Order: coconut mango blue - love this one, it's giving tropical with that nice coconut flavor coming through and the mango giving it that nice sweetness. I love the sago in the drink. The coconut mango boom screams summer. This drink is so refreshing and so very good! If you're a mango fan, you have to try this one. Again with the sago, it's just a 10/10 drink. The brown sugar drink was such a treat. Great ration on everything, no complaints, just go try! This spot is super busy, drinks were coming out right and left. So customer service is not quite there because they are sooo busy making drinks. There is a self ordering kiosk. There are screens displaying the status of your order, in progress or finished. So it's pretty effective for the customers. The space is nice! It's like givinf that indoor outdoor feel because there's a tree inside and the ceiling is really high . Overall, I would come back. It's located right in the middle of the plaza.
It's super popular and can have a long wait during peak hours but it's consistently worth the wait for teh quality fo the drinks. The digital ordering system and counter setup keep things really efficient so the long lines move quickly. It can get crowded and lively but its always manageable.
I absolutely love the cloud grape from Heytea. It's sweet enough and so refreshing on a hot day. The cloud top foam has a nice saltiness to it and makes the drink creamy. The service is efficient. It was really crowded when we got there, but mostly everyone waiting for their drinks and there was no line to order. The drinks took about 20 mins to make. The ambiance is modern and clean. There's a lot of seating, but mostly everyone waiting took a good amount of seats. The parking is limited since there's plenty of business in the complex.
This place was fully packed with people so the staff was super diligent about getting the drinks out. This was in the heart of Main Street Cupertino so it was in the middle of all the action. I didn't know what to get so I went with the basic original cloud jasmine tea. It was quite refreshing and the cloud on top really did the job. I drank it all before I even left the store! It was so good!
One of my two favorite boba place! And I love that we can order on the app. I also love that you can draw something and use it for your cup! Service is always good, although it can't take a few minutes to get your order because they're always busy. Bright and casual with indoor and outdoor seating.
Ordered the Cloud Matcha Latte. The wait was ridiculous, 25 minutes for one drink. Another group got their drinks before me even though they walked in a little later than I. Molly Tea is literally across the street, and I've never waited more than 15 minutes. The first time I came here months ago, the drink was better. This time I got the zero-cal sweetener, so maybe that's why? I'll give them credit, it didn't taste like artificial sweetener. Also, my Cloud Matcha Latte with extra matcha barely tasted like matcha. Maybe it was an off day, but between the long wait and the drink not being as good or caffeinated. I'd go to Molly Tea instead.
This Hey Tea location is BUSY! We waited over 30min for 4 drinks. The drinks tasted just like all the other Hey Tea locations in CA. The best tasting drinks are located in China. The inside is quite small, so we had to wait outside. Fortunately, there's plenty of other shops nearby. So we were able to pickup other deserts while our drinks were being prepared. The staff were all busy, so no interactions. We used the kiosk to place our orders.
It was very busy when I went here last year. Waited in line and honestly didn't know how to order because the menu is nowhere to be seen. The screens up top did have pictures of some of their drinks, but a full menu would make more sense. Their menu is actually located at the cashier. After I ordered, I sat down and directed two confused customers (like me) where to find the menu. I ordered the triple matcha. I believe it was around $8, a bit pricey but I was willing to try it if it was good matcha. I didn't mind waiting but I think they forgot my order because every customer after me got their drink first orrr someone took it since they just place the drinks on the counter without announcing the numbers. People are free to grab it and go. Finally got my drink and matcha flavor was on the lighter side. Not sure if I would visit again, there was just too much inconveniences for a just okay matcha.
Tasted quite watered down and more of a teay flavor. I think the strawberry flavoring is very mild due to it just being the powder sprinkled at the top. Overall drink was just alright. Didn't actually take too long to order and have the drink ready. Inside is super busy like usual but we also came on a sat so not surprised. Lots of seating outside which is nice.
Can't believe they opened a Heytea in Main Street!!! My go to is always the kale boost tea, and honestly with no sugar, the drink is already sweet. It feels healthy yet tastes very yummy. I feel like their jasmine milk tea at this location is not as good as their other locations, but it might just be this one time. It was really watered down and not that floral. The slushies at this location are also a little more watered down in my opinion, so I really just stick to the kale boost tea here.
My first time here at HeyTea, and I already love it! My favorite drink is usually the matcha, but today I decided to try something new and ordered a mango drink. It was so yummy, refreshing, and perfect for a hot summer day.This location was very busy, so it took a little while to get our drinks, but it was definitely worth the wait. The staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The location is in a great area, and the atmosphere is pleasant and inviting. I will definitely be coming back to try more drinks!
First time trying this location. I really like the ambiance inside & outside of this location. We came early in the afternoon and it wasn't as busy. Their drinks are pretty spot on compared to other locations.
Came here to order the cloud grape crisp. The cream cheese foam on top has a yummy salty flavor and the grape flavor is prominent with real grape pieces inside. Service was quick, ordered through the ipad and waited roughly 17 min for 6, but they do grind it out. Ambiance inside is aesthetic and high ceilings so it feels airy. Scenery around has green grass and a fresh feeling
Heytea! I came for some boba, por favor! A friend and I tried visiting the Heytea in Milpitas one afternoon only to find the wait was over an hour, so we went elsewhere. The wait here was similar on a weekend afternoon; about 45-50 minutes for my one $12 drink. The staff are friendly. I'm unsure if the drink-making process is efficient, as many customers appeared to become impatient while waiting. However, since it's a newer establishment with multiple locations, it might just be the hype and a surge of patrons eager to try it. The wait was worth it. I ordered the Cloud Longjing Milk Tea with boba. The sugar level was reduced significantly per my preference, since boba tends to add sweetness. The milk tea was well made and so refreshing! Per the menu, the drink consists of Golden Longjing Tea + Milk + Matcha Cloud + Viennese Cream. It was delicious! It's worth the wait if you're patient, since everything is freshly prepared with quality. read more
This is a pretty new location that's opened in the Main Street Cupertino complex. The store is decent size with quite a lot of seating. It's strange that there's no kiosk available to order ourselves. You'll have to order at the register with the cashier. I can imagine it'll be a long line when it's crowded. Both Grapefruit Boom and Crisp Grape Boom are very good and refreshing. They're not overly sweet either. read more

Went to try the Heytea spot in Main street cupertino. I had heard a lot about this place. I ordered a Matcha cloud blue since I saw some orders before mine and this drink looked so pretty!! I wasn't disappointed at all. It tasted amazing.. so refreshing and balanced. The coconut jelly in the drink was so soft and tasted very fresh. Matcha cloud is their signature matcha cream cheese mix and it's amazing! This location is Inside Main St., Cupertino. The ambience is great, but it could get a little loud in here. So it's not an ideal place for work or having conversations. I went on a long weekend Monday so the wait times were crazy. Also, because they have online order pouring in constantly, when I got in there to place my order, they told me the wait time was 40 minutes! But totally worth the wait :) Highly recommend this cutest tea shop. I'd be going here again and trying the other drinks on the menu. read more

Cupertino can't get enuff balls. There's always a hot new boba shop opening with lines. Heytea, a Chinese tea chain has over 4,000 locations and is rapidly growing with upcoming Stonestown (SF) and Fremont locations. The drinks have been pretty consistent across the five locations I've tried in the bay. Drinks aside, their Cupertino location? OOOF. It's SO poorly managed and disorganized. It's been 5 months since they opened and IMO, it's still a hot mess (at least on the weekends). It's a stressful job so it's not on the young staff... it's a management issue. (+) Largest location with plentiful indoor and outdoor seating (keeps us coming back). (+) Dog-friendly. (-) Staff look stressed and unhappy. (-) HELLA slow (despite many staff). Drinks take forever. When ordering on the app, they're always running way behind the ETA. (-) Poor inventory control; e.g. the Kale Boost has been out 6 out of my 7 visits. (-) Dirty, sticky tables and the floor near the courtyard entrance is always wet. I've nearly slipped and have seen multiple employees slip but catch their fall. I didn't plan on posting a review but on my last visit, they were out of EVERYTHING except plain tea. No toppings. They were out of every single one. No cloud cream. No fruits. No veggies. Cashier said, they wouldn't get a shipment for another 3-4 days. There was no sign posted outside to notify customers. No note/nothing crossed out on the menu. Online ordering was off. Customers only found out after waiting in line and attempting to order at the register. Let's hope they get it together in 2026! read more
This location was so busy and the wait took awhile to receive the drink, but it was worth it. Most of the patrons were smart enough to order through their mobile app. While it took 12 minutes to receive our drinks, we appreciated the amount of seats that were available. The staff was making for me non stop, but they were really kind. The cashier suggested I try the Matcha drink. I was wired after. I am a huge fan of Hey Tea and was so happy to see that they were now in Cupertino! Though the area can be a bit difficult to find parking, there is plenty in the garage. I typically order my drinks ahead on the app, so pick up is easy. Stopped in for lunch, ordered on the app and didn't have to wait too long despite the lunch rush they were having. I would say maybe 10 minutes? The interior is clean with lots of seating, they also have a small patio area. Got the Kale Slim Boost tea and thought it was a perfect pick-me-up refresher for mid day. Doesn't taste "green" and have a refreshing, bright, citrus flavor to it. The chia seeds give the drink a little fiber as well. Nice light taste! It comes in a small mason-style plastic bottle. Staff here was quick and friendly. Def will be back! read more

20 min wait after ordering one drink. The drink itself was fine but far from worth the wait. Store clearly needs to work through their operations. I asked the lady twice about my drink before hitting the 20 min mark, third request the drink was ready along with a few others that they hadn't called out. Would not come back unless you order ahead online or want to waste some time at Miniso until your order is ready. read more
Just came back from China and glad to see Heytea in the Bay. As one of the top and most popular tea chain's in China, I can see why. Their drinks are fantastic and high quality. We tried their crisp grape boom and cloud green grape. Both were very different even though they're grape. The crisp grape is more fruity while the cloud grape has a nice milky touch. I personally enjoyed the cloud green grape more so will definitely get that again next time. Our drinks took a while since it was a busy night but there's ample seating inside. read more

Great Boba tea varieties and clean establishment. Lots of places to sit and the staff are very professional and friendly. Great tasting coco mango bloom. If in Cupertino, this is the place to get it. Not the lowest price in the Bay Area, but good for what you get. read more
Heytea has become widespread throughout the Bay Area. Their drinks are consistent at every location and offering is super easy via their app. Wait times are still long (20+ minutes) so always worth ordering ahead of time. The Triple Surpreme Matcha Latte is filled with matcha galore. Matcha mochi, matcha jelly, and matcha latte are all in the cup and overall makes a delectable drink. Coconut Mango Boom has a great mango flavor with coconut milk. It is definitely one i'd the most popular choices at Heytea. We'll be returning! The ambiance outside makes it a great place to catch up with friends. read more
This location is CRAZY BUSY on the weekends! Especially after a lunch rush in Main Street... the line is out the door and online ordering tends to be paused. However, the staff here are so nice! They are working very quickly and want to ensure you like your drink. I recommend the Mango Boom or Oat Matcha Bobo! Both are clearly made with high quality ingredients. And honestly, they just taste good :) read more
I really liked the coconut mango boom drink. You order at a self kiosk so it's pretty simple and wait until your number appears on the screen for your order to be ready. The mango tastes so fresh with it actually having mango pulp pieces, coconut milk, coconut jelly, and sago throughout each sip. It was very refreshing and tasty to drink. The interior of the shop is decorated nicely and there's lots of areas to sit inside and outside. read more
After enjoying some ramen at a local restaurant, my wife and I decided to grab a drink before heading home. HeyTea caught our attention and when a boba and tea café takes up an entire building in the middle of Cupertino Square, it definitely stands out and invites you to give it a try. The place has a striking, modern mid-century vibe and is well-lit inside. Since it was a cloudy evening and starting to get dark, it almost felt like we were peering into a glass house. We didn't realize we needed the HeyTea app to order, but the staff at the counter were very helpful and placed our order for us. My wife chose the Matcha Coconut Cloud Blue, while I went with a Triple Supreme Matcha Latte...clearly, we were in a matcha mood and wanted something refreshing, not too heavy, after a ramen dinner. We appreciated that the app provided a timer, letting us know about the 30-minute wait time. That gave us the chance to explore more of what Cupertino Square had to offer while we waited. Both drinks were fantastic, I happen finished my Triple Supreme Matcha Latte before I even made it back to the car, and I couldn't resist trying a bit of my wife's as well during the drive home. Really delicious, fresh milk tea and smoothies! Tried their blue spirulina coconut mango sago drink and it was so fresh and delicious, comparable to Hui Lau Shan. Is usually quite crowded though, service is as expected. Ambiance would be nice and trendy if it were more spacious. I'll definitely return! read more

I have already been here for so many times. Their menu has some standard items and some really interesting ones. So far, I like jasmine milk tea and the mango drink the best. I have tried some special berry one and that was great too. Cashiers there are always very patient and explain the menu well to us. But I have to say the wait is really long. The baristas also don't really say the number and just leave the drinks on the table. I think it's better to order on the app because you can track your order. Love the main street area. The shop itself has many seating space inside. Outside have some benches too. Parking is easy. read more
My second time at heytea and so far it's been good, the drinks taste healthier and not as sugar laden, but use real ingredients like real mango. My only gripe is with heytea is that the menu isn't on display for everyone to see, it's only by the register so you don't know what you want (unless you've been here before). Also there's no description of what each one is on the menu. So ordering takes extra long and the lines can be crazy. This could all be remedied with menus on the tv screens, not just by the register. Overall tho, the drinks are delicious. I tried the Apple kale which was yummy and healthy and today I tried their most popular drink, coconut mango boom. You request for drinks to be caffeine free. Not all drinks but many of them. I stopped by Heytea on Tuesday for their BOGO deal and decided to try the Jasmine Tea Latte, adding $1 for the Matcha Cloud. Unfortunately, it really wasn't worth it. The drinks looked nice, but they were very watery and lacked flavor -- I could barely taste the jasmine or any creaminess from the milk. For the price (around $6.50 each, plus the extra charge), I expected something much more balanced and aromatic. The presentation and cups were actually really nice -- sleek design and good quality -- but that was probably the highlight. The drink itself was bland and forgettable. I wouldn't order it again, even with a promotion. read more

I never thought I'd come to this location because this plaza is notoriously busy and parking is so difficult to find. On a Monday afternoon, however, parking was not too bad! And the store itself didn't have a huge wait despite a BOGO promotion, though there were definitely a lot of people seated outside enjoying their drinks. I will say that out of all the heytea locations, this one has the best ambiance and seating areas to enjoy your drinks. The other ones barely have any seating at all, but there are outdoor tables and seats, benches around the grassy area across from Philz. It was so relaxing despite all the people around, but I know I would definitely not come here on a weekend. I got the matcha cloud coconut aqua with coconut jelly as part of the BOGO promo; conclusion is that I wouldn't get it again. It tasted like purely coconut water, no matcha flavor. The jelly was nice, and the drink was beautiful but I'd prefer to get something else. read more

This place is a joke.. waited over an hour for 4 drinks... 1st three drinks has been sitting on the counter for over 30 mins while they prep the 4th drink...cashier doesn't provide any relevant update! Avoid this place unless you ordered in advance !!! read more
I was initially confused on why this place was so popular but after a few trips, I finally found my favorite -- and yes, worth it every time! No matter which location (we've been to Milpitas, Sunnyvale and Cupertino), there will always be a line. Download the app and try ordering through there if you're in a pinch. We've tried most of the matcha drinks, and as a matcha girlie, these are just kinda OK. My partner likes their milk teas, which are good too, but I prefer elsewhere for milk teas. What I love getting here is the coconut mango boom. I usually get it less sweet or no sweetness at all because the mango itself is already so flavorful and sweet. There is the perfect balance of coconut milk/cream as well, and the star of the show are the coconut jellies/pudding. As far as location, this is probably our go-to location because of parking and seating. There is usually ample seating inside, or seating outside nearby and parking has been 'easier' to find. One thing to note is that the shop itself always smells so good! Like fresh brewed tea and I will never get tired of that! read more

Love the yum berry drink here!! They get so many orders so be prepared to wait in line even if you ordered off the app. If you like a fruity assortment this place is the place! Decor is neat, bright, clean lines, high ceilings type of feel. It can get pretty crowded inside but there's some good seating outside. read more
Dangerously close.. it's less than a 5-minute drive from the office! This new HeyTea is conveniently located at Main Street Cupertino. Based on the Yelp reviews, it seems like the spot has only been open for a few months, so the team is likely still settling in. Still, given HeyTea's popularity, it's no surprise the place was packed both inside and out. Probably not the best idea to stop by during lunch, though as it took around 45 minutes just to order and get our drinks. I went with my usual, the Coconut Mango Boom (less sweet), and the flavor was consistent with other locations. The only downside was the coconut milk jelly, it was on the firm side which was off putting for me.. so I ended up drinking everything else and left the jelly to toss away. Hopefully they smooth out the rough edges soon because I'd love to make this location a regular stop. read more
Had a good time getting boba here with a friend! There's lots of parking near the boba shop all around the plaza. There's lots of table and bench seating around the area; there are other fun things to visit while you wait for your order. We placed an online order since the line was super long when we arrived. There were 33 orders ahead of us, which was about 21 minutes. Once we got our boba, it was so good and refreshing on a hot day. I got the cloud mango, and I definitely tasted the mango bits which were quite tart. The drink itself was smooth and sweet to my liking. The foam was a perfect compliment to the drink. This was our second visit to the Cupertino location, and unfortunately, the wait times remain a major issue. On both occasions, we waited over an hour for our order. While the drinks are decent, they don't quite justify such a long delay. The Cloud Longjing was very good with a solid tea potency, but the Guava Jasmine leaned a bit too sweet. It's a nice spot if you aren't in a rush, but the efficiency definitely needs improvement. read more

Drinks are good. My favorite is the green grape boom, but the wait is insane. We ordered at a kiosk and the wait to get our drinks was over an hour. Other locations tend to be quicker. read more
I came here maybe a week or two after the big grand opening. There was a coming soon sign at this location for around a year after the pasta place closed. There was a giant line during the grand opening, which I avoided even though I live 5 minutes away. I decided to grab a drink after working out at orange theory. I waited in line for maybe 15 minutes on a week night. I wouldn't wait more than 30 minutes in line for this. I got the mulberry boom which tasted nice and sweet and not artificial at all. It's a unique drink, haven't gotten a mulberry drink anywhere else. It was good but not worth waiting in the grand opening line for. I'm glad that the lines have died down. There's a few tables inside and outside and the place is very nicely decorated. read more

This review is only about the cleanliness in this store. When I went on a Thursday afternoon, there was no soap or paper towels. Additionally, they ran out of toilet paper (notice all the napkins scattered on the floor). Given the cyclospora outbreak, it is super alarming they are not providing sanitary restrooms for their customers or the staff who are making the drinks. Appaling!! read more
A new-ish location in the middle of Cupertino Square. I ordered ahead of time on the app, but somehow they lost/forgot my order and ended up waiting over 20 minutes for it, even after I checked in upon entry. It was pretty standard once I got it and I was able to order a customized sticker design from the app which was cute. My friend ordered in person, but they were out of half of their ingredients. We tried getting the Apple collab (not sure if official) called iYerba, but they were sold out. They have way too many staff. When the sticker printer seemed to be having issues, I think 5 people were huddled around it. I hope they smooth out their ordering efficiency issue and stock the right ingredients so I can come back and try other things in a timely manner. read more

I get that a business can have a bad day, but this place really needs to work on their business practices. I put in my order on their app at 12:03 with an estimated wait time of 10 minutes. Twenty minutes later, I notice people who ordered in store after me getting their drinks before me. A staff member confirmed that my order was received. Another ten minutes later, I check again. It turns out their printer ran out of paper, so while the app orders were received, they weren't being processed. The manager said they even had their staff arrive early knowing that the moon festival was happening in the plaza. He also mentioned that they ran out of ice or their ice machine broke. I really wish they offered to comp my drink (or even offer me a voucher for next time to entice me to come back) for wasting my time--I have places to be! Additionally, I used their restroom 10 minutes after store opening, and they were already out of soap and paper towels. What exactly did staff do with their time arriving early? I will not be returning. Though their drink quality is good, they don't have a ton of drink options, nor do they have dairy free milk. There are other tea options in the plaza with better service and good tea. read more

The Cupertino location is one of Hey Tea's most recent expansions into the Bay. The hype has evidently not died down, the line extends out the door even on hot summer days! The location is perfect, it took over the old Il Fornaio on Main Street Cupertino. Main Street has a handful of milk tea locations and Hey Tea is the newest jewel in its crown. I ordered my typical green grape boom with less sugar and brown sugar boba, and the quality is great here. The fruit drinks here are the best and I will continue to write home about them. They occasionally turn off online ordering during periods with high traffic, but I would highly recommend ordering on the app so that pick up can be expedited. The pick up time is not always accurate and the numbers on the TV are not either, so I highly recommend going up and checking for yourself. read more

Came during the grand opening and it was at least a 20-30 min wait. Tip: although parking can be tight due to the other shops conveniently in the area like Peet's Coffee and SomiSomi, use the parking structure. Tried the Mulberry Strawberry Boom- loved the aesthetic cup and the fresh mulberry. Amazing tart flavor. I got this less sweet and this was just right for me. I was amazed by the burst of flavor. Also tried the Mango Grapefruit Boom- less of slush compared to the Strawberry Boom but has a lot more substance ie tapioca like pearls, coconut jelly, and bits of mango and grapefruit. This was more suitable if you're going for more of dessert rather than a fruity drink. I still enjoyed though and it's equally refreshing but does have more of toppings than fruit pieces. 4.5 star. For a grand opening event, I gave them good score. On time opening, efficient operation. We were given our number before store opens and while waiting someone came out to take our preorders. Average out it's about a minute per customer handling. The decoration inside is comfortable, airy, refreshing. The drink menu is good, it has their signature matcha series, the fruit tea has mulberry which is healthy and rare and tasty. The kale tea is also yum even when it's 0 sugar. It's all good until we want to get the special fridge magnet. We had to write a review on the spot in either Google or Instagram and show them the post as proof. For that I deduct half a star. All in all I'll come back for the menu and the decoration. read more
Tried the Yumberry Boom. I liked it - it was different than the usual flavours you get at other boba shops. I found it to be more sweet than sour. I paid an extra $1 to get boba added but I barely got more than 15 pearls in there. Bit disappointed about that but otherwise yummy read more
Very happy I finally got to try Heytea! I was drawn to come today bc I saw they had a BOGO free for a new seasonal item - the coconut mango blue (which I think is just the same as the coconut mango boom, but with spirulina). Very refreshing and delicious slushie drink; would absolutely get it again. The flavors and textures did not disappoint! The visuals with the blue spirulina were an added bonus. I got it less sweet and it was perfect; I might even try getting it at the minimal sugar level next time. They turned off their online app ordering when I wanted to order so I made it to the store about 30 minutes after opening. When I arrived, there was no line to order but the store had many others waiting for their drink. Silly me for thinking this would be a quick run - had to knock off a star here bc only bc it took about 30 minutes for me to get my 2 drinks (they had to made more sago) D: The workers are very friendly and patient though! And the interior of the store is very clean and beautiful with lots of natural light. They have little menus at the ordering counter (and on their app) but it'd def be helpful if they had larger menus posted somewhere. Looking forward to trying other drinks!~ read more
