This is a place I have been to many times prior. In the past month, I have bought over 250 dollars worth of meals. I accidentally ordered the wrong drink today. I ordered a "jasmine green milk tea." However, I meant to order a taichi green milk tea. Due to this miscommunication, the worker put that I ordered a "Jasmine milk tea." When I explained the situation, they would not give me the drink I wanted to order. Even after I showed the manager my Uber Eats evidence that I only order the "taichi green milk tea." (X7 orders in past 2.5 weeks, all including "taichi green milk tea" and not "jasmine milk tea." I bought a side seaweed salad, ramen, and boba. With tip my total was 34(pricey!!!) and change. I was told that if I had come up to the register and said I didn't like the flavor, the drink likely would have been replaced to the drink of my choice but since I said the word "jasmine" they would not replace it. In my entire life, I have honestly never encountered a staff/manager that were so unreasonable. I regret including tip. This is a basic non-issue in any other restaurant business establishment. I would recommend Hi Tea, Mr Noodle and Mrs Dumpling, for those looking for boba/ramen spots. Cake bar downtown also has good boba. Surely, there is normal customer service at these restaurants. Very weird experience because it was frustrating but comedic at the same time. I will never be coming back to this location again.

I really do love the decor. They have bubble tea, create your own sushi and poke bowl. I got the bubble tea. It was good not as good as back home but it did the trick. There aren't a lot of restaurants and choices around here so I would recommend. Staff were friendly and there was quick service.

This Tai Chi Bubble Tea is a spacious casual eatery hangout with plenty of comfy seats for groups, boardgames, several photo areas including one in the bathroom hall because why not, cute pandas for sale, and the best bites like bubble tea, ramen, customized sushiritos and poke bowls. Friendly service. My only deduction is on account of the bubble tea being powder based and the high rice ratio in the sushirito. But the tapioca was excellent so really 4.5 stars.

    sewage colored matcha

So I went to Tai Chi Bubble Tea thinking I was about to have a cute little matcha moment... and it was literally the worst bubble tea I've ever had in my life. It tasted like straight water -- no flavor, no sweetness, just nasty brownish-green liquid that looked like sewage runoff. I wish I was exaggerating. We spent $45 total, and my drink was so bad I didn't even touch it after the first sip. I went up to the counter, super polite, and said I wasn't happy with my matcha and asked if they could fix it or swap it for something else. The guy wouldn't even make eye contact and goes, "Not really anything I can do." I said, "You can't do anything? Not even trade it out?" and then the woman jumps in and says, "Matcha at bubble tea places usually tastes like grass," and shrugs. Sorry, but this didn't taste like grass. It tasted like diarrhea water. It looked disgusting, completely separated, watery, and undrinkable. And when I tried to show them, they just stared at me like I was the problem. No apology, no remake, nothing. It was 8pm on a Friday night and the place was empty. Now I know why. If this is how they treat customers, they're lucky anyone walks in at all. Don't waste your time or money here -- unless you like your bubble tea tasting like pond water and being told that's "just how it is."

Good boba tea! I stopped in for a minute to get a refreshing iced boba tea on one of the hot days in Syracuse recently. I got iced black tea with mango flavors and tapioca boba. It was very refreshing. I usually get teas unsweetened with no added sugar or syrup, but I forgot to ask this time. Even though I forgot to ask for it unsweetened, I thought it wasn't overly sweet. I'd recommend! I went in the late afternoon on a Friday and it was not busy.

Very good food that was ready very fast. Ordered the spicy miso ramen with pork and it was very nice. My buddy got the rice bowl with pork and that was very good as well. The food was delivered minutes after ordering and staff was very friendly. We chose to eat at the restaurant, which was a good experience, very well lit and clean. My only complaint would be the lack of reusable utensils, which I was a little disappointed in. Overall a great experience though and I would highly recommend after seeing a show at the Syracuse Stage across the street.

Spicy tuna brown rice bowl at Tai Chi- get the spicy mayo sauce!!

The food, the service, the pricing are all fantastic! I ordered a rice bowl with spicy tuna and just about every free topping and it was delicious and hearty enough to split over 2 meals! The gentleman behind the counter was so friendly and gave me some extra spicy mayo, which I greatly appreciated as it was delicious. I can't wait to come back and try the bubble tea- prices are the most reasonable I have seen just about anywhere!

One of my go to places when I'm coming home from a long day of school. The inside is very nice and spacious. They have a lot of seating. They also have a corner and large tables to play board games. I think it's a very good hang out spot for students. The service was good, the staff is very friendly. I got the regular tonkotsu ramen (they also have a spicy version). The broth is so flavorful, it's a pork bone broth and has this rich smoky flavor to it. I get it with the pork and it's the perfect pairing, there is other protein options as well. the quality and quantity is very good. It comes with 3 slices of decent size pork pieces, bamboo which is very crunchy and not soft, fish cake, and a egg. The egg is perfect, still very yolky. I would definitely recommend this ramen if you like a more creamy broth. I also get the green passion fruit tea with tapioca. It is a perfect mix, it's not to sweet and very good. The tapioca was chewy, I'm not sure if they cook it in a syrup it doesn't have much sweetness to them. I have try their version of the brown sugar milk tea boba. Unfortunately I was not a big fan, it was just like milk. I wish they add more of the brown sugar in the drink to make it more sweet. Overall the prices were average, it was around $17 for the ramen and around $6 for a small, $7 for a large for the bubble tea (I think the bubble tea is a little to pricy). Other than that, I really enjoy their ramen, mostly on a cold day. I would love to try their other selections.

We were headed to a show at Syracuse Stage and only had time to grab something quick. We spotted this place right up the road and decided to run over. The place was very clean and had a great air about it. We quickly ordered a couple of poke bowls and were able to get back to the theater in time for the show. In and out in 15 minutes!! The food was amazing! We both ordered ones that were suggested on the order sheet because that was easiest. All fresh ingredients and very tasty! I would definitely recommend this place and plan on going back to give their ramen a try when I have more time. Delicious and healthy. I'm dieting and this totally fit into my plan. Super excited to have found this place!

We enjoyed the boba and the wide selection they have. I heard good things about this place from family and friends so I had to try it. We had gotten it delivered and it came in a timely manner. Only wished we actually went there to experience the place since I've read about how cute the space is. Also looking forward to trying some of the food as well. What we ordered: - Tai Chi Original Milk Tea - Taro Milk Tea - Honeydew Milk Tea - Strawberry Milk Tea - Passionfruit Green Tea

Visited for the first time the other day - Absolutely gorgeous space, perfect to capture aesthetic photos of some of the most delicious food I've had in Syracuse! I chose the create your own option, specifically with the spicy tuna and crab meat - it was YUMMY! Very fresh ingredients, very good service.

Make no mistake I read a review of this place and that's what inspired me to go because I saw the purples more me to order. What I didn't expect was that unfortunate the parking around here is terrible but it will not determine from coming back because oh my goodness what is the food amazing and you get your dollars worth for a poke bowl the Thai tea was delicious the Macarons were delicious as well the staff was friendly ready to help and the place was impeccably clean very cute plenty of seating I just parked in the wrong spot because I couldn't find parking but it was worth the risk I'll happily return!

So excited I've found a new bubble tea place around here since my fav spot closed due to Covid. This is some of the most comparable boba in the city. I loved my chocolate taro smoothie. Not bad for pricing either. They also offer food. You can build your own rice bowl, salad, or sushi burrito. I opted for a rice bowl and it was delicious! Everything was fresh. The atmosphere is awesome too. Clean, quiet, with a nice modern aesthetic. Great spot!

Interior is cute, quiet and clean. They have karaoke downstairs. The tempura was good, light and fresh. The fried chicken wings - cheese were disappointing. I have ordered this type of chicken wing from other restaurants in the past and it is always a cheese type of powder the coats it. This was cheese melted on top, not even a sauce or powder,, and that does make a difference for the dish as it had no flavor. I have seen cheese melted on top of spicy wings before but this also was not that. It was disappointing especially for the price ($24.99). Overcooked and dry.

Glad I stayed. Despite its name, the sushi was so-so. Think of this place as a Korean restaurant. Almost all of the patrons were speaking Korean. The beef bibimbop in a stone bowl was great. The stone bowl was unusual in that it was very flat which created a better , I'm not sure what the right word in Korean is, crispy rice layer (what they call soccarrat with paella). There is a parking lot nearby as well as some street parking, but it's something to keep in mind before your visit. I believe they offer an all-you-can-eat special for around $27.99 on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and on Tuesdays and Thursdays many menu items are half off. I visited on a Thursday and took full advantage of the half-off specials. I arrived about 40 minutes before closing, and as other guests left, I ended up being the only person in the restaurant. Honestly, it made for a great experience. The music was a fun mix of house music and R&B, and I found myself dancing in my seat while enjoying my meal. The staff was attentive without being overbearing. They checked on me when needed but also gave me space to relax and enjoy my food. The cook also came over and talked with me for a while and made some suggestions on what he thought I would like. Amazing ! Because everything was half off, my eyes were definitely bigger than my stomach! I ordered several different items and was completely full by my second plate. Most dishes come as small plates with two to four pieces, making it easy to try a variety of items. One of the coolest parts of the experience was the conveyor belt system. Once your food is prepared, it's sent down the conveyor belt to your seat. Since I was the only customer there, it was easy to know which dishes were mine. I'd be interested to see how it works during busier hours. I honestly can't remember everything I ordered, but I enjoyed almost all of it. My least favorite item was the sweet potato roll--it wasn't bad, just not my personal favorite. Everything else was fresh, flavorful, and worth trying. Overall, I had a really good time and will definitely be back, especially on a half-off day. Great food, great music, and a fun dining experience. You don't have much time to review the info sheet so figure out what things are before it passes you by, and you do have to eat it if you touch the plate. It's kind of a fun game to play! We enjoyed a nice lunch with fresh sushi created by the sushi chefs behind the counter, of course. It's a peaceful place to go when there's only few people in there. But, I could see it being loud if there were a packed house in there. I wouldn't say it's the best sushi I ever had, but it's fun for the novelty of it for sure.

The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because in the last year or so I've noticed some popular rolls and dishes like chirashi and California rolls have been prepared ahead of time. They're very cold, right out of the fridge, like sushi from Wegmans. I'm sure they were made that day, and I get they're trying to save some time, especially for the labor-intensive chirashi, but you can't taste it as well when it's cold like that. So I recommend sticking with some of the special rolls. We had a couple of the new ones today after they revamped their menu and they were very good.
