The best Italian take out ( you could eat in too but we always take out) in the neighborhood at the best prices! Growing up in my Sicilian Grandmother's cooking makes it very hard for me to eat Italian, if they don't make a good gravy (or red sauce) than I'll pass. Well hi class makes a marvelous gravy! I'm impartial to their eggplant rollatini with a side of spaghetti ala vodka (a couple bills Xtra for ala vodka or different sauce but that's everywhere) my husband eats anything with grilled chicken and their grilled chicken is always on point, never dry and has that Nice char-grilled flavor! Their pizza is very good too. Love their Grandma as they make a bacon and cheddar pinwheel that is very tasty, didn't think I'd like that but I do! I also LOVE the guys ​who answer the phone, whatk sweethearts​ with patience of a saint, not one of those​ young girls who has no clue about anything and always forgets something! Hi Class is our go to spot for Italian takeout. They do many dishes well and some exceptional. Their baked ziti is the best around. The ricotta they use is crazy good, so calzones are good too. Other good dishes include, linguini alfredo, chicken francaise, Lentil soup, chicken fingers, and french fries to name a few. My wife also swears their Tiramisu is the best, I don't eat Tiramisu. Pizza is good, but not the best around, sicilian is better. Some secondary dishes aren't to my liking, but I'm also very picky about food. I like to mix up my Italian places, especially because there are so many good ones in the area, but I still always find my way back to Hi Class! read more

But I'm sick of miserable staff, and all the slices they have out look like they are over a day old.. Tried the cheese pizza here once, worst pizza I've ever had, it had very little flavor and the crust was dry and hard. Also very expensive per slice. Good food. However, they never have Zeppoli ready especially on Sundays. Staff does not go out of their way to satisfy customers. They would rather lose their business. Given the limited food options in Bellerose, Hi-Class doesn't have much competition in terms of pizza. I've never seen more than three customers here at the same time. Their specialty slices are pretty good, especially the chicken marsala, but not my favorite. The staff always makes me and my girlfriends uncomfortable with their stares, too. 3/5 for being your Average Joe's. read more

Great location and can imagine business is good. The food was great I enjoyed a couple of slices as I was walking home but that's where it ends. The employee behind the counter was very mono tone and rude. Did not greet me upon arrival nor thanked me for my business. I know its just a pizzeria and not a Mercedes Benz dealership but customer service is customer service and there food is there only customer retention. I give Hi Class 5 star for what it Is a store front pizza place. You will not find better food in any other pizzeria . I will also state that most fine restaurant do not have better meals. AWESOME... BEYOND AWESOME!!!!! I normally get a quick pie to go, this time around I got a sausage an pepper pie with light sauce. It did not disappoint, light sauce was light, peppers were fresh, sausage was crumbled not sliced so it was nicely distributed. Waiting for the pies I tried the spinach artichoke pie, OH MY GAWD! It's now the normal pie I order, calzones are really good, the crust is crusty and not soggy, same with the chicken rolls. Don't get me started on the francese chicken, or veal, doesn't make a difference, it's so good. If you haven't tried them it's a must that you do. I've only eaten pizza here, and I noticed a big difference between eating here and having delivery. For some reason delivery tastes like it came from somewhere else compared to how the slices tasted in the restaurant when eating there. Delivery was soggy and tasted old. Also what I will never forget is the last time I ate here and asked for some olive oil on the side I was given regular cooking oil in a little cup. Hi Class is a local pizza shop that Ive been going to for years. I think the pizza is ok, nothing to take a special trip for. A lot of people on yelp complain about the attitude of the employees and I can say that I agree, but I also see them to be straight forward people. Im not sure if all people will like this kind of service. It can be a turn off. Their attitude and their prices maybe their downfall. I love the chicken ceasar salad and especially the dressing but for almost $10 bucks for this ill have to pass! This is something that is not in my budget for lunch everyday or not even every other day. This is a local pizza store and shouldnt have Manhattan prices! The restaurant has a classic feel which I like, but the prices are a little to high for me and the pizza isnt anything that special. Hi-Class has been my wife's go to pizza place for 30 years. If you go there at night or around 2pm you're going to get good pizza. If you want a slice for lunch earlier than 2pm then you're going to be disappointed. They serve old slices early in the day. We ordered 4 different slices and all of them were so disgustingly old and stale that I had to take them back. They gave me new slices which was nice. But the old guy sitting at a table wouldn't admit they were old. The guy behind the counter quickly gave me new ones because he knew the other ones were old. I had brought the grandma slice back because that one I couldn't even cut in half. No one offered me a new grandma slice which in my mind means they knew they were serving old ones. It just doesn't make sense. You're going to lose more business by serving gross old slices than you will if you just threw out the damn slice at the end of the night. I'm sure I'll be back but only after 2pm. read more

Food is average. Pizza has fallen off quite a bit over the years. Would be nice to get what you ask for when ordering. Ask for extra blue cheese....get charged for extra but never get it. These guys act like their pizza is the best around.....it's not. Ask for a fresh slice and get one with yellow cheese that's been sitting around all day. God forbid if you ask to have anything cooked well done. And a business should never argue with a customer when their employee screwed up and order.
