My friend introduced me to HeyTea, now I'm addicted. My favorite is the guava green grape because I haven't had a chance to try other flavors. I like this HeyTea on street more because it's more spacious and always has seating. The staff members also gave me suggestions for orders. Orders are ready super fast and I love this store. I wish they can open one on Long Island.
Bubble bubble! Bubble tea! Quick on the go bubble tea! Location: it is located along Main St Flushing, few seatings inside and bit crowded. Service: not much interaction, I just ordered on the app and wait for my bubble tea. It took so long tho like 30 mins. Food: I ordered Cloud matcha latte and supreme brown sugar bobo milk tea. Both of them are good but not great. Typical bubble tea. The boba is good tho and chewy. Price rating: 8 out of 10. Around $8 for 1 bubble tea. I will probably try their other flavors. Hopefully to not wait long.
I always see Heytea so I decided to try it very busy there was a 15 minute wait but very friendly. There were so many options I didn't know what to get so I ended up going with brown sugar Boba in my order they didn't have one of the ingredients for my Boba so they switched it with something else which It was still good I enjoyed it.
King jasmine guava $8- Got the bogo, this was better than the pistachio jasmine. We could taste the guava, altho we still wish both the guava (more raw, less sweet) & the jasmine were a bit stronger. Also I asked for no ice but they gave me ice.
Like idk what ever drink I got had 0 flavor and was mostly ice I would not recommend I guess it nice that there was seating but it was all occupied by food delivery lol
You know I do enjoy the drinks from here. They have this blue mango coconut drink for the summer and it's interesting. I can not really taste the what it is exactly but it's not bad. Honestly most of the drinks are pretty good but wait times for once you place an order is very slow. Sometimes not many people are there and still take an awfully long time. It's like the staff works slow on purpose.
This will be my last time visiting this branch. I ordered a drink through the app, and when it showed "ready for pickup," I went to the store--only to find my tea wasn't even started. The line for both orders and pickups was extremely long, and the whole place felt chaotic. The staff looked overworked, especially with complicated buy-one-get-one matcha drink orders. I didn't even use the deal, yet my time (and everyone else's) was wasted. If the store is this busy, the app should be turned off instead of making customers wait endlessly. I had to stand in line again just to ask for a refund, and the cashier told me they couldn't process it--I had to contact the app. After reaching out to the app, they said to call the merchant for verification. A painful back-and-forth with zero accountability. I've never had to wait over 30 minutes for a simple drink. Completely unacceptable. Wuxian Tea makes my order and delivers with a smile in under 5 minutes. That's where I'll be going from now on. Bye bye heytea Main St branch!
Spacious entrance with minimalistic decor. Got pretty busy after we got there. The small printed menu is in front of the cashier which did hold up the line as we were deciding. A bit of wait for our drinks. Can see the order status from a screen. My guava purple grape drink was perfect at 30% sugar (70% was recommended and would've been too sweet for me), with hint of guava and grape bits to chew on. Found out about their app after so I signed up - have to place orders for rewards, got an instant offer.
Wanted bubble tea and was in the area so we came in. My friend ordered ahead on an app but I ordered when we got in. They have a large menu you can select from. The place is huge, super shiny, and comfy to sit and enjoy your tea. I had the red blossoms milk tea and it was so good I wish I had more! It came out super quick and was ice cold. Can't wait to try more offerings!
How can it be that my first Heytea is in New York? I'm not sure, but it be! I had their Yumberry, and it was AMAZING. What's a yumberry? To be honest, I still don't know, but it is a very yum berry. In an attempt to get out of my comfort zone, I even added foam (I hate foam), and it was tastier than expected! Heytea, get me - some. Can't wait to return for more yumberry drinks! Staff? Quick with service though little interaction outside of yelling out order numbers. All orders were quick with self-service kiosks, and the location was fairly clean and quiet on a weekday night. Lighting was amazing for photos and conversations, lending to a "light" - no pun intended - atmosphere.
After schlepping my bags from the airport to my hotel, I needed a bubble tea pick me up, which this place happily provided. I got one of their signature drinks, a supreme brown sugar bobo milk tea with regular ice and regular sugar. It was delightful. The beverage was rich, sweet, and creamy, and the boba was perfectly chewy and soft. There was also some nice saltiness from the rich foam to complement the sweetness of the brown sugar. The shop itself was clean with minimalist decor and some comfortable seating next to much needed outlets. And though the shop was busy, the service was quick and friendly.
I love Heytea's fruit drinks! My two favorites are the Mango grapefruit boom and the Mango Coconut Boom. They're always so refreshing and so yummy. I really enjoy the small tapioca along with the coconut jelly. The mango chunks are also always sweet and good quality overall. I customize it to have minimal sugar and it still tastes great. I'd recommend to download the app and do pickup so you won't have to wait too long in lines. I knocked one star off because it is pricey, almost $9 for a large size but nowadays with all the drink spots around flushing, it's pretty standard.

This is hands down my favorite boba spot in flushing. The interior is nice and spacious and I like the white theme. The workers are always busy here because of how popular it is but drink orders come out very quickly. If you order a drink, you have to try the ones with mango because the mangos here taste perfectly ripe. The drinks are all have the perfect amount of sweetness and I am so addicted to coming back every time I'm in flushing. read more
Believe the hype for this one! I've tried three drinks before writing this review and all three are 10/10 stars. I love the space, very minimalist and leaves so much room for the ordering line and waiting area while still having decent amount of seating. The wait time to order is much longer (one cashier), but getting your drinks is faster (under 10 minutes). I've counted on both occasions that they have at least 9 staff at a time. But even if the wait was longer, the drinks are soo worth. Cheese Grape Boom: I can't choose between this and the coconut mango as which is my favorite, because this one is so fruity and refreshing and tasty, while the other is more dessert like. I LOVE the cheese foam too, and it works more for the grape one. Coconut Mango Boom Tea: this is sooo creamy/smooth it's essentially a dessert! Could not stop drinking. I don't really think a cheese foam is necessary for this one and it tastes so good already that I can't imagine adding another element to it but let's see at my next visit Grapefruit Mango Boom Tea: this one is really good too but the grapefruit balances out the creaminess so you get a bit of tart/bitterness from the grapefruit that makes this more of fruit drink than dessert read more

I did not get to visit HeyTea during its grand opening week, but perhaps it's for the better because the lines were very long. I am a very big fan of their Midtown location so I was pleased to see them expand to another borough. The Flushing location is much more spacious and actually has seating, which I really like. The one in Manhattan barely has any space for you to wait and the register is located at the end of the store so the layout is a little strange. I actually made it to their second week of opening, so there was still a tote bag promotion going on which I thought was quite nice. As always, I highly recommend their signature grape boom tea ($6.99) which is a grape slushie blended with fresh grapes and tea, with peeled grape bits and jelly on the bottom. I also tried the strawberry boom tea ($6.49) which was quite sweet and had a rich strawberry flavor, with a strawberry purée and jelly at the bottom as well. I would highly recommend coming early as the store does get slammed by noon. The staff does a great job at pushing through orders but I would expect an average wait time of about 10+ min after ordering. I also think having the menu displayed up front would help move lines quicker as the only menu available currently is the one at the register so a lot of new customers don't have a chance to decide on what they want to order beforehand. read more

Heytea is my favorite go to tea place in NYC and since the Manhattan locations are always crowded, I'm glad I get to go to the one in Flushing. This location was quite large with a lot of seating. I ordered the Yayoi Kusama collab drink Mango Grapefruit Boom (jasmine green tea, grapefruit pulp, mango juice, mango puree, coconut milk, sago, coconut milk jelly). I ordered on the app and it was ready by the time I got there. The Yayoi Kusama cup was cute and made of high quality plastic. The Mango Grapefruit Boom drink was fresh and not too sweet. I really like the coconut milk jelly since it's chewy but still soft. The staff were very nice. I'll definitely be back! read more
I couldn't bring myself to wait in the long lines when HeyTEA first opened, but I'm glad to try it out during this summer heat! When you walk inside, you are hit with the lovely scent of tea. I ordered the Original Grape Boom ($6.99). The jasmine green tea base was strong and floral, the grape slush was refreshing, and I like how they include real grape chunks. Personally, I would have rather them added more grape and less jelly. Interior is very big and spacious, but there is only seating along the sides of the store. There's a screen next to the front counter showing the order numbers when what is ready for pick-up. read more

Heytea makes its way to Flushing. Known as the originator of the new-style tea. With no artificial flavors. I'm always for the real deal. They are massively popular in China, and lines were insane when they opened their first US store in Manhattan. I've never seen such lines for tea/boba. . I see the hype. The drinks are really good and fresh. Fresh fruits and real tea. I understand why it's so popular. . Their menu is massive so you're not really having to choose the correct drink. I think every drink sounds delectable. read more

This is becoming my fave summer drink spot! I love their Mango Coconut Boom with tiny white tapioca pearls! Its the perfect blend of sweetness and the pearls are much more enjoyable to chew on than the typical regular sized bubbles. Their decor is minimalistic with white and ecru color combination. As soon as you enter, there is this heavenly scent of jasmine (?) or gardenia (?) which I absolutely enjoy. I've never been excited to enter a store because of the scent-sory experience *wink* but this is the only store that has ever made me this way LOL. I want to know what they use! I stopped by here on a friend's recommendation, since Heytea is a very popular in mainland China. The few times I've passed by this location, I'd see it was very busy, with a long line of customers waiting to order or a group of people just hanging out with their drinks. When I finally got a chance to stop in, it was a Sunday night, so there weren't as many people, maybe 1-2 people on line to order every few minutes. The first thing I noticed when walking in was the interior. It was very spacious and minimalistic, so I can see why people like to spend their time here. I ordered a Coconut Mango Boom (~$8). I thought it was just okay. The mango was fresh, but I was surprised by how watered down it felt, especially since I expected the coconut milk to give the drink a creamy consistency. The drink was refreshing nonetheless, but given that it was listed as one of their top five favorite drinks, I'm a little disappointed. Maybe I'll give this place another try in the future, but I think there are much better boba spots around. read more
Super busy but it was efficiently run and we got our order placed quickly. I got the strawberry mulberry boom which has a lot of fruit. Their cardboard straws disintegrated too easily and made it hard to stir the slushie. They have seating to the side for waiting on drinks but overall mostly to go drinks. read more

Wow HeyTea is in Flushing!! They opened their first US store in Midtown West at the end of 2023 and less than six months later, their second location is now open a few minutes away from Flushing Main Street. I got to try the HeyTea for the first time at this location during their grand opening promo while their BOGO deal was running. My friend and I both got the cheese grape boom tea and it was refreshing and delicious. The jasmine green tea base was very floral and it contrasted the creamy cheese foam. I also enjoyed the jelly and real grape chunks included in the drink. It'd be nice if you could customize the toppings inside, but I understand it's because they have signature drink and it makes making the drinks easier. read more
My friend recommended this place so I had to go try. This used to be M Tea, so I knew the space would be big and open. I ordered from the cashier since the place was empty with no lines. The description of the drinks sounds like there's way too much going on at least for me. There were a lot of drinks so I asked for the most popular drinks. I was told the BOOM drinks are the most popular. I ordered the Mango grapefruit Boom, and I was so disappointed. I got it 50% sugar, but it was still really sweet. I hated the taste and the texture of jelly they put in. I wished they hadn't put it in. There wasn't much mango flavor either. I came with a friend and she ordered a strawberry flavored drink and my friend hated it. My go-to for Mango pomelo drink is Yifang, and I will be going back to Yifang. There was no excuse for Heytea for messing up these drinks as it was empty. They had 6 workers. read more
Overall a much more spacious place with a shorter waiting line compared to their Prince Street location. You can order on the app for some reward points. It's spacious with few tables available though--mostly standing room oddly. The wait still usually will take 10-15 minutes on weekend nights. I got the mango coconut cloud which came in the new yayoi kusama packaging they just rolled out. It's a nice design but to me seems like the portion size is a bit small for my taste. The drink tastes nice and elevated--kind of like the Hui Lau Shan mango coconut with a background of a fragrant tea flavor. Is it worth it tho? Their price is a bit high with sort of a wait. New bubble tea addition to Flushing Main St and they did not disappoint. The menu is not too big to overwhelm you and had enough selections for people to find something. There is a screen on the wall that tells you which numbers are being served, orders in progress and estimated wait time. The mango coconut was creamy, tangy and great amount of toppings. The grape boom had real pieces of peeled grape, the flavor didn't taste artificial and it was refreshing. read more

Hey Tea used to be a booming spot with lines out the door but now it's empty and I'm not complaining because I don't have to wait long for my drinks now. They also have a 2nd location that's smaller on prince street with more foot traffic. I usually get the boom grape drink but wanted to try their matcha series. Got a l 70% sugar matcha Jasmine green tea. It wasn't the greatest matcha I've had but it was ok. I would get it again for the price that was $8 and change. I'll stick to the boom grape drink. read more

Pretty solid tea shop with many staple drinks for you to choose from. I got the coconut mango boom with was very refreshing. The proportions of the mango, coconut milk, and tapioca were well-balanced and none of the flavors were overpowering one another. I got my drink with less sugar and it was just right--for those who enjoy an even milder sweetness, I could see half sugar being alright as well. The inside of the tea shop seemed pretty sterile and empty to me, I wish there was more seating and bigger tables to allow people to chat or get work done. read more

The line for Heytea is usually insanely long. My partner's been here 3 times with friends (that's 3 times without me!), and when we finally went, he had me pull up their menu first, warning me that other people would get mad if we deliberated at the counter for too long. To our surprise, there was no line when we entered, but hey, I ain't complaining. * Supreme Brown Sugar Bobo Milk Tea $7.99 Heytea is known for its Brown Sugar Bobo series which uses real milk and no artificial creamers. We tried their Supreme Brown Sugar Bobo Milk Tea--made with their signature brown sugar "bobo", premium red blossom black tea, creamy milk and a salted cream cheese milk cap--and, while I wouldn't go so far as to say it's original, it definitely was tasty. * Coconut Mango Boom $6.49 Again, not original, but incredibly delicious and refreshing. You can really taste the fresh mango and premium coconut milk, and the sago and crystal boba were chewy and delicious. read more

Popular China bubble tea chain made it to NYC, and I'm not sure if it's the existing reputation or the grand opening marketing in a crowded neighborhood, but the lines were insane during Grand Opening! Either way, target audience was reached! Lining up is probably the most foolish thing I've done for a deal, because we waited over 2 hours for some discounted drinks, and it's just not worth it, no matter how good. Despite the lengthy queue, the workers did a great job in managing the line, helping us decide our orders beforehand to speed up the process, and having a ton of workers making the drinks in the back. There was a separate cash and credit card line, and order numbers were displayed electronically. For the drinks themselves, their Mango Grapefruit Boom Tea ($7.49) is a fitting choice if your go-to is usually the mango sagos. The inclusion of grapefruit is new and unique tasting. I got the Grape Boom Tea ($6.99) to myself, and it was good at first, with refreshing grape chunks in each sip. But then the water from the ice starts melting into the drink towards the end,, and something, either the water or grapes, start leaving a bad aftertaste, I will continue to get my fresh grape fruit tea fix elsewhere, but the fact Heytea pride themselves in real fruits and real cane sugar is worth considering for your next bubble tea trip. read more

Good location and clean environment. My friend and I got their Mulberry Strawberry Boom. We both got regular ice while mine had less sugar! I thought the "less sugar" was still very sweet so I could have gone with even less sugar. There was a line but the employees were working quickly to provide service. The drinks were extremely refreshing and are my go-to at HeyTea. If you like fruit tea with whole fruit, you'll definitely like it here! Otherwise, would recommend trying one of their other blended or milk tea options. read more
This is definitely my new favorite tea chain! I first tried the Cheese Mango Boom and enjoyed it so much that I came back later at night to try the Coconut Mango Boom. I'm a huge lover of mango drinks and I have to say that Heytea's is one of the best that I've had so far. The tea and fruits used are very high quality. It's nice that you can also order on an app ahead of time for pickup later. This is a must stop for me whenever I'm in Flushing. read more
I tried the grape tea and the mango pomelo sago drink. The grape tea slush was unique and pretty tasty - just a lil on the icier side. The mango pomelo sago was pretty sweet and creamy, but I've had better. I think it could've been tangier maybe w more mango puree and creamier w more coconut milk. read more

Got the grape boom tea and it was fairly good. There was a nice amount of jelly and grape toppings. Not a huge fan of the paper straws as it makes it more difficult to drink out of. The jelly cubes were a bit too large for the straw. It was busy when I went in the afternoon so wait time is around 8-10 minutes. Lots of seating if you want to sit down for photos or conversations. read more
Came during their grand opening and felt the drinks were a bit underwhelming. I had high expectations since I heard a lot about this and been to the time square one too. I felt the texture were a bit different but honestly not bad. The service was amazing and they were all working hard to produce so many drinks during the grand opening. Though the wait took 2 hours, it may feel a bit not worth but I'm sure the wait would get shorter and the drinks would still be of high quality. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area! read more

Guess very creative in the flavor wise. My colleague likes Heytea a lot, the flavor tastes good. Fruit is fresh But I would say very little tea inside? Thus can't tell the tea quality either read more

Probably the best fruit tea boba I've ever had. I ordered the mango boba and it tasted so fresh! It tasted like real mangos! Perfect drink for a hot day. There were plenty of seats, but it was super packed. I highly suggest to order on the app/website ahead of time. We had about 6 drinks and it took about 30 min to get our order. There's a Manhattan location as well! Wait time will probably be longer so order ahead of time! 10/10 I do recommend read more

I love this place. The menu is very limited, however that doesn't matter because all the drinks are good. My fave is the grape drink. Taste so fresh and not overly sugary at all. The service is good. If there is a lot of people they do take long obviously but it's whatever tbh. Nowhere to sit really but it's also whatever lol. I really like the cups as well they are so cute. read more
