    Magnolia tea

Another heytea location to the manhattan boba family! Aesthetically pleasing and clean store. Although small, service is quick. Drinks are consistent as other locations. I got the seasonal magnolia latte while hubby got the mango cloud drink. We both highly recommend. Hubby did no sugar for his and I did sugar. Both were satisfied

I stopped by this location in the East Village and had a mixed experience. The shop itself is TINY, so small that once you place your order, you basically have to wait outside because there's not enough space for others to come in and order. Unfortunately, they don't have any kind of speaker or system to call out names, so everyone waiting outside has to keep walking back in to check if their drink is ready. It made the whole process feel a bit confusing and inconvenient. All that aside, I really enjoyed their matcha bobo, I practically inhaled it before I even made it to my next stop. I just wish the pickup process was smoother because the drink itself was totally worth it.

I like that they use natural ingredients. I got the Coconut Mango Boom, which came out in about five minutes. When I tried it, it was quite different from what I expected. I looked at the label and realized the staff misheard me about the sugar level. I told him about it, and he apologized and made a new one for me right away. I appreciated that and was very satisfied with their service! The fresh mangoes were delicious. Mango powder can never compare to the rich flavor and texture from fresh mangoes this store provides! I also enjoyed their sago--it's different from the typical ones and has a more chewy texture. This was one of the best boba places I've been to so far. I'll definitely come back and tell all my friends about it!

My friend and I came here super thirsty and Hey Tea did not disappoint. We were a little sad that they were out of some of their guava & passionfruit items but we went ahead and made choices based on how thirsty we were. I went for the green grape boom. She went for one of the mango drinks. It was super refreshing with a hint of Jasmine t and lots of crushed green grapes all blended into a slush. I still can taste the freshness I know I'll be back soon. Hopefully they'll have the seasonal items before the menu changes.

This is one of the smaller locations, definitely more of a to-go situation. Drinks came out within a reasonable wait time and always love how light and refreshing the drinks are from Heytea! Probably one of my favorite boba chains.

The store is very small, so it's easier to wait outside for the order. I ordered the coconut mango boom. Wow this is such a refreshing, fruity drink if you love mango/coconut flavor profile. I especially loved the coconut pieces, sago, & brown sugar boba in it which added the extra texture.

Finally got to try Heytea, so yummy! I tried the Passion Fruit Blast, it's great for summer, very bright and refreshing! This location is very small, so you go in and order and then it's almost easier to stand outside waiting for your drink than inside. This location was very busy but I didn't have to wait too long for my drink to come out.

This Hey Tea location is definitely a lot smaller than the other ones in the city and Queens. Service was efficient and we didn't wait too long for our drinks. This location really just has room for 4 people to comfortably stand inside so it's pretty tight packed which is fine since most people are just getting their drinks to go. Their fruit tea tasted good as usual.

    Matcha Latte

The matcha latte was pretty good, but the taste of matcha was kinda minimal. The cheese foam tasted great. Service was pretty quick. It's a super small shop with no seating inside.

Came new for the grand opening BOGO deal and was 4th in line after waiting only around 40 min before opening. This HEYTEA location is definitely smaller than their other locations with no seating, serving as a grab and go place. I ordered my usual Grapefruit Mango Coconut Boom at less sweet and was given the NYC exclusive magnet for the grand opening promo. The drink was refreshing with chunks of sweet mango and chewy coconut jelly. It always hits the spot!

Great service and even better drinks! Try their Matcha Cloud Jasmine Latte - you won't be disappointed!

It was ok, I wasn't crazy for it. I've had better milk teas from other places. I'm more than willing to try again though. There were some interesting flavors. This place is also one of the more pricier milk tea spots in the city unfortunately. Paid $7 after a small discount. I'm more than willing to come back and try again. I recommend getting the plastic straw over the paper one as well. It might've ruined the experience for me a bit.

Tasty and can taste the tea flavor. The brown sugar milk tea is milky. I went during there grand opening events, there were giving away magnets for the first 3 days and tote bags until the end of the month.

Awesome mulberry. Great place. Nice location. 10/10

I've never been to a yogurt store that makes you pay a set price first before selecting toppings, which also means toppings are limited based on the yogurt size (something I only realized later after looking at a picture I took in the store). The employee who was supposed to help me immediately gave me attitude, as if I was supposed to already know all the "rules" of the store. I said nothing that would have warranted that reaction -- I simply went over to the display. At the register, I scanned my rewards app then couldn't find the card reader to pay. After about 20 seconds, I realized it was sitting on top of a case of water bottles (pictured). The topping limit signage was also placed off to the side of the register where customers wouldn't naturally see it -- it wasn't even on my side and was partially blocked. I only found this out when I went up to the counter after I got my yogurt. While choosing toppings, I asked how many I was allowed, and she responded, "How many toppings do you think you're supposed to choose?" with a noticeably rude tone. When I chose cookie dough as my fourth topping, she only gave me a few pieces, dropped another on the counter (pictured), and ignored it. The cookie dough topping was stale too. I also noticed she did not seem to treat other customers the same way. I eventually went back to the register - I asked her if the yogurt was actually strawberry matcha because it tasted like vanilla. I also asked about her rudeness because I genuinely didn't understand why I was being treated that way for asking simple questions. She said the information was "on the wall," even though it was difficult to see. I actually ended up apologizing earlier because she made me feel like I was burdening her. The only personable thing she said the entire interaction was that I didn't need to apologize, but the tone still felt unfriendly. Two customers sitting nearby ended up leaving without ordering. I understand it was Super Bowl Sunday and she appeared to be working alone, which may have contributed to stress. Still, I left feeling extremely shaken and even spilled yogurt on my jacket afterward. I would not return to this location. I used to come to this location sometimes, but after this experience -- and a previous visit where I ordered a tea and received very little -- I would not return.

Ahh, grass jelly loeng4 fan2 涼粉 is my childhood favorite dessert and summons nostalgia! It is my mission to search for bubble tea businesses that offers grass jelly as a topping for my primary reason to patronize. It was abundant which filled one quarter of my medium sized drink. The grass jelly topping is New York City standard priced at $0.50 at least there is sustainability and a sense of normalcy. I requested regular ice, but the entire ice dispensed disappointedly melted and the drink became room temperate. Heat wave medium $6.00 Passionfruit green tea with grass jelly, 50%, light sugar. The drink alone was good quality. While scanning the electronic menu the drink names appear very comical and not business appropriate as well as this bubble tea business name Ho Ho Te. The sound speakers is boisterously loud blasting music directly at my face by the ordering counter. The cashier associate was 90% inaudible of her customer service questions due to the boisterously loud blasting music as I had to fight loud vs. loud by blurting loudly several times: "WHAT?" Why would a business intentionally place sound speakers in front of a ordering counter station where customers must communicate their food/drink orders? How can customers place their drinks orders with clear specific description/instructions only for the cashier associate to inadvertently obfuscate by misinformation because the message conveyed was utterly misinterpreted? Communication is vital for ordering and order fulfillment accuracy in the food service industry! The cardboard paper straws available are environmentally sustainable friendly for biodegradable and compostable. However, these cardboard straws taste AWFULl!! The drink selection is very limited menu compared with other bubble tea competitors. Disappointedly there is no Jasmine green tea on the menu. There are some food items. Takeout menus are available for grabs. Loyalty card is available which also serve as business card where the back is printed in gold foil. This business is very accessible by MTA NYC Transit at Port Authority 42nd Street's A, C, E trains and buses near the peripheral of Times Square.
