Got stuck at ford yesterday, they didn't have a car so I called over early - like 8am, they had a truck available- fine with me-came and got me, went and got the truck so I could go home and work- then later I took it to them, paid the bill ( bargain), they took me back to Ford to get my car- very smooth, no stress, no lines, great service. I got a call from an actual live (and pleasant) human confirming my online reservation. When I got there, the employees were so friendly and helpful. I even had fun talking to them. They paired my phone to the vehicle for me. Pick up was fast and efficient, under 10 minutes. Drop off went great too and even faster. Since this is a shopping center the vehicles are right outside the door, extra easy. I did end up with a larger vehicle than reserved. Technically an upgrade at same cost, but honestly bigger than I wanted. Since it was a hybrid, it still saved on gas vs. my own vehicle. And I didn't need to park in tight spaces. So not a big deal to me this time, but I understand how it could be. In my experience vehicle substitutions are common at small off-airport locations for any rental brand. If you really need a specific type, it may be worth calling in advance to verify availability. Planning to do that myself next time.

We arrived at 5:20 p.m., only to be told that they closed at 5:00, even though the door clearly says they close at 6:00. Apparently, posted business hours and confirmed reservations are merely suggestions here. Then we were told there were no cars available. No one attempted to help us locate a vehicle at another location, offer a reasonable solution, or take any responsibility whatsoever. We were simply left to fend for ourselves after already paying for a reservation. And somehow, the "solution" Raya offered was for us to pay an additional $80 on top of what we had already paid. So let me understand: the company failed to honor a prepaid reservation, had no car available, provided no assistance, and then expected us to spend even more money to fix their mistake. Incredible. Raya, the woman with the glasses, was also rude, snarky, and disrespectful to my father. Her attitude was completely unnecessary. What was especially interesting was watching her suddenly discover warmth and friendliness when she began flirting with another male customer. So clearly, pleasant customer service is available. It is just selectively provided. The service was nonexistent, the attitude was disrespectful, and the entire experience was unacceptable. Management needs to address both the reservation practices at this location and Raya's behavior. Customers should not be left stranded, disrespected, and then asked to pay extra because the business failed to provide the service it already accepted payment for.
