Go! Since working downtown, this place has become a staple for my breakfast food. Let's start with the service: those working behind the counter are incredibly kind, always smiling, and eager to take your order. It's always more being greeted with a smile and a "good morning!" The food: they have the best blueberry muffins I've had in my entire life! Seriously! If i could eat them everyday without gaining an ounce, I would. Since I can't, I've opted to try their breakfast sandwiches and as of late, their breakfast bowls. When it comes to sandwiches, my usual go-to is the California, which comes with your choice of bread(get it on the Hawaiian- TRUST ME), avocado, egg, cheddar cheese and bacon. I gave up pork a while ago, so I get mine without. As for the bowls, I sort of create my own. I get the sandwich version of the California but I add spinach. They're both so good. I've tried their soup and salad combo, which doesn't disappoint either! No matter what the day is, I've never had to wait for a long time. I certainly appreciate them being so thorough and efficient with the orders and timeliness. The place is quite large and there's ample seating, which makes a difference since we're in the post Covid era. If you're looking to try some place new, don't walk, RUN! Love the extensive breakfast menu here! I was thrilled to see they offered gluten free bread on their menu. The logo, signage, and decor inside is a bit dated, but the rave reviews speak for themselves. The service here is very friendly and fast. I decided to take to go, but there are quite a few tables here and lots of breakfast and lunch options made to order or ready to go. I ordered a ham, cheese, and egg breakfast sandwich on gluten free bread, and unfortunately, I realized after I had left for takeout that they forgot the egg and hadn't toasted the bread. Came to takeaway breakfast on a weekday. Ordered a ham egg & cheese croissant sandwich and a veggie omelette with cheese and an iced coffee. Pleasantly surprised the omelette came with hash browns they were yummy. The omelette was overcooked for me and it didn't have spinach inside as I requested. The ham croissant sandwich was yummy. This cafe is located downtown next to a hotel and isn't hard to spot either. When I walked in and went to look at the menu I was greeted by a cook with a warm and friendly smile. Me and my husband ordered the California Croissant and it's basically a regular bacon egg and cheese croissant but just with added avocado. These are not that big in size, kind of small in my opinion, but the flavor was there and we enjoyed it. $5.99 for each one which is pretty decent. If I returned I would probably get something else with it as well. read more

Placed it the night before and it was ready a few minutes early - super easy pickup and everything was correct, even included silverware and napkins! I've used Java Plus a handful of times now for my corporate office lunches. They are a hidden little place downtown that more people need to know about. Every single time all the lunches are made fresh. No wilting lettuce or stale bread here! And there are so many options at a super low price per person it's kinda crazy. You're not going to get this much food in a box lunch at this price anywhere else. They have a healthy option menu which is great for the calorie counters in the office. Anything you want changed on an order, I haven't had an issue with this place getting right. They also cater to my gluten free, diabetic, and vegetarian co-workers. Ordering for an office can get complicated... Trust me. I usually work with Ken for my orders. The service is always friendly and easy. Surprisingly good for being a nondescript eatery in a big corporate building. Not the cheapest in the area (Subway or Jimmy John's wins that race), but the quality makes up for it. You can tell they take the time to prepare their food *relatively* from scratch. Let me walk you through my lunch time visit today: 1. approach register and wonder about ingredients in listed salads 2. following warm greeting, am directed to full menu (better take one back to the office) 3. overwhelmed with delicious-sounding options 4. choose a Cobb salad, requesting all mixed greens and dressing on the side 5. am welcomed again, since it's my first visit, and told my salad will be right up 6. salad is prepped in about three minutes and, before I can even ask my question, am directed to the display of forks and napkins Now I'm finishing my salad at my office and it's SOOO good. Java Plus is fairly hidden from the downtown world, but it offers a quick breakfast/lunch alternative. Fairly spacious if you're with a number of people and televisions and free Wi-Fi if you're not. Personally, I'm a fan of their croissant breakfast sandwiches. Burger King ain't got nothing on you Java Plus! One word of warning - if they're out of already made sandwiches (they make a batch, but them in plastic clamshells and under heat lamps, it's not as bad as it sounds, really), at times it takes a bit for them to make something fresh/custom. read more

We were in town from Kansas City for a lengthy court case. One of my priorities is finding lunch options for my attorneys and clients. After reviewing several menus, I decided to contact Ken at Java Plus. I explained that we were in from out of town, needed lunch for several people delivered to the courthouse, and that we would likely be in town for several weeks. Ken was quick to respond that he would be happy to help. He suggested off-the menu options in case we needed a change. He and his staff delivered our lunch every day on time. He offered to run a tab for us during the week and send an invoice at the end of the week. He even was quick to respond when I needed lunch for an unplanned witness. Best of all - every item we tried from the menu, including salads, sandwiches and wraps, was fresh and delicious. Java Plus was the perfect choice for my team. During the second week of our trial, the attorneys for a co-defendant asked where we were getting our lunches as they looked so tasty. I've only been once, but I'll go back... tasted healther than the food at Gourmet to Go (while not bad, I'd prefer if they had fewer pre-made options so I could, say, opt for no dressing), right across the street, and easy to figure out menu (which seems like a given, but I'm still a bit mystified with the G2G menu). I visit Java Plus at least a couple times a week for lunch (and breakfast on crazy mornings). The food is fresh, there's a variety of options and they're more than willing to customize my order if asked. I recommend getting the lunch specials - they are a great deal! I'm a big fan of their flatbread specials on Fridays. We've also ordered their box lunches for meetings and have been pleased. I work with the catering side of Java Plus for corporate lunches at least once a week, and the service could not be better. My orders are correct and on time. The delivery guys are polite and always offer to help set up. And I don't think I've ever worked with someone with better customer service skills than the owner, Ken. He is quick to confirm orders and keeps me in the loop on pertinent info regarding my orders. He's also great at suggesting things for large orders when I'm drawing a blank.
