[[HIGHLIGHT]]Stopped by for a quick lunch and was shocked to see how empty the place was.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Staff were so kind and welcoming and the food was delicious. I ordered chilaquiles and a latte.

My daughter and I visited this cafe during our recent visit to St. Louis. We were staying downtown, and the cafe was a brief walk from our hotel. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The interior was very bright and airy, which felt extremely inviting.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There was lots of available seating inside and several tables located outside in a courtyard area as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The layout included a full-service bar serving up fresh juices, coffee, tea, smoothies and cocktails. You place your order at the counter, and you are then given a number to place on your table for service. I spotted an open booth (there were only a few) and sent my daughter to hold the spot while I placed our order. I opted for the Ukraft 2 Combo with 1/2 Ukraft Club (no tomato and the addition of herb aioli on the side) and 1/2 Santorini salad (no bell peppers and no chickpeas). Let me tell you...the portion sizes made for two completely separate meals for me! They were generous, and everything was so flavorful and fresh. My daughter ordered the Cajun Shrimp sandwich (no tomatoes) and said that she could've gone without the bell peppers as well. Again, very generous portions. Her sandwich came with a side, and she chose the Loaded Baked Potato soup. I had a cocktail. The Brunch Punch. I wasn't really a fan. The flavors weren't that balanced, and it mostly tasted bitter. My daughter wanted Sweet Tea, but they had unsweetened tea and sweetened syrup available upon request. She wasn't a fan and ended up dumping that and getting a soda. Sweet Tea connoisseurs would not be pleased. The staff was friendly and fast. The fast part made me feel a little rushed while ordering, but she was super-nice and answered all of my questions. If/when I return, I will be better prepared. With this being my first visit, I wasn't aware that you order at the counter and was expecting to have the leisure of sitting and looking over the menu in a much slower manner. I'll definitely return next time we're in the city.

A fantastic breakfast find in the downtown area! After sleeping in and missing our hotel's breakfast, we walked over to Ukraft, which was just a short distance away. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The space is very open and inviting,[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] the service was friendly, and the food was delicious. It turned out to be a great accidental discovery

[[HIGHLIGHT]]We dropped in for a late lunch and the place was pretty quiet--ideal for a quick, no-fuss bite.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It's just down the street from the Arch, so super convenient if you're sightseeing or in the area. Our food came out fast and both dishes tasted great. I ordered the apple salad--fresh and light, but I wish it came with a bit of goat cheese to take it up a notch. Almost forgot to take photos (you know that means the food was good), so they don't do it justice. Still, a solid spot if you're nearby and want something quick, tasty, and low-key.

I wanted to try this place after seeing it on TikTok They had a large food selection, so it was going to be easy for me and my man to find something on the menu. My man, I got the pancakes and bacon and then I got the turkey club sandwich. I thought my sandwich was okay. It could've used some lettuce. If I was to come back again, I would probably try the French toast and the breakfast next time. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I would say when I walked in it was about 15 people inside. It was very spacious inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Mushroom omelette, sub egg whites, added Cholula sauce

This is the second Ukraft location we've visited, with a similar positive experience. They offer multiple different components of breakfast/brunch/lunch that you can add together. This allows for a smaller or larger meal with healthy options. I chose to get egg whites in my mushroom omelette. I also opted for the Yukon potatoes because they are not fried. They also offer lattes, which brings the whole breakfast package for me. They are located in the Peabody building. It looks like there is street parking. Not sure if there is more parking as we walked from a nearby hotel.

Best breakfast tacos ever! Went here based on yelp reviews and it was close to my hotel downtown. Definitely did not disappoint and I will come back!

Side of bacon and Hawaii 5-0 smoothie.
Caitlin S.

I visited Ukraft with a large group while in town for a conference. They were so accommodating and very patient when trying to deliver everyone their food and drinks (it was not an easy task.) I had a side of bacon and the Hawaii 5-0 smoothie, which was the perfect combination. I'm hoping to find a smoothie place in my town to try to recreate this recipe, since it was probably the best smoothie I've ever had. Think Pina Colada, but with vanilla protein powder instead of run. The sandwiches and breakfast items my colleagues enjoyed looked delicious and the price point was great.

Honey Apple salad and chips

Today, the office provided lunch from Ukraft Brunch Cafe. I picked the Honey Apple Salad. This Honey Apple Salad is fire!!! There's apples, blueberries, grapes, strawberries, cucumbers, chicken, mixed greens, almonds and granola with a honey apple vinaigrette. I've checked out the menu and I see a bunch of items I want to try.

A great brunch spot in downtown St. Louis. They offer many different kinds of food from breakfast bowl to pancakes, toast, salad and more. We had traditional ukraft breakfast with waffles. It's just mediocre food and the waffle was not crispy enough. Chicken salad was a good choice, it's fruity and refreshing.

Taylor T.

If you're looking for a BIG and I mean humongous menu for brunch and lunch then Ukraft Brunch Cafe fits the bill. It's right in downtown, which is where I stay when traveling to St Louis, so for me it's convenient and the location provides a nice walk to burn off that brunch. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's an order at the counter model of restaurant however, they do have a pretty stocked sit-down bar.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The avocado toast selection is any millennial's dream! You will never be bored with bland cardboard avocado toast here, the selections of flavors are fun. My Tex-Mex avocado toast looked like a party and tasted like one too. The layers of flavors made up for the lack of texture. The succulent black beans combined with sweet corn made a nice earthy salsa which paired well with the classic pico de gallo. What made this toast most tasty was the generous helping of the chipotle lime vinaigrette on top of the runny over easy egg, which once combined made a super saucy bite. The only complaint I have is the multi grain bread could have been toasted a tad more because once everything was piled on it because a little bit soggy but, the substantial seasoning made up for it. All for a little over $10 this wasn't a dainty avocado toast, the toppings made it a sizable solid meal.

Honestly I would give a 2 star because the food was really bland but the staff here was incredibly nice and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the ambiance wasn't bad at all[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Self serve Togo boxes and water cup station. I think this place is meant for people to have lunch near their work.

Sliders
Cally R.

Was downtown for the morning to visit the arch and found this great, lively brunch spot. The Avo toast was excellent and the Bloody Mary too! Sliders with the brioche buns were delicious! I'm glad we found this place! Staff greeted when you walked in, and made sure to acknowledge us before leaving.

There are even 3 ways to order: at the counter on the tablet, on the QR code at the seats, or asking the staff directly. The DD Mau salad may have been the most delicious salad I've ever had. The greens were fresh, not bitter at all, and the ingredients were so flavorful. The textures combined with the sauce made for a very complex, umami taste and mouthfeel with a slightly spicy kick. Wow! So wonderful that it's a local collaboration too. We also got The Works, a generous swirl of basil and matcha soft serve with shards of sesame peanut brittle. My friend liked it a lot and I thought it was very interesting. I don't think you could go wrong with anything on their menu and there's also the option to make your own salad. Lastly, you can sign up for tours of their hydroponic farm (attached to the restaurant), which are held on weekends 1-2pm. You'll know where to find me on Saturday...

I'll be up front and disclose that I AM NOT A SALAD PERSON. The closest form of a salad that I eat would be a chicken Caesar wrap laden with dressing and cheese and carbs with probably 2000 calories. That said, boy was my elote salad at Neon Greens enjoyable. It is a lil pricey but worth it once I dug in and really enjoyed myself and learned more about the shop and their mission. They grow everything themselves - so cool. I love the friendly employees and the really really fresh greens and combinations. I got the cheese bread but was really close to ordering the soup instead. I'll skip the bread and try the soup next time. No matcha soft serve available the day that I went.

We were greeted by one of the nicest and overwhelmingly insulting people I have ever met. We "had to have been from out of town" because "if you were local you wouldnt have imagined coming here without a reservation." Then we spent the next 10 minutes trying to walk back to our car while having an app explained to us so "you can check for open tables at other places." There were maybe 3 people eating in the entire front area. So out of towner's, dont spend the 5 minutes looking for parking and the 5 minutes walking to this establishment to be treated like some peasant commoner who is sullying their establishment.

I highly recommend sitting out in the courtyard patio if you're able to. It really is lovely. We had a group of people and our server, Kelly, was great! She took good care of us, and made recommendations. I was really impressed with the support staff who swiftly swapped out our empty water carafes for fresh, cold ones.
