As always the owner is so sweet and stopped to check on how we liked everything, and welcomed us to the new location. We had a family emergency after just getting back from vacation so we were at crouse for a while after barely eating that day. I needed something quick and filling and found hi tea just searching for what was still open. Mobile ordered it and walked right over. They had just finished my drink and were finishing up the food. Very quick turn around which was great probably 15 minutes. The aesthetic of the store is adorable powder pink seating and lots of stuffed animals. The employees are super nice and friendly too. My milk tea was delicious and the sweet treat I needed, loved the cold foam they put on it and I got to decide the sugar level which I chose 50% and that was still very sweet. The rice noodles were delicious, perfect chewy consistency and great flavor. There was lots of shrimp and pork, I gave half to my boyfriend. I ordered bbq pork rice rolls which were great and a lean duck burger with lettuce, onion, fried egg, duck breast and hoisin sauce was also a winner. I will waste no time. I have been wanting to come in here for a long time but I am always in a hurry to catch the bus. But today I was finally able to come in and I must absolutely love it!!!! Came here for a treat after work & I had such a great experience! The workers were all friendly and attentive. The inside was clean & everyone was following social distancing rules, even in this semi-small shop. The prices are good, the quality is great! I got their Mango Sabo with Pomelo drink - refreshing & light. My fiancé got their Oreo Cheesecake drink - tastes just like an Oreo, a bit more tart which we both liked! Stopped by for a quick boba randomly. I ordered the milk taro under the recommendation of the worker. My friend ordered the bursting dragon fruit and kiwi basil green tea. The milk taro tea was served hot with chunks of cooked taro. Really hit the spot for a cold December day. The place has some card games for people to hang out, connect four, playing cards and cards against humanity. Great place to hang out, study or grab a quick drink. BOWO: Best Option When Stranded (in Syracuse) They've gotten better but there has still been times where the drinks are made off - not flavored enough. [EDITED since last visit] Opened up last week replacing the old sushi place on Marshall. Interior was designed to be aesthetically pleasing & decorated as best as they could based off location & target customers as college students don't really look too deeply into every aspect of the teahouse (like the fact that the ceilings aren't covered - you can see pipes and stuff). The walls are nicely covered with posters showing off the the drinks & food they offer however it'd be nicer if both posters were the same color (pink) so they can pair up nicely with the pink couch and everything else. I got the rose oolong tea with sea salt milk foam & it was pretty good. But the tea didn't have the rose taste - I wish it was a stronger taste since you can barley tell that it's rose. The price is pretty decent for a tea shop on Marshall where everyone usually goes. I also got the golden curry fish balls. It was overpriced considering there was only 8 pieces. The fishball also tasted more like fish cake because of the texture. But the curry sauce was pretty good. I would definitely come back as I feel like I'm getting more authentic stuff here compared to Unique Tea House, which is also on the same street. read more

FC is located on the proximal end of the plaza in relation to the strip (sorry, anatomy lingo has overtaken my life) There is a slight ramp walking into the store, becareful not to trip or miss step... there are 5 tables with half booth seats and half chairs that are not very structured or sturdy (beware if you are over 150 lbs) The decor is random but cute, they have card games and board games. did not see many electrical outlets. Music choice is top 40s.. The price is a little steep compared to the other options if you're going to add toppings to your drink. I've had: lightly roasted oolong with milk, classic black milk tea, and jasmine green tea. Every drink has been pretty good. If you have a senstivity for sweetness, you'll probably want 50% sugar level. My friend has tried the soy sauce claypot chicken, she states that it was good but there wasn't enough chicken compared to bone. (typical) in my opinion, the matcha mille crepe is comparable to lady M, but only because we are stranded in syracuse with no other option. 8.5/10 would recommend read more

This location is placed conveniently around other restaurants and shops so it's a great spot to stop by after having a meal. I came around 1:30 on a Tuesday evening and luckily for around 2 hours it stayed empty and quiet. I know that during later hours it would probably be a little more hectic since students would be getting out a little later during the day. However, during the quiet hours it's a great place to get some work done and hangout with a friend. The bubble teas ice level and sugar level is adjustable to your taste. I have no complaints abour the milk tea and the tapioca. They also serve hot foods like rice rolls, clay pot rice, Roast duck rice, etc. It's a great place to get some boba and I'd come here whenever I'm around. read more

I feel compelled to write this review after my recent visit to Feng Cha. I have been going regularly for a while and always have a great time. The staff is fantastic and the tea is the best in Syracuse. However, this past weekend I noticed a beta fish being housed in an incredibly undersized "bowl" (see attached photo). I am sure that the owners are just unaware but the condition in which they are keeping this fish is cruel. According to the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, beta fish should be housed in a "5-gallon glass or plastic tank or larger" with a low-flow filter and temperature control. Again, I am sure that the owners are just uniformed as they probably purchased a product marketed as a habitat for beta fish, however beta fish specific products are notoriously too small and not properly filtered. Kept in the current condition the water quality will be difficult or impossible to maintain and toxins can build up leading to immunosuppression and other diseases. Again, I really enjoy the service and quality of Feng Cha but I hate to see an animal needlessly suffering. I am posting this review in hopes that the owners see it and either rehome the fish or create an appropriate habitat for it at which point I will gladly change my review to a well-deserved 5 stars. It is important to remember that fish are sentient and should not be used as decoration with no consideration to their well-being. I encourage the owners to look into the bevy of information on proper beta fish care available online. When the beta fish is cared for humanely and compassionately customers will be able to admire the beauty of the fish in a way that is respectful to the animal. read more

They are located at the ever so popular Marshall street and they are most definitely a welcome edition there. We now once again have 2 fantastic choices for boba on the hill. (We miss you Bobba Suite). Right when you walk in here you will absolutely love the decode. It's extremely cute and decorated to be inviting. While there is no probably walking in and leaving with your tea, I recommend having a seat and hanging with friends. What a great addition to Syracuse! I wouldn't and couldn't complain if Syracuse had 800 boba places. I really cannot get enough milk tea. This place sells a lot more than just bubble tea. They have egg tarts, crepe cake, clay pot chicken and pork dishes, and much more. I tried the rose oolong tea with taro foam, the lychee oolong tea with cheese foam topping and the matcha crepe cake. I thought the crepe cake was great because the layers of crepe were super thin. I liked that you could really adjust the level of sweetness with your drinks. The interior has window bar-style seating and tables that fit around 4 people. They have board games inside for you to borrow too. Parking is difficult since this place is located around the university campus. I loved that they had durian topping as an option. This is the only milk tea place so far that does the cheese foam-style milk teas. I liked the cute little squishy toys they had on the tables and the lamps that had kawaii faces. I am not a tea person to start but when I saw they had a strawberry tea I thought I'd try it. It was sweet with a semi strong tea background flavor. I could get used to it honestly.
