternoon of the next day, I called him and asked him what time he was coming. He replied that he was on his way. An hour later he did not show and again I called and he said he would stop by when he is in the area later at night. He never showed that day and for the next two weeks I called him daily with him giving me excuses each call for not standing me up continuously. There were times he told me he would send one of his technicians to drop off the keys. I was told to meet him at his shop twice and he never showed up and I was on time. After the first week I told him I just wanted my keys back and he told me he would not charge me and still give me the copies of the keys he said he made. After the next week I finally met with him and got my original keys back. He said the copies he left in his other vehicle that is at a shop and he would get the vehicle back in two days then he would call me to give them to me. He never called me since our last meeting and it has been a month. Even though he didn't charge me this was the most horrible experience I have been through with a company. Please buy your own locked car door kit from Amazon for 40 bucks and leave it at home. I tend to keep my keys in my hand because I don't carry purses and I left them in the trunk with my groceries. I am out of work because of this pandemic and have a little cash that is supposed to last for 2 months. But he didn't give me a break. To unlock a car shouldn't be that much. Called on June 15 at 11pm for a lock change. Locksmith quotes me at 105 and says he will be here in 15 min. 2 hours later shows up and tells me it will be 140 because it's a smart lock. After he is finished he tells me it's actually 185 because he had to replace both locks. Gives me one key and leaves. Now i am locked out of my house because THE KEYS DONT WORK ON THE DOOR. Text him and no response. I call and he says he can't fix it and refuses to give my money back. How are you not going to fix a lock that you changed that does not work?? I originally contacted Mo at EZ Key Locksmith July 27th. Mo is a very unprofessional locksmith who took my money and ran. I would recommend looking for a certified locksmith before going to Mo. *Update the new immobilzer unit that I installed was not aftermarket, it was OEM. You only offered to return my money after I left a publuc yelp review. I had informed Mo my immobilizer unit on my 2005 Honda Civic was damaged, the entire ignition cylinder was replaced and I needed the keys reflashed. Mo was unable to reflash the keys when he arrived and said the replaced immobilizer unit would not work with the machine he brought to make the keys. Mo charged me $ 60 and told me he would return the next day with a different machine that could solve my issue. The next day passed and Mo never showed up. The next day I contacted him seeing what happened and he gave me an excuse that his truck was drilled into and he had to deal with police. He told me he would be there the next night around 8pm. The next day Mo never came. He kept giving me excuses on why he couldnt make it to my house instead of telling me he could not help me. I found the certified locksmiths over at Keyworx who were able to fix my key problem in less than 15 mins. read more

Although the initial service was fantastic I still have a door that they refused to return to repair. In all fairness I believe the company was scared off when my ex tried to subpoena them to court to account for their charges. I also used an individual they recommend it to install my security cameras. Later I discovered individual is bits and pieces of scrap wiring of all different categories for my cameras. After an exchange back and forth where he essentially blames me, he says he'll be there personally at 10am the following day. Trying to give them the benefit of the doubt I accept and wait for them today to show up at 10am. 11am today. No show. I text again. The owner says "the tech is almost there". 30 minutes later, I text again, "they called you at 10:05, why don't you answer your phone?" EXCUSE ME? No one called me.... and the audacity to blame me, yet again. Several more texts from the owner are all accusatory, rude and extremely unprofessional.
