    "Junior" cheese pie

Melty, cheesy goodness. A saucy affair. Ooey-gooey perfection. Crispy crust, heavenly bites. A slice of heaven. Mouthwatering, slice after slice. Sensational flavors in every bite. Irresistibly delicious. In other words; "Buon appetite"

    (L) Hawaiian: They claimed to use "high quality bacon" and not Bacon Bits topping.. (R) Supreme: Missing Olives

Expect a hosh posh of subpar quality food. With our $50 order, came many faults; - Supreme pizza missing olives. (He offered a credit.) - Hawaiian pizza w Bacon Bits topping. (He claimed that they use only 'high quality bacon'. Last I checked, Bacon Bits aren't high quality bacon but OKAY. I also mentioned that under their Yelp profile a bacon pie photo existed in what real bacon had been previously used. His response was that he cannot control who uploads what photos and that it could have been a different establishment (SURE). - 2 orders of Garlic Knots (6): Received random assortment of 2 entirely different types of garlic knots. Consistency is definitely not their forte. No marinara sauce either. When the delivery guy arrived, was told they didn't have any condiments due to lack of fulfillment (from COVID). I get it, we are in unprecedented times. Which is why I even bother to look up new places to order takeout from so that I can continue to support restaurants in my area. However the amount of mishaps that came w my order was completely inappropriate. So despite feeling bad for mom&pop spots during this time, I felt it necessary to report how unsatisfied I was. What I received from the owner was zero responsibility on his establishments part but rather kept lamenting on how excellent his business is and that it's a shame I experienced what I did but that it's unheard of. Sure. Expect much narcissistic gaslighting laments as a response to the f*ckery of Prima Pizza. There is nothing PRIMA about the way this place serves their food, fulfills orders, and most certainly not their owner.

Figured I would leave a comment because the owner or guy at the counter was extremely rude to me when I went the other day. I saw a sign for dollar pizza so I went in and ordered 2 ; came out to 5$. and I asked him " but the sign , says 1 dollar " .( the sign is actually a giant banner ) And he tells me I was wrong and he just leaves it up, they don't do that and do i know how to read - . But Of course .... that's why i came in ..... ( because i can read) .. and the sign said 1$ When I told him it's false advertising and he should take it down because it's confusing who were expecting a dollar slice . he continued to get louder and be very rude . If he was nicer maybe I would have paid the five dollars . but at this point I'm Never coming back doesn't seem worth it. But this comment most def seemed worth it .

I ordered the Lasagna from Prima Pizza and a Diet Coke. The owner Joe was real nice while he took my order over the phone and my delivery info. The delivery driver was great and real helpful, the food came in about 30 minutes after I ordered. One of the best lasagnas I've had, they threw in some garlic knots and gave me a big Diet Coke also. I will be ordering more pasta from here, the tomato sauce is glorious.

The sauce and cheese were fine, but the dough was amazing with a light, crispy, and super tasty crust. As a bread lover, I really enjoyed it. Breakfast Cheesesteak ($22) - slices of Prime rib, provolone, onions, and two runny eggs, with fries on the side. This was like an upscale version of a Philly cheesesteak. The bread was excellent again and the eggs were a nice touch. Fries were spot-on, though I wish they offered more than just ketchup (an aioli or mayo would've been great). Penne Vodka ($25) - Came with onions, peas, and prosciutto. The sauce was creamy and coated the penne nicely, but the peas tasted like frozen ones and I could barely find any prosciutto-I really had to hunt for them. Portion was on the smaller side, and I would've loved some extra Parmesan to top it off but none was offered. Overall, we found the food was pretty good. Nothing over the top, but authentic, fresh and flavorful. I think portions are on smaller side, don't expect family style portions but that's okay, the quality makes up for it. The restaurant itself is cozy, clean, and welcoming

It immediately gave me that cozy, old school neighborhood Italian restaurant feel, almost like the set of Cheers. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and packed with people. I ordered the Short Rib Pappardelle and the Grilled Lamb Chops, and both were a 10/10. The pasta was rich and flavorful, and the lamb chops were cooked perfectly. Even my brother, who's a very picky eater, thoroughly enjoyed his meal. The food smelled so incredible on the drive home that I was honestly tempted to pull over and eat it in the car. For takeout, you exit the main entrance and walk around the corner to the back of the building, where they have a separate area serving pizza and other quick bites. When I arrived around 5:30 p.m., the restaurant was bustling, and the takeout counter was lined with orders waiting to be picked up. They also offer outdoor dining. While I was waiting, I noticed the portions being served to diners at the bar, and they definitely don't skimp. The servings are generous, which makes the value even better. It's easy to see why this place is such a neighborhood favorite. Great food, generous portions, and a welcoming atmosphere. I'll definitely be making the drive from Brooklyn again.

When we walked in, a kind gentleman warmly greeted us and seated us right away--a great start. As soon as we sat down, complimentary warm bread with butter was served, which was a nice touch. Throughout the meal, the bus team was attentive and courteous--our water glasses were refilled without us having to ask, plates were cleared promptly, and clean utensils were provided to replace used ones, which we really appreciated. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case with our waiter. He took our order and then essentially disappeared--we didn't see him again until we had to wave him down for the check. Honestly, we wish the bus staff had been our server. We shared the seafood salad, which felt more like a single-person portion than something meant to share. I had the filet of sole Francese, and my husband ordered the chicken Pugliese, today's special. The fish was good, but I wasn't particularly wowed--the food wasn't bad, but nothing really stood out. While there were some nice touches, the inconsistent service and lack of standout dishes make it hard for us to return.

The Alfredo sauce was watery and not as creamy (the ratio was bit off). For dessert we ordered the tiramisu and the rum cake. The rum cake had generous amounts of rum. Overall we have had better food and service. Thankfully we were able to dine in as walk ins at the very last minute. We ordered a slice of Grandma pizza, cold antipasto for two, calamari fritti, Caesar salad, pasta alla vodka, shrimp scampi, and chicken Francese. Needless to say, we left with plenty of leftovers. The standout item was the Grandma pizza, which was excellent. The crust, sauce, and overall flavor were exactly what we were hoping for. The other dishes were good, but generally average and not particularly memorable or exceptional. Nothing was bad, but aside from the pizza, nothing really distinguished itself from similar offerings at other local Italian restaurants. The service was personable and friendly. However, it fell short of exemplary. We had to ask several times to have our water glasses refilled. To be fair, it was a very busy evening and our waiter appeared to have his hands full, which likely contributed to the oversight. The décor felt somewhat dated and could benefit from an update. While ambiance isn't everything, it does contribute to the overall dining experience. For us, the biggest drawback is location. At about a 25-minute drive from home, we didn't find the experience compelling enough to justify a return visit. There are simply too many other restaurants on our list that we'd rather try or revisit. While we don't regret giving it a chance, it's probably a one-and-done visit for us.

The first time, I ordered the fried calamari with red pepper sauce for $24. There was far more breading than actual calamari, and the dish was severely lacking in seasoning. After I called to explain my experience, the staff acknowledged that they had received similar complaints about their takeout calamari and invited me back so they could make it right. Today, I stopped in and ordered a slice of pepperoni pizza with sausage and extra cheese. Unfortunately, the experience was no better. The pizza wasn't even heated enough to melt the cheese. The sausage appeared undercooked, wasn't sliced properly, and was served in large chunks. I work on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, one of the most expensive neighborhoods in the city, where a comparable slice costs about $6. Here, I paid $8 for a slice that was bland and lacked flavor.
