Very bad service. I went to see why the high rating. I asked for slice of Margarita, He who look like the owner no we don't have any. I ask him do you have anything close to. No answer because he was glue to the TV, watching a soccer match. What's the matter for him? Do you want to sell pizza or watch a soccer match? Ok this place was unexpectedly amazing. My niece wanted chicken bacon ranch slices and we strolled in with low standards. Boy were we wrong. Tons of weekend slice options, fresh PERFECTION. I ventured outside my realm and got a taco slice because the veggies looked so fresh. My son got pepperoni. We walked out with extra to go for later because I COULDNT RESIST. PLUS everyone was so lovely, they saved me $ telling me about their specials (drinks included) and told me about their extensive selection of soups and winter menu. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! So freaking good, i honestly will travel from Flemington to get again. Dough is off the charts. So tasty! First and last... my order was pretty simple; Caesar salad with grilled chicken & no croutons; I even said grilled chicken twice to the young lady that took my order. Got home and my grilled chicken was a processed, fried, breaded chicken cutlet about 1/4" thick. I know this may not matter to many people but I'm gluten intolerant; the chicken and all lettuce that it was touching went right into the trash. Huge disappointment. Needed this place to be great and it was. My beloved pizza place in Frenchtown just burned down so the hankering for a Brooklyn Pie was ever so strong. Found the beauty of a square pie in two forms at the Pizza Village so boyfriend and I made our way. The Grandpa pie was decided upon enroute, so a quick browse in the salad section to start us off. Florentine - spinach, fresh mozzarella, roasted peppers, pine nuts, croutons, balsamic vin, delish / 10. Then Grandpa arrived. I knew at first sight it was going to be delicious and damn near perfect. Crisp glistening corners of crust, perfect sauce to cheese, and that basil pesto drizzles damn.... This was an unbelievable delicious pie that was even unbelievable delicious reheated in the toaster oven at work two days later. Last a shout out to Nina our server that evening who was sweet and greeted us when we arrived and left so kindly, and hustled the flow of folks that came in for slices and such. A must try, they make great pizzas. The grandma and grandpa pizzas are both a great break from traditional pizza and have a ton of flavor. The steaks are good, not great, but the loaded fries are to die for. The loaded fries are mozzarella fries with chopped up chicken fingers and a ranch sauce (usually get on the side). Very clean BYOB with a friendly staff and a quaint seating area, big enough for a few families to chow down at. Me and my friend Alex walked in there and didn't have enough for what we wanted, so we where just going to get one slice each and two drinks, which was a little over nine dollars. We where paying him and he just took 7, and then gives us each 2 SLICES!!! I can't remember the last time someone has been nice to me. I highly recommend this place. Pizza was delicious as always but the delivery driver was super late and looked like he was higher than a kite. The kid was twitching like he was on something while he gave me this creepy smile. The kid almost forgot to give me change and the sucks on his vape thing as he walks away. Then almost hits my mailbox with his little red honda as he backed out of a straight driveway.
