Communication was terrible, and I felt like I was being gaslighted throughout the process. I confirmed an appointment with Roy for July 1, 2026, at 9:00 AM. He had my address and even reconfirmed the appointment by text the day before. During our initial phone call, Roy quoted me $180 for a replacement key. While on that call, he asked me to send a photo of my existing key fob so he knew exactly what I needed. Then, when I confirmed the appointment the day before, he suddenly changed the price to $250, claiming the $180 price was for a key without a remote. We never discussed a non-remote key, and he had already seen a photo of my key fob. I considered canceling at that point, but I didn't want to start over with another locksmith. The next morning, I waited for my 9:00 AM appointment. I texted him and received no response. My messages showed as SMS (green bubbles), so I wondered if his phone was off. At 9:27 AM, I called, and it went straight to voicemail. He never showed up and never contacted me. Around 11:20 AM, Roy started calling me and claimed he had been trying to text me at 9:00 AM. That simply wasn't true. His phone appeared to have been off all morning, and regardless, he already had my address. If he intended to keep the appointment, he could have simply shown up. No call, no text, no courtesy, and then an attempt to shift the blame. That's not how a professional business should operate. Save yourself the frustration and find a locksmith who communicates honestly and respects your time.

Avoid this company…read more My mother accidentally locked herself out of her home after misplacing both her house key and her vehicle key fob. Her car was unlocked, so she waited there with her dog while waiting for EZ Key Locksmith. The first appointment was well over an hour late, and it took multiple calls just to get updates on when the technicians would arrive. When they finally arrived, they unlocked the house so she could get back inside. They then charged her $500 upfront, broken down on the invoice as: * $50 service call * $50 labor * $200 replacement key * $200 replacement key fob They told us they needed to return to their shop to make and program the replacement key and fob and promised to return by 11:00 p.m. They never came back. After repeated calls, we were told they would arrive by 1:30 a.m. At 12:41 a.m., we received a text saying the technician had a flat tire and would instead arrive by 4:00 a.m. After that, communication stopped. I made numerous calls and sent multiple text messages trying to find out what was happening. When I finally advised them that I would be leaving an honest review if they failed to return, I received a phone call. The caller told me he was "pissed off," said they would not complete the replacement key and key fob service, promised that my mother's $500 would be refunded, and told me not to contact his phone again. As of today, no refund has been issued, and the replacement key and key fob were never provided. We had to hire another locksmith to complete the work. While they did unlock the house, they accepted payment for a replacement key and key fob that they never delivered, promised a refund that never arrived, and then stopped communicating. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this company.

On top of that, the gated community we're in has strict speed limits with cameras and signs posted everywhere. They drove almost 20 mph over the limit and we got hit with a ticket for $220 since they were our "guest". He denied it was him and lied even after I showed him the picture the cameras took of his vehicle, and the receipt, which confirmed it was him. Then he said he would call the community office and get the ticket removed; that never happened. So do yourself a favor and stay away from these guys. They are scammers and liars. STAY AWAY!!!!

He spent less than 10 minutes swiping something inside to release the inside latch - realistically we probably could have looked up how to do this on YouTube. The technician was kind and efficient but GOOD GOD, do not hire these people unless you want to just light your wallet on fire. I reached out to Unlimited Locksmith and was paired with Ahmed, who was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Ahmed quoted me $120-$150 to repair the lock, which was already far more reasonable than another locksmith I had called earlier. That previous company (Wolf&Key) told me the lock was "broken from the inside" and claimed the repair would be complicated--quoting $350 to replace the lock with a new key, or an outrageous $500 if I wanted to keep my original key. Ahmed proved all of that wrong. He arrived quickly, was extremely responsive and communicative, and stuck to his original quote. I ended up paying $150, kept my same key, and didn't need an entirely new lock. He took the time to explain what was actually wrong, including how many internal plates were damaged and what he needed to replace. His knowledge, skill, and attention to detail were obvious. I'm incredibly happy I decided to go with Unlimited Locksmith. Professional, honest, fair pricing, and truly skilled--Ahmed saved me hundreds of dollars and a ton of stress. If you're looking for a reliable mobile locksmith, Unlimited Locksmith is definitely the one to call. I'll gladly use their services again in the future.
