I've never rented from Enterprise before. This location is incredibly convenient to my house so I gave it try. It went great! I got a call from an actual live (and pleasant) human confirming my online reservation. When I got there, the employees were so friendly and helpful. I even had fun talking to them. They paired my phone to the vehicle for me. Pick up was fast and efficient, under 10 minutes. Drop off went great too and even faster. Since this is a shopping center the vehicles are right outside the door, extra easy. I did end up with a larger vehicle than reserved. Technically an upgrade at same cost, but honestly bigger than I wanted. Since it was a hybrid, it still saved on gas vs. my own vehicle. And I didn't need to park in tight spaces. So not a big deal to me this time, but I understand how it could be. In my experience vehicle substitutions are common at small off-airport locations for any rental brand. If you really need a specific type, it may be worth calling in advance to verify availability. Planning to do that myself next time. read more

Needed a rental car due to an accident. When I picked up the car it was the people there were nice and helpful. I had a few questions about new fangled stuff which they gave me useful answers. if I could rate a zero I would---booked car yesterday--arrived to pick up car--the vehicle i confirmed was not available and the only 2 vehicles that were available were very large and would not be conducive to the tight parking areas I use. The final answer was we have nothing then ended up going to pick up a different car from another location which made my wait over an hour. I also observed the same thing happen to another gentleman while waiting. This gentleman was not happy either as they did not have a vehicle for his confirmed booking either. observation--promises made to get business in the door without the vehicles to back the bookings. read more

While I've been here before several times and only received mediocre service, I'm giving it five stars now because of the incredible service I received from William on my last visit. I rented a car first thing in the morning when they opened and he was quick to open the doors of the business, and when he brought my rental car up, it first had not been cleaned, so he went and cleaned it and filled it up himself very quickly. However, when he brought the car to me, it smelled badly of smoke and I knew I'd get a headache if I drove it all week, so I went back in to see if I could get another car. Despite that it was busy, he quickly asked if I needed help or had an issue, and I explained that I was worried I couldn't drive the car all week because the smell, and he very quickly helped me get into a new car that was much better, and waited until I sat in it to make sure it was okay for me before I drove off in it. Also, I had some trouble with a situation with the gas, and he was very accommodating to fix the issue, which is FAR better than any service I've received at this, or any Enterprise location in the past. Most the people I've dealt with at rental car places are extremely frustrating to work with- as they are rigid or unknowledgable (or both), and customer service isn't really their strong points, it feels like. But William's customer service was so impeccable, that it gave me faith in the rental car industry again. I appreciate his wonderful rapport of remembering me when I came back, and taking care of me during the picking up and dropping off of my rental, and I can only hope to have the wonderful type of service that William offered that day, in the future, to make the stale rental car experience as pleasant as my experience on this past trip with his help. read more

Having long weekend plans ? Planning to Rent a car ** DONT CHOOSE THIS CENTER FOR RENTAL CAR (Johns creek, GA). Worst customer service and they dont care what plans you /we have ** I have made a reservation for Car rental 2 months earlier through costco travel and selected Enterprise Rentals, for a family trip of 6 (including 2 senior citizens and 2 kids ) to flordia and to travel to Bahamas \ Carribean for a 6 night cruise. Planned well ahead. On the car pickup day at 11 AM ( i did call 2 weeks prior and told them about my trip and considering senior citizens and kids are there and how crucial is to have a minvan) and i get a call from the Johns creek Enterprise rental at 7.44 AM stating they dont have the MInvans and they will have to cancel the reservation. I had requested them to arrange for a car and told that i had made plans to go on a cruise with senior citizens and kids and spent lot of money for this trip and it will go for a toss and all i got to hear from the customer care member is sorry they cant arrange the car and hence they will cancel the reservation and didnt even suggest for an alternate option . This is my second experience with Enterprise and i will never going to go with Enterprise Rental cars. Pathetic customer care and No empathy towards customers. They dont care a damn for any travel plans we have. I had booked rental car for 7days for $900 . Since they said they will cancel reservation, i had to spend time to see which location has cars, and being a working day i had to travel to airport 40 miles to get a rental car and lost around 5 hours of work time and had to go on loss of pay for those 5 hours and then for the last minute booking i had to do, i had to pay 1400$ for 7 days which is another $500 dollars extra. So much of mental stress last minute and waste of time and energy. read more

When dealing directly with the Johns Creek location I have no complaints. The service is efficient, friendly and reliable. My complaint is with the national desk. They are completely useless. If you do not connect to the local branch and have a situation that requires some deviation from the normal call, such as extending a rental, good luck in getting anything done. To illustrate their uselessness it is extremely difficult for them to even locate the branch by location if you do not have the branch id. If you do not have your reservation id you are in for a very difficult time. The people themselves are not bad, it seems they either do not have the training they need or the system they use is worthless. read more

Needed a rental car on short notice last week. Had originally used Hertz, and they were extremely unhelpful. Long story short, I called Enterprise, talked to an extremely helpful customer service rep and walked in the front door 10 minutes later. When I walked in, I was immediately helped by William. He did a great helping me from start to finish. He explained everything clearly, got me on my way quickly, and was genuinely a cool guy. LET'S TALK ABOUT IT! I was so frustrated with the choice once I realized that my husband had actually chosen a car, (instead of an SUV), that I issued my review prior to the end of the experience so let me provide a more complete picture. Service was fine so this review is all about how much I hated the car that was chosen. I currently drive a van, my previous vehicle was a van and anytime we have gone shopping for a vehicle, it has always been to look at a van or an SUV. So why in the world would my husband even consider renting a car, let alone an Impala! Uggghh! Sometimes you just want to punch your spouse and this was that time. He actually said that he thought I said I wanted a car which is like saying I want herpes! Ridiculous! Yes, it had a nice radio system but since we prefer to talk to each other, it wasn't relevant. I prefer a highly organized and highly functional vehicle. That means that when I sit in that driver's seat, I need a full automatic system that allows me to adjust my seat in every direction. The driver's seat does not go up so I avoided driving during the trip. I am accustomed to having a huge space between the front seats for placing my bag but this car only had a moderate size cubby box and standard water holders. The absolute worst part of riding in this car is that there is no "pop". You can't just pop out like you can with a tall van, you have to do the "old lady scoot", pivot and then pull your way out of that little hole by holding onto the top of the door. It was just not a good look! Really sound advice: When renting a car, do not deviate from what you enjoy driving on a daily basis. If your spouse is in charge of renting the car, double-check his/her choice. This Enterprise office is relatively small so if you want to have lots of options, you may want to consider other options. At this business, you don't get to reserve a specific vehicle, you get whatever is available (in your chosen category-car, van, suv) and that is so not cool! read more

We rented a large SUV to drive to a funeral in South Carolina. They put us in a small SUV. There were cigarette ashes all over the driver's side along the door. They would not let me use my husband's credit card for payment. They said if we use his credit card, he has to be the primary driver. He wasn't going to the funeral. I didn't even bring my credit cards....all I brought was my driver's license and debit card. They said if I use my debit card, which has a VISA on it, I would have to put up a $250 deposit. This really made me angry. I needed a SUV for a day to take my 3 kids to my aunt's funeral and I feel as if I got enough grief with Enterprise. read more

Made reservations for Peachtree Industrial locaton in Suwanee, GA. Apparently, there are two Peachtree Industrial locations. I went to the wrong one, which is approx 5 miles from the other Peachtree Industrial location. I could not get a car because the Enterprise location I went to did not have any available cars, and could not take me to the other location, and the other location could not bring the car to me, because I was more than 3-4 miles. No accomodations could be made - to take me to the other location, to bring my rental car from the other location to this one. No cars, in any size, were available at the location I went to, except a pickup truck. The location I went to had no knowledge of rental availability for later in the morning. It is my understanding that 5-7 miles is the distance for pickup. If that is the case, why was Enterprise not able to pick me up either from the other Peachtree location or from my home-base location? Why couldn't this location drop me off at the other location? I have used Enterprise a number of times, throughout the country, never in Georgia until now, and never had problems. I believe both locations could and should have been more accommodating. I had arrived on time for my rental, no other customers were there, why couldn't they spare one of their staff to get me to the other location or have the other location deliver my car? I would have gladly given them a lift back. I returned home. Later in the morning, I called the location that I had gone to, which was 1.9 miles away, to check availability. Was told someone could pick me up at 1:45pm. They requested that I call them 15 minutes prior to pickup, to remind them. My original reservation was for 8am, and because more than half my day had passed, and I had other time commitments, I cancelled. Additionally, at this point, I did not know what size car I would be getting, when I would be getting it, and if the person who was picking me up would be timely. All of the uncertainty undermined my efforts, and certainly put a damper on was going to be an otherwise beautiful day. The "retail" customer should be treated as well as the "corporate" customer. Perhaps there were other underlying issues, but the bottom line remains -poor customer service and an attitude of "we don't need or want your business." read more

I have rented numerous cars for business and weekend specials for personal use at this location. Always have been treated well and even when place was busy with pickups in morning felt they had things under control. Usually have great selection of cars as well which many places don't. Usually get in and out quickly and nice that can drop off car sundays evenings and utilize drop box. My wife also uses for personal rentals and has had good experience and treated well. Always clean cars but have had a dirty window or two when place was very business. Overall they have earned my business last 3 years. read more

Our experience was seamless. We made the reservation over the internet via USAA's website and Enterprise was ready the next day with the vehicle in the size that we would want. The staff was friendly and efficient. The vehicle was clean and in excellent working condition. We had it for about three weeks. When we went to turn the vehicle in, the process took less than five minutes. So quick! and we were on our way! We were happy with the whole process/experience with this location. No complaints. It was our first time with this location. We usually use another location that is closer to our mechanic, but this one is closer to our home. Let me start this off by saying that I LOVE Enterprise. I rent from their airport locations all the time. However my rating is for this location only. I have rented from this location three times and each time I have had issues with my rental. Two times they did not have the car I requested on the lot when I reserved it. I had to wait up to 1 hour for them to get the car from another lot. The worst experience was renting an Yukon XL for my seven passengers and finding out that they did not have an XL, but only the standard length Yukon (eveyone, put your luggage on your lap). After agreeing to take the Yukon, which had to be driven from another location, I found out the the back seat was broken. I spent twenty five minutes in the parking lot fixing their back seat so I could use the car that I wasn't supposed to get....Go figure. Enterprise, please figure out a better way to support your regular clients when they rent from a neighborhood location. read more

Just had a terrible experience at the Johns Creek GA location. I get that it is clear they don't want you to use a debit card to pay but that is all I have. I had two bills to prove my residence and they kept saying they would not accept one of them as a "utility" even though it says utility on it! (trash and water bill) When I asked the GM to call her manager or corp to discuss, she said that she was the "end all be all at enterprise and it would come back to her" She said unless we have a credit card, they can't rent to us. We asked to see the policy to confirm and she said no. We said OK take us home and we will rent from somewhere else and post it to the enterprise social site. She then had the audacity to tell us that if we were going to "threaten them to post to social media then we won't take you home" Seriously!!!!!! read more

I have been renting from the Johns Creek location for 4 months and they have been very helpful and accomodating with me. I had a problem with my 1st rental so they exchanged my car immediately. I had another problem with a rental so they gave me a complimentary upgrade for the inconvenience. Sometimes I think they are overwhelmed due to short staff, but I feel they have been very helpful with me in providing good customer service.
