It was ok, but a bit overhyped in my opinion. I was looking for a quick bite for lunch when in town for an event at the convention center close by. It's definitely a quirky looking spot with some fun decor. Wasn't in the mood for a burger so I had a grilled chicken sandwich on a potato bun with the usual toppings, fries, and a bottle of water. Passable but nothing to write home about, and overall a bit pricey for what it was. Service was ok and it took a while to get my meal considering it wasn't all that busy. They played really good music here though.

Not great. The menu/ordering process was confusing. I order the taco burger in a lettuce wrap which was a good idea in theory but not in practice. The Doritos and Fritos were inside the meat rendering them without any flavor or crunch. The burger did have a taco flavor. The lettuce was more of a bed than a wrap. The sweet potato tots were pretty good but wish they came with a sauce or something. The portions seem small for the price. It's a self-service restaurant. Probably wouldn't go back.

Ordered a cheeseburger and Mac n cheese to go. It took 24 minutes for my order, even after telling them multiple times what I ordered. Their response was I am sorry but at least you got a fresh one. This was my first and last time eating at this restaurant. Buyer beware that the food doesn't come out like the photos on the ordering kiosks. Taste wasn't that good for either the burger or macaroni and cheese. The macaroni was better than the burger. It is nice that they do military Monday's but they should really get their act together.

The food was good, but the service was a struggle. I arrived 30 minutes before they closed, and by the time I was at the register, it was 7:50pm. The cashier explained that they couldn't make shakes and they were out of some other thing, which I understand. I ordered a burger and fries to go. Someone came from the back area and scolded me for coming in so late "we're trying to close." I felt like I was in the way. At least the burger and fries were yummy. Also, note, they only take cash.

Came here tonight for dinner after someone recommended it last night who was hanging out outside of there. I figured since I was staying a block over might as well! We got the cowboy burger (not pictured) and the taco grilled cheese along with the sweet potato tots. The restaurant was really clean and so was the drink station. We were helped by Kali who was really friendly and sweet. The food didn't take too long to come out, but long enough to make you know it's probably cooked to order. The cowboy burger was absolutely amazing and so were the taco grilled cheese. I'd definitely recommend this place if you're in the area, but if you're looking for a shake come a little earlier in the evening and not within the hour of closing.

Pretty solid for a burger, but holy cow they can get busy when there's events at the convention center across the street. They're a worthwhile stop with a bit of a contemporary vibe at off-peak times... at peak times, well, it's long lines, long waits, and service struggles. French fries are on the thicker side, hamburger patties are pretty okay, they come in two pieces so the veggies are on display. 3.5 stars, but rounding up seems fair, at least if you're able to avoid the crowds at peak hours.

Great little burger spot by the convention center in St Louis! Ate here for lunch with some coworkers and as smash burgers go, it was just what I expected. I did like the unique soda flavors as it's nice to get something different from time to time. Would definitely eat here again if given the chance.

The location of this restaurant is in close proximity to the Metrolink station, Americas Dome, Convention Center, Arch, and Cardinals Stadium. I arrived about 30 minutes before close; staff were already conducting cleaning procedures. I ordered the Cowboy Burger HiDeal. The burger was made fresh and very good. Fries were okay, not crispy but seasoned very well. Fountain drink options were good and included a zero sugar option. Even though they were near closing time, all employees were very friendly and didn't rush me. This is a solid option should you need a quick bite in St.Louis, MO. Side note: I noticed that many of the businesses close around 8/9pm.

Signature burger - overcooked and missing a second patty and all the fixings.

Awful - wait time without a line or 1/2 full restaurant - took 35+ minutes. Because order wasn't ready until the location closed it was given to close. Got back to room to discover one burger was wrong - and it came with 1 overcooked burger patty between bun. This was one of their signature burgers. If you enjoy waiting long periods of time for an overcooked burger, that is very thin then this is your place but best burger in the world, no - closer to worst burger in the world and a terrible experience.

Food: outstanding Service: amazing Ambiance: excellent Notes: I have a feeling that every tourist that comes to downtown St. Lewis will tell you that the food here is incredible. Just amazing. I know it sounds abnormal, but if you come here, try the Mac and cheese with mayonnaise! The Mac and mayo just complete each other. Truly, one of the best burgers I've ever tasted.

This place was not for me but it may be for you. The guy who took our order was super nice but that's where it ended. The drink machine area was a mess and when we got our food the burger was overcooked and dry. Lack of seasoning as well. The buffalo chicken sandwich was meh. The best part of the meal was the nuggets. I came with high hopes based on the reviews but was let down.

When I saw the Yelp review in the window proclaiming "worst restaurant ever" I had to check it out. Unfortunately, that review must have been removed (yes, I did look for it), but I'm here to replace it with a new one. I would highly disagree with the review in the window-I had a rather pleasant experience. The make-your-own burger appealed to both me and my wife, so we could order just what we wanted. Everything was made fresh, but the wait was not long at all. Very reasonable, in fact. The atmosphere is bright, vibrant and funky with neat paintings on the wall that give a bit of a comic book character vibe. And the service is quick and friendly. The only thing that I was confused by is the name. When I think of a drive-in, I think of car hops and roller skates, but that's not what this is. Maybe I missed something? Either way, it was all good!

If I'm in a new city bet your butt I'll find a banging low-budget burger! And since I found myself staying for a few days in downtown St Louis I was floored that right across from my hotel was a fast casual burger restaurant. I found myself starving in between working and decided to pop in and scoop up a burger to go. I modestly ordered a single with the regular toppings that I'm accustomed to, however do be mindful that cheese and toppings cost extra. The burger may have been basic with cheese(extra $1), grilled onions(extra $1- really unnecessary) tomatoes, lettuce but, it was also fairly juicy and stayed good for awhile, even ordered to-go. Definitely worth the under $10 price tag, except I can't speak to the validity of the sides- or anything else on the menu for that matter. Is this burger something special? No... But, I quite like burgers in most forms so, I felt like this deserved a solid 4 out of 5 stars for both taste and value.

It'll do in a pinch. Went before a concert at the dome. Very mediocre. But it was extremely busy due to concert traffic.

It is VERY understandable that Blues City Deli has achieved a 5 star rating on Yelp. It was great…read more I read in my preview that the line to the counter is always there...but it moves quickly...and it is and does. I had to visit Blues City as I heard they have great Po Boys...and they do. I am used to having oysters or shrimp on a Po Boy. Not here. They are basically served with many versions of meat. I had the Benton Park Po Boy and it was incredible. The sandwich has ham, roast beef, turkey, provel, and is dressed with lettuce, tomato, pickle, onion, pepperoncini, sweet red pepper sauce on french bread. My wife, being vegetarian had the Panino Fresco. It included mozzarella, provolone, dressed with homemade olive salad, tomato, onion & Italian vinegar oil on an Italian roll. This was the first time in 26 years that she finished the entire sandwich. I had a bite of hers, and it is easy to see why she she finished it. So good. I even bought a memorable t-shirt as I loved Blues City Deli. The female counter person was so friendly. She even wrote down three other restaurants to try while we were visiting St Louis. Blues City Deli is a can't miss place and if we are back in St. Louis...we will be back.

Great sandwiches, quick line and service. Sandwich was big enough to save other half for later…read more Perfect place to grab a bite before the brewery tour. Indoor and outdoor seating. We ate in our car, no spots available. Benton Park is up and coming.
