Tried this place for the first time recently! Omg. Everything is delicious and reasonably priced! This is our new place for sure

I should have stayed in bed today; it's been THAT kind of day. I'd give it zero stars but the workers there were cordial and seemed like nice guys. Sorry I won't sound that way in this review. I don't jump on YELP to review right away unless something's really got me irritated and fed-up. The Ambiance is basic pizza place IMHO.. Plenty of tables and space. I've eaten pizza and pasta dishes for at least 65 of my 70+ years on this earth and worked in a pizza place during the late 70s-early 80's and I KNOW my pizza AND pasta, especially the sauce. Today's baked ziti and baked stuffed shells was literally out of this world, meaning it tasted like it came from an alien, possibly one of those we've been hearing about on the MSM news. It Was HORRIBLE! No, I don't have pictures because I do NOT have a cell phone or a cam. My wife does but she is not home today. Trust me, I do NOT knock pizza places unless it is well deserved, like this place. This was the 3rd time I've tried this place. The 1st time I ordered the same as today. It was delicious. The 2nd time I ordered a round cheeses pie which was a bit too well done for me, so not satisfied. The very 1st time I had just a slice or 2 and was very satisfied, which is why I went back. Today, I'm sorry I decided to stop there. It's a total waste of $27 as I can't even eat this. It looks and tasted like leftover food from last night. The stuffed shells were way overcooked. So soft that when I attempted to transfer to a big bowl, they fell apart. Too soft and the "ricotta" was not creamy or melted. It looked like ricotta does when it's gone bad. I was afraid to eat it, THAT'S how bad it looked. I did TRY it along with the baked ziti, but not good at all. So, you might wonder how the baked ziti was? HA! NOT GOOD AT ALL! The ziti tasted as it looked. Overcooked. Some brown "burn" spots on the mozz, (very little cheese) and the same "expired looking" ricotta. I tried a couple fork fulls but it tasted burnt to me. well done, burnt and dry. Sorry guys but this was horrible and unacceptable. This was to be for my wife and me tonight. Now I'll just make my own, which I'm quite capable of and KNOW it will be edible and much much better than the garbage I was given today. I would call but the convo would not be pretty since I'm in a rotten mood, so I am just writing it here. I won't waste my time or gas in bringing it back. This place is NOT around the corner. I was just passing by again so I figured I'd get some hot food. I should've stuck with the pizza. I mean really; how do you screw up baked ziti and shells? There's 3 ingredients plus the pasta. The Ricotta HAD to be bad to begin with and then the overcooking it compounded it - or vice-versa. I hate throwing away food but this is going in the garbage AFTER I get my wife to take a couple pics. Both meals are in a big bowl, mixed together since the shells fell apart and I THOUGHT maybe the ziti could be salvaged using some of the sauce from the shells but even then, it tasted horrible. Obviously, Enzo's is off my fav. places to eat pizza/pasta list. It does take the #1 worst ziti and shells spot though. So bad I wouldn't even want another order if offered. I'll take the loss. It's not the first time I've wasted cash. Live and learn. Calda, Positano's, Sbarro's, Gino's and a couple other places nearer to me have yet to disappoint, so I'll stay with them. So now, having just wasted $27 and annoyed at that thoughh it could've been worse, I'm going to drink my blues away with a beer or 3 and then I'll feel better - or fall asleep in front of the TV. If my wife takes a picture and we can figured out how the heck to upload it from her phone, I'll do that as soon as possible. EDIT: The bread given with the meal was also hard and cold as if ( again ) it was leftover from yesterday or even before then. But from what I recall about the bread, it looks a lot better than it tastes. I'll be throwing that out too. read more

Popped into Enzo's for a quick lunch between meetings. I live upstate now and it's really hard to find a good slice near me. Enzo's did not disappoint. The plain cheese slice was exactly what it was supposed to be and the barbecue chicken was shockingly delicious. I probably could've (should've) only had the chicken barbecue ...it was super heavy and thicker than the standard slice. Somehow I managed to take one for the team and not have any leftover. Go figure. My colleague wolfed down his Sicilian slice and garlic knots. He was very happy. So many different options. I'd like to go back and try a few others. read more

The regular slice was thin, crispy and delicious. I wish the tomato sauce had a little more pop of flavor, buffalo chicken slice was very good as well. I'm a sucker for sesame crust which they have on most of their pizzas surprised they didn't have it on their regular slice I highly recommend this pizzeria. Can't wait to go back. read more

I've ordered pizza from Enzo's for office lunches a bunch of times and they never let me down! Vinny is fantastic to work with. They are prompt, reliable and you can taste the effort they put into the pizza making! They don't skimp on the toppings and have so many fantastic combinations to choose from. There is something for everyone and they are willing to make modifications to suit your needs. The office loves this place! My personal favorite is their chicken Caesar slice and their catering tray of Horiatiki salad is great! Great work guys and of course we will be back! read more

A nice, clean pizza emporium. I was in the area & hungry. I stopped in for a couple of quick slices. The service was friendly and efficient. Prices are a bit less than other spots in the area, so that's good. The slices are fairly large and pretty tasty. There's a bit of flop to them but not too much. However, the slices are also pretty thin & I prefer a thicker slice. That wouldn't stop me from going here again though. read more

Wanted to give an updates review as they have become my favorite pizza place in New Hyde Park recently. Still loving their chicken caesar pizza & fresh veggie slice! Ive now also tried the marsala (lots of chicken and very saucey) and the penne (honestly a delish carb overload, not sure i would get it but it was tasty). I was in the area for a doctors appointment so I looked for a place that would have really good pizza that I could bring home with me for dinner. I found Enzos on yelp and it seem to have very good reviews. I was not disappointed. The crust was perfect - thin and a little crispy. Because of the weight of how generous they are with toppings the end flops a little bit, but it's understandable. The taste was amazing just the right amount of sauce and cheese and toppings. Everything was fresh. They even accommodated my special request of everything bagel seasoning crust, yet explained that they happened to have it at that moment, but was not an everyday offering. Good communication. Nice people working there. But I would recommend adding the everything bagel crust as it was really good. Sesame crust is also good though and they do offer that. Stopped by here for some take out after taking my son across the street to play. Omg what delicious pizza. Will definitely get pizza from here again. Seriously I had the Gorgonzola slice and it was just soooooo good. Also had a regular slice and was really good too. Only got take out so can't say much else. Tried 3 of the pizzas along with 6 other people: neapolitan, Sicilian and grandma. Universal review was that all 3 were very average and generally lacked flavor. Positive: friendly, prompt service and prices reasonable. Pasta options tasty and of good value. My search for great local pizza continues. read more

I ordered a slice of their garlic Gorgonzola pizza last week it was delicious. City cellar made a bar pie similar and I was so excited to find another place with the same quality. But today I took a pie home and it tasted like a pizza with blue cheese dressing. No garlic, no Gorgonzola crumbles. So disappointing. read more

Really, Really good food! Enzo's is a hidden gem. Enzo actually makes his own rice balls using his own recipe! Veal Stock, cremini mushrooms, multiple cheeses. All the dishes we have gotten here have been exceptional. Shrimp monachina, Annarita's Fiorentina, and of course the rice balls were excellent. So many times you go to a pizzeria and you just KNOW that they are not making all their dishes on site--esp when no matter which one you go to, the rice balls, sauce, eggplant etc all taste exactly the same. Not so here @ Enzo's So glad we found this place--our new go to. read more

First time at Enzo's. My eye was drawn to the Garlic & Gorgonzola slice. The server asked if i like Blue Cheese and I do. Let's just say this is a party in your mouth. It was so delicious. Glad I didn't taste it before I left. I would have been tempted to order more. I'll be back soon. read more

The. Best. Grandma. Pie. Ever!!! The sauce, seasoning and cheese with the crisp crust is just perfect. The penne ala vodka slice is not to be messed with either. Rich and delicious. This has quickly become my families go to place once a week! It started with getting pizza and it has now become our go to for hero's. Tonight I tried their veal parm hero and it was the most delicious veal parm I have ever had!!! Delivery is a plus! I order through the Slice app and they are always earlier then expected which is always a sweet surprise as just reading the menu can make you more hungry than you may realize!! read more

As a family that loves pizza, every Saturday since the beginning of the pandemic we have gotten pizza from a new place. Heard a lot of great things about Enzos.....  I am giving an honest review when i say that it was "alright". Pizza was "good" at best. A lot of great places to choose from, so the bar is high. The traditional NY Style Pie was flavorless and over cooked. The Margherita pie had to much sauce on it, but still had a good flavor. Unfortunately, it was the excess sauce killed the pie. The sesame seed crust was something that I had never had before and was enjoyable. The pepper and onion topping was weak and lacking. If ordered from enzos again I would be sure to ask them not to cover the pie with basil. I will say that the buffalo wings were really good and cooked perfectly. A lot of options to choose from around here,  probably will not repeat. read more

Beware the cost you pay isn't the price on the menu. The pizza, chicken cutlet parmigiana hero was bland. Last time for me there.

Stopped by for a quick slice and to check out the renovations. Completely different look and vibe! Pizza was very good, great crisp!

Great food, service, and portions. Had the penne with vodka sauce, and their house salad. So yummy. Can't wait to try their other dishes.

Ordered take out last night and everyone was very happy with their choices. My dad who picked the food up said the parking was great which is so important. We got an antipasto salad, couple of chicken parm heros, a kid"s sized chicken parm dinner (awesome idea--normal amount of food for normal appetites), and a few random slices. The grandma and white slice were great and the chicken Caesar slice was very impressive. This will definitely be a new go to place for my family. We have stopped in a few time for pizza which was real good, but recently we started trying their entrees and pastas and have been blown away on how good they are. The Jerry's Shrimp Monachino is absolutely a must try. I now look forward to meat fasting during lent. read more

I love this place. I live a couple blocks away and so its become my go-to pizzeria that I can walk to easily. The amount of seating is amazing. I used to eat at the pizzeria that was previously here just because of the convenience of it being near my house, but I genuinely like this place. Really crisp crust (No flop!). Went back to Enzo for more of their cauliflower pizza and found they can put any toppings on it i.e., chicken Caesar or arugula etc. I asked for no mozzarella but added porcini mushrooms. OMG! Best cauliflower pizza ever. Went with friends and met other friends walking in! They accommodate all dietary needs including gluten and vegan!!! Stopped in here on a friends recommendation and I'm glad I did. The buffalo chicken slice was amazing! From the sesame see crust to the taste and flavor of the chicken it was perfectly done. Liked it so much had to try their deliver option this past Friday. Ordered a large pie, half pep half cheese. Cooked perfectly and delivered quickly at the right temperature. I think this place is fairly new or under new ownership so give it a try. HIGhLY Recommended. read more
