These guys are delicious. They have taro smoothies. Don't Yell At Me doesn't. It was a chill environment very bright but the service was odd. The menu and ordering was weird and some people seemed to like to play around on the digital menu. Long enough to get frustrated. read more

Best boba tea I've had!! Very flavorful and not too sweet. Really good taro and ube milk teas, plus the tapioca was cooked justtttt right. Will definitely be coming back! read more

SO delicious! Fast, affordable, and super friendly! Pleasant and homey. We got Mango Sago Pomelo, Pineapple Green Tea, and waffle fries. All were amazing! Can't wait to come back and try more flavors! read more

Hi Tea Cafe is my favorite cafe in town. I love all of the drinks here, especially with the cream topping! I've tried most of the snacks here and they are all delicious. The service is always amazing and the atmosphere is chill and relaxing. I wish they were located closer to where I live, but I make sure to visit every time I am in the Capitol Hill area! read more

Cute milk tea cafe with lots of seating for good conversations with friends. They have wifi too! The drinks are good. They have fruit tea and the cream foam type of milk tea too. You can choose how much ice and how sweet you want it. I've heard that their drinks tend to run on the sweeter side, so you might not want to choose 100% sweetness. (Ask the cashier what they recommend.) This cafe is right across the street from the Capitol Hill link light rail station. The interior design is minimal and decorated with lots of white and light colors. Wish I remembered to take a photo! Random: The bathroom sink is very unique. Water flows out over a glass disk into a leaf bowl. Hard to describe. But if you pee there, I bet you'll see it and also say "Oh how interesting!" read more

Staff was super nice and helpful. The interior is very cute+aesthetically pleasing and full of inspirational quotes and decor. The tea was pretty standard. I got the three brothers milk tea (signature milk tea+pudding+boba) at 50% sweet which was still pretty sweet. Not worth the price but still a really nice place to just hang out! read more

I love this place! I normally order a white peach oolong with boba and I'm normally pretty satisfied. The egg puffs are nice too! Mildly sweet and delicious! Friendly service, relaxing environment. I miss Tea Republik, but this is a great replacement. A spot of relaxation on the Hill! read more

I feel like I'm in an Asian drama when I walked into this place. The ambience reminded me of that. I do appreciate that you can customized your tea with the sweetness level as well as temperature. We also tried their egg puffs which I thought was ok. I think if you take off the sweet toppings, you will notice the puffs are not that flavorful. As a snack it does the trick. read more

There is a good variety of boba available at this place and the interior is very well lit with cool decors. However, the drinks were average. I got the brown sugar milk boba and it tasted like regular milk with no additional flavoring. I enjoyed hanging out here with my friends since it has a nice ambience but there is definitely room for improvement on the drinks read more

I've tried several places with boba tea and this one has its own features. I would agree with some of the reviews before - their tea is generally not freezing cold and not as strong as at some other places - which is good to me as I can still feel the flavor and can drink it before bad not worrying about being too caffeinated. The staff has been super friendly so far :) Keep on! read more

I was thrifting in the neighborhood and walked across this gem. I adore boba and the Thai iced teas back in California, so I decided to try this cafe out. I am so glad I did, the Thai iced tea with boba beads was very satisfying for a warm day. I enjoyed the esthetic of the tea cafe. If I were you, I would stop in here for a refreshing boba tea! read more

Tried the cream foam earl grey tea, which I thought would be similar to Sharetea's creama drinks. It was in terms of the drink, but not in terms of the lids. With most shops' cream foam drinks, you sip from the top so you can get a mix of both the cream and the tea. With Yoyo's, you drink with a straw, so it didn't quite mix consistently. Regardless, the drink itself tasted alright. Since they offered sugar level adjustments, I asked the cashier how their drinks compared with other shops' sweetness levels. The cashier told me she didn't know, since she doesn't generally drink bubble tea. That's okay, but it would have helped if the staff knew their drinks enough to be able to make recommendations. I ended up going with 70%, and it was actually still pretty sweet. Would definitely recommend adjusting it down! read more

I'm perfectly happy. The decor is whatever, a little too target-catalogue, but I'm not here for selfies: I'm here for the tea. With so many similar spots around, why does this one get 4 stars? Very simple: it was immediately offered to me to set the sweetness level of my tea. In fact, it was required of my order, no defaults here. The scale is 100%/70%/50%/30%/0%. I chose passion fruit tea at 50% with mango boba (don't @ me) and it was absolutely perfect. I could also set my ice amount (more/normal/less/none) - I chose normal since it's a pretty warm day for October, and it was just right, maybe even slightly less than I expected (in a good way). All it would take to get 5 stars from me would be a sugar substitute on offer. They have soy/almond milk, but only real sugar. The passion fruit tea was very yummy, a very nice mild bitterness on the tongue, and the bursting boba gave me a great sweet punch of extra fruitiness. If they ever get hibiscus tea, it'll be true love! read more

Saw this newly opened business in Capitol Hill, and was instantly attracted by the white color of it. Comfy sofa and tables near the wall, and decent decoration. Really loved the vibe here. Different types of drink in their menu, both in English and Chinese. I tried the Yoyo cream milk tea with boba, had it no without ice and 30% sugar according to the waiter's suggestion. The cream on the top of the milk tea was amazing, both sweet and salty to me, which made a great combination with the red milk tea below. And I loved their chewy boba. Will definitely come back and try other stuffs. read more

Salt cream foam milk tea. 30% sweetness. Very tasty. Nice decoration. One small tip: It would be better to have yellow light than white light to take pictures. read more

I love the boba here, it's just the right texture. My partner really likes the mango pomelo sago drink, occasionally we get snacks like the egg waffle or the fries. The fruit tea tastes a little bit too fragrant/artificial but it's still delicious and has actual fruit inside. Recommend for anyone who's craving bubble tea. read more

The aesthetic of this shop is so cute. The staff are friendly and the ability to customize your drink perfect: from ice to sweetness! I found the boba to be cooked perfectly and the taste delicious. I really appreciate that this adorable bubble tea shop offers non-dairy options such as almond or soy milk! Big points in my book. I also super appreciated that even during Snowmageddon 2019 they were open when hardly anyone else was! Will definitely be going back. read more

I've gotten their bubble waffle and hot milk tea a couple times and they're pretty good! I haven't tried anything else, but I'd recommend those two! They'll hit the spot during the winter months. The employee there was also very nice to us read more

Ambience: 3.5/5 They have a really cutesy theme going on! Marble everywhere and everything is a variation of gold, white, and gray. Lots of seating but most of the tables are for two people. But my favorite part is how quiet it is, their music is pretty soft so it's good place to get some homework done. Drink: 3/5 - Cookie Milk Tea (no topping/70%sugar/less ice) - paid 5.50$ A little bit on the pricey side for a drink (that didn't have any toppings either) but it was yummy! I especially like their creama and didn't find it to be overbearing for the tea. Overall: 3.5/5 Would definitely come back because of its location (literally right across from lightrail station), good option of snacks and drinks! read more

I have been going here since it opened (old owner and new owner) and have really appreciated the location convenience of Hi Tea Cafe. I go at least once a week and try a different drink every time and yet to dislike something there. I love the fact you can customize the drink's sweetness and the amount of ice. Most of the time I find a lot of milk teas to be too sweet but with this, I can get it less sweet and it effin' rocks. The customer service is amazing as well - attentive and friendly. There are two gals that trade off at the counter and both are very welcoming to questions you may have about any of the drinks or ingredients. read more

I came here for bubble waffles... but it was the worst bubble waffle I've ever had. After my first bite I thought about throwing it away but I forced myself to have two more bites then I tossed it. It had a really unpleasant scent and taste. It's hard to describe but the closest thing is like an old hard boiled egg. It was not sweet, didn't have the waffle scent, and it was very dense. I remember seeing the batter on the counter, it was not the usual yellow color but it was a darker shade, almost tan like which I thought was strange because I actually make bubble waffles at home sometimes. I hope they improve their recipe. read more

Like always we wanted to try new bubble tea places in the area so we hit up this place. The space was spacious, quiet and clean. Seems like a great place to read a book, do hw and have small meetings. There were 2 workers when we came in and they were patient and answered our questions about their menu. We got Signature Yoyo milk tea, Cheese Cream Earl Grey Tea and bubble wrap. The drinks were okay - it felt like something was missing, tapioca were not the best while the bubble wrap got cold and hard fast. read more

I love the aesthetics of the cafe! White walls, white tables, white seating... it's a girl's dream for the perfect IG picture! The selection of the menu has such a variety, it was so hard to choose what to order. I ordered this cookie drink and it was pretty delicious! Didn't really "wow" me but I'd for sure come back for more! read more

Absolutely delicious bubble tea. It was a bit of a wait, but such is expected when people are flooding the shop to get a perfectly flavored tea. Decently priced, especially for Seattle. Can not recommend enough!!! A must for coffee and tea lovers read more

First of all, I really love the design! However the drink was alright. I asked for 50% sugar but still sweet. The price is expensive compared to other bubble tea. I got the regular one and it was $6. However, I got charged $7 for it. I can't believe they added a dollar for themselves! $7 for a drink? It's almost a meal. Imagine they did that for everyone, it's already expensive as it is. read more

I came to this place to try a fresh juice! I order the peach fresh juice, not sugar added and they added only 3 THREE Pieces of peach and then added syrup and condensed milk. Something i did not requested for sure. My point is, if you are looking for something natural not processed. Don't go there! read more

I like to stop by here on my way to my office sometimes and I really like the Jasmine Bubble tea with boba. Sometimes the taste is a bit hit or miss with the strength of the tea but usually it's very good. I wish the bubble teas had a stronger taste in general. I still really like it here and come back whenever I have a craving for bubble tea! read more

Pretty good service, the teas and ingredients taste fresh/not from a mix. I've yet to have had stale boba from this place, it's always been pretty chewy and seems freshly made. Maybe doesn't have the most adventurous flavors but has all the standard choices and some really nice specialty drinks which is all I'm looking for tbh. I usually like my drinks on the less sweet side so I go for light sugar and rely on jellies for sweetness. It's also super light and airy inside~ A really reliable and frankly better choice than oasis tea. read more

This boba shop looks clean when you walk in. I like that they have a lot of options for fresh fruit smoothies. We ordered the peach smoothie and it was pretty good. However, I had to give this place 3 stores because of the tables. The marbling foil/metal sheets on the tables are poorly done so there are sharp edges sticking out from under the table. This is a hazard, especially for the taller tables. I cut my pinky finger because I accidentally touched the bottom of the table. Also the bathroom sink handle looks like the cover came off because the water is running down the white paste. I would come back here for the bubble tea, but not to hang out read more

Fantastic place! Cookie Cream Tea and Classic Milk Tea are simply amazing, while Egg Puff and Tornado Potato are surprisingly tasty snacks! Hi Tea is where I first tried bubble tea, and it's still one of my favorites places. Extra points for nice mellow music! A recommendation: unless you're a heavy sugar user, I recommend specifying Half Sugar or less. Also, Black Sugar Boba is somehow even better than regular Boba read more

Best boba in Seattle. You can actually taste the tea unlike many other places where it just tastes like milk and sugar. The baristas are friendly and and always helpful. Consider getting reduced amount of sugar if you don't like your tea too sweet! read more

Came back again a few times now and their milk tea is incredibly watered down. Wouldn't recommend coming here if you want bubble tea.

I'm never going to Yoyo Station for bubble tea again because of their bad business practice! They charged me 20% tips without me knowing, transaction went through a few days after the visit, their service and the quality of the drinks were bad. They just lost a customer. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED! read more

I've tried a lot of boba places in the area and my go to is a coffee flavored boba tea and their Blue Mountain is the best coffee flavored boba tea I've had. I like that they let you pick your preference on how you'd like your drink made. They're very fast on making your order especially when they're busy. Also their tornado potato and waffle fries are super delicious! They give you an option for cheese or barbecue seasoning and they're both great. And don't forget to grab yourself a stamp card read more

This place was nice! The workers were helpful and quick, and the drink was good. I would suggest cooling it on the sweetness if you're getting a cream cheese foam drink, it added enough sweetness for me. Only complaint was the door bein left open when it was about 50 degrees outside! read more
