I've tried numerous pizzas here and they've all been great, though I do favor the hot/spicy ones (from which there are plenty to choose). Service is super-friendly. This weekend there were a couple young kids behind the counter and they did a great job! I go whenever I'm in Doylestown now, which is often. It's been awhile since I've had Jules pizza so I decided to order takeout recently. I ordered the honey sriracha chicken and butternut squash slices. The honey sriracha chicken is one of my all time favorites and it was still as delicious as I remembered. I thought the butternut squash was a unique flavor and I really enjoyed it, but I felt like it needed more butternut squash since it was not spread evenly throughout the slice. Stopped in earlier today and was excited to finally try Jules. The food had some great flavors (really enjoyed the Kim's Pie!), but the experience overall felt a little chaotic. The dining room could've used a quick tidy, and it seemed like there weren't quite enough staff to keep up with the crowd. I really like this location. Parking in the back in case you cannot find street parking. I personally prefer eating it there instead of takeout or delivery. My first visit to Jules and it did not disappoint. I decided to order the mini honey sriracha chicken and it was really delicious. The flavors were delicious and the ingredients tasted so fresh. I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the pizza. The website states that the mini serves just one person, but it is definitely a larger portion for one person. The mini was $10, but on the website it states that prices recently increased so I'm not sure if that is a typical price for their food. Overall, the pizza was good and fresh. I haven't been to Jules in probably over 5 years so I was shocked at still how great they are. It's really nice to get a more unique pie and they're cooked really well with fresh ingredients. I like that they also had what appeared to be seasonal specials. Another great feature is the various sizes you have to order from so you can pick the perfect size for you or your friends or family. I ordered the bruschetta one which was really fresh tasting and pretty classic. I also got a potato one with rosemary and sour cream, a little unusual for pizza but tasty. There were a lot of other flavors I'd want to try so I'll definitely be back. I also was super thankful at how accommodating the staff was to take our orders even though they were near closing. Came here from LA to see some friends and try their town's pizza. This place is pretty good. Prices are a tad high in my opinion but it's probably like that in most towns that are small like you see in the movies. I got the chicken pesto (I had them make) and the Meat Lovers. The chicken pesto was as dry as an old crusty piece of bread. Hated it. The Meat Lovers was very good as well as the Carbonara pizza and the Kim's pie were also both very good. They have a very good selection of pizzas and salads here. Drink selection is also good. I've had pizza all over the country due to work and traveling a lot. This place is 4 stars in my opinion. Very good but not the all time best. I do like how all their products and ingredients are organic and fresh grown. A huge plus for that. read more

Always a great place to get a good slice of pizza. This is in the shopping center of English Village and all the pizza's I have tried are amazing. I love to dine in since the pizza comes out on a cool wooden board and is steaming hot. Employees are really nice and make sure everything came out correctly. They also make suggestions if we have a hard time choosing what type of pizza I want. They have all types of flavors and also have some vegan options. They have vegan cheese as well if you want that you can ask them for it. Can't wait to be back to Jules have been back since the pandemic, but plan to swing by sometime this month. read more

It's great when they have the pizza you like out, but if they have to make it fresh they charge you extra! Sometimes they are VERY busy and almost have no pizza out on the counter so then you HAVE to pay extra for them to make it "fresh". They do have some great options when they actually have them out on the counter and the thin crust is nice if that's what you are into. I like the Mexican slice (great for non-cheese lovers since it only has a black bean spread on the bottom). Go mid-day during the week and you'll be fine, but weekends in the spring/summer it gets really busy and you'll have to pay extra for them to make it "fresh" for you. read more

I'll never visit this place again. One of the clerks was very rude. I'm Asian and It was my first time visiting there. So It took some time for me to figure out what kind of pizza is available, in which size it is served and how to pay for it. When I was ordering pizza to the clerk, he laughed at me. I felt so offended and frustrated that I couldn't even the clerk my credit card. What is worse is, our pizza was not prepared whil other consumers who came later than us receiced theirs. On a day trip passing through Doylestown we stopped at Jules Thin Crust Pizza. I figured with a name like that, they'd probably be able to deliver on what has become our latest obsession...thin pizza crust. I wasn't quite sure what to expect as we walked into the place. I thought it was going to be a little sit-down place w/a wood fired oven being tended by a pizzaioli...instead, it was like a Subways meets California Pizza Kitchen...but in a good way. Basically you pay by the slice and choose from a spread of at least a dozen or more pizzas already cooked up...tell them what you're after and they run it through a conveyor oven to crisp the dough up. I saw in another post the comment that these aren't real pizzas and I can kind of agree with that if your idea of pizza is circular, doughy, saucy and dripping molten threads of mozzarella (think Pizza Hut commercial). These are more like flatbread pizzas carved up & reheated for take-away customers like the pizza shops in Rome. The place seemed to be geared for handling lunch crowds but we found the service was cheerful and patient while we stared out blankly over the row upon row of pizzas to pick from. Of course, they had your traditional pork-centric pizzas, which looked really tasty..all the meat comes from hormone-free animals and they seemed to have a focus on quality ingredient. They had alot of veggie pies to choose from, as well as whole-wheat crust options. First, we picked a slice of the artichoke, basil & tomato white pizza...even with all the veg, the crust held up perfectly and it wasn't a gloppy mess as is so often the case with marinated artichoke toppings. Then we chose the more classic tomato & basil pizza...again, crunchy crust and flavorful toppings made for a great lunch...I wish they had one of these near my office so I could pop out for a slice at lunch. read more

We sampled the Mexican pizza with black beans and beefcrumbles, a light tomato, mozzarella and basil on whole wheat crust, a sausage and onion slice and a white ricotta slice with spinach. The flat breads are thin and light enough to be filling, but not heavy. I love the option of a thin crust and healthier pizza made with plenty of whole and fresh ingredients. I really love this place. This pizza is desert island good and I could eat it every day. The pizza has a light, crisp crust and the topping combos range from classic to innovative. They have a seasonal offering right now (spring 2012) with lemon vinaigrette, asparagus, ricotta, and shallots. Awesome. My old standby is another white pizza that includes ricotta, caramelized onions, edamame, and mint. Sounds a little weird maybe, but it's such a unique and flavorful combo. I typically order one or two slices, though one is usually enough after a couple sample bites of whatever my husband ordered. They don't have a lot in the way of beverages but what they have is sufficient for the type of meal being offered (plus, you can BYOB if you're so inclined). There is an wonderful Australian woman who works there --- she's knowledgeable and lightening fast. She seems to run the store. Returned to Jules recently, and I believe that they are keeping up the standards at the Doylestown location. First of all, they have wifi, which makes this a place where you can work and have lunch. You have to ask for the pwd, but it is available. Second, they have begun adding more pie combinations, and allowing the seasonal ingredients to drive them. I had a great summer squash pie ! Fresh & local zucchini ribbons, organic squash blossoms, chopped garlic cracked black pepper on a white mozzarella base with a dollop of ricotta cheese. Definitely deserve more consideration. Think of it as flatbread and not pizza if you have a hard time with the style. Whatever you call it, it is good food with great ingredients. read more
