In summary, we all felt that they were underwhelming, and they missed their mark on expectation and wow factor. For example, the Thai pork dish that I had was supposed to have a Thai flair to it. If there was any, it was on the lower end of the flavor profile. It was a tiny dollop of some sort of red Thai chilli sauce, but it wasn't enough of a flavor profile to make me say yes, that's Thai-inspired, and frankly, it was lukewarm, yes the meat was tender. My wife and a friend had the eggplant Parm dish and also felt uninspired by their dishes. One was overcooked compared to the other; the two asked for additional sauce to give it some more flavor. Yes, it was a nice evening out, and you get a lot for your money with a multi-course dining experience. One other oddity. During the dessert course, which was a type of bread pudding, we were not offered coffee nor tea. Even it would have been extra, who doesn't offer a hot beverage with dessert, especially in the artic temps we are experiencing this winter. I had nearly an hour drive home, and coffee would have been most appreciated. Oh well. So in summary, I would have expected this to be a five-star review all day long.
