I was in the mood for a chicken roll and wings and this was the closest pizzeria to his job. They do have a pretty large menu with selection of pastas, slices, etc. The staff is very friendly and made my order fairly quickly. I honestly was not impressed with the chicken roll. The chicken was dry and wasn't warmed up enough so the cheese wasn't even melted. They charge extra with a side of marinera sauce. The wings were the fail of the whole meal. They were super fatty and had more fat than actual chicken. They were not crispy and barely had any mild sauce on it. Very disappointed. Will not be eating here again. read more

Second time, the order was late so I called and they said they needed an extra 20 minutes (showed up about 90 minutes after originally order was placed). Annoying but fine. The people just had to wait. However, the last time I ordered was too much. I waited the anticipated 60 minutes that the website told me. Nothing came, so I called. They never even got the order. Here it was over an hour later. We were starving and they never got the order. When I asked what they recommended as a next step. They told me to place the order again. When I asked about the previous order that I PAID FOR , they said they couldn't help. So now, over an hour later I need to figure out dinner and add calling my credit card company to dispute a charge to me "to do" list. Pretty frustrating! I understand glitches happen. But the customer service was ridiculous, especially when I ordered directly from their website and not a third-party like grubhub/seamless/etc. If you are interested in ordering, its probably best to go old-school and just call since the e-commerce part is not really that reliable. read more

I've been coming here for many years. This was the hangout spot after I got off the bus from high school. The other day my mom ordered me Penne alla vodka from and my dad picked it up (royal treatment). I don't know if it was because of the time, which happen to be like 11:45am, but my dad said he payer just under $10. The portion lasted me like 3-4 days. I keep going back to the fridge for more and I'm thinking when does it end (not that I wanted it to). Considering what he paid, they easily gave me double what I felt to be was like a double portion and believe me I'm not complaining. This is why I continue to eat from HiClass! The food itself really good. I'm a huge Penne alla vodka lover. With that said I've had better, and i've had worse. This is defintely authentic Italian food. The pasta actually tasted better the next day. I think I would have enjoyed it more if they added more sauce to my portion. Next time I'm going to ask for "heavy". We walked in and they had multiple pizza choices right at the counter. Each pizza looked so good! Amadeo, Ceasar were my original culinary legends who could toss & spin a pizza pie with artistic precision.They had the best Sicilian pizza! The eggplant parmigiana sandwiches were to die for! Love their plain pizza. It's really convenient that they offer online ordering! Their garlic knots are also pretty good however I'm not a fan of their Sicilian or chicken Cesar salad slices. I absolutely am impressed with the place and have no idea what the other reviewers are talking about stating the staff is miserable. Maybe it was the time of night and the night staff is different from the day staff? Anyway I went into Hi-class around 9:30 on a Monday night so my options were limited as far as pizza varieties go...or so I thought. I asked if they had buffalo chicken pizza and one of the guys said they didn't. Now at any other pizza place this would be the end of it(and I would have to order something they did have made). The other guy behind the counter offered to make me a buffalo chicken slice! I couldn't believe it I would have ordered something else but they OFFERED to make it for me right before closing to boot! They were such nice guys working. I couldn't believe the prices too. I got a buffalo chicken slice and an ice tea all for under 5 dollars. Most pizzerias on Long Island price their buffalo chicken slices at 5 plus dollars. After a short wait I was on my way with my fresh slice. When I got home I stuck it in the oven to keep it warm. When I finally got around to actually eat it, I was blown away. One of the best buffalo chicken slices I ever had. The spice wasn't too hot as to mask the taste and it wasn't lathered in blue cheese(in fact no blue cheese at all was on the pizza which makes me happy..cant stand the stuff). The buffalo sauce wasn't too much either(a lot of places slop the buffalo sauce on..its too much..but not from Hi-class). Even the crust was great..crispy on the outside and soft and doughy on the inside..not too thick either. I come to queens daily and I'm so glad I found this place. Mainly stayed on Jamaica Avenue / Jericho Turnpike. I live along that road, but in the midst of the hustle and bustle and grittiness of western Queens. On my break, I took a walk for a cheap bite to eat. Then I came across this place: "Hi-Class? Hmmm. Interesting." Walked in and liked the plentiful seating and the arrangement. On display were an array of so many different items that I had to take a little time to decide. On the first day, I had a chicken parmigiana slice with zeppoli. On the second day, I had a buffalo chicken and a buffalo calamari slice. The pizza is honestly average. It wasn't better than average. It wasn't worse than average either. The pizza slices were dry, the crust hard, without the oiliness that oozes "yummy". It were as if they were overcooked. Despite the different slices I got, they were mostly bland. Each slice looks unique, but they don't taste unique. The zeppoli were these large round balls which weren't baked enough. The center of them were a little cool. The pizza is passable however. Three stars sounds just about right. Will I return? Sure, but it wouldn't be my first choice. read more
