    I want to Shout out for WAYNE STOTTS , the manager at the Hertz location, Sioux Falls Airport. He was super super helpful in getting us swap the car. When the Hertz Customer service, Roadside assistance and Hertz at Rapid City Regional Airport wasted our lot of time and refused to help us as our car had a flat tire. We (3 of us) on different calls with Hertz wasted our 2 hours and still did not help. We had to drive from Rapid City to Chicago - 15 hours drive and when we did not get any help, we thought we will keep filling the air in the tire and keep driving. We then called Hertz at Sioux Falls Airport and the manager (Wayne Stotts) answered the call and we explained the issue. He immediately said that they can make it to the Sioux Falls airport and he will be happy to swap the car for us. He said that he will have the car ready by the time we arrive. (He helped us on the call in 10mins) where others did not help us being on calls for 2 hrs. He also mentioned that his colleague will be aware of the situation in case he is not there when we reach. On arrival, as promised, he had the car ready. And we were able to swap and be out of there in less that 30 mins. The best part was he followed up with me few times after the rental if everything was okay or? If we had any problems with the final bill and also kept guiding us what we will see on out credit card statement and how that will go away in few days. I guess he had to do some transactions and refund as per Hertz policy. But, guess - we got the best experience with Him (Wayne Stotts). I know he is the manager but he should definitely be promoted to next level. Thank you Wayne

    Would give negative stars if possible. Terrible management left me stranded without a car in a different state.

    First of all, let me start off by saying, this company rubbed me the wrong way from the VERY…read morebeginning. We declined insurance and all of the other mumbo jumbo crap the woman was trying to sell us because we are poor and are trying to get the best price we can, and she acknowledges that money is a concern. She tells us our total was somewhere around $400 which, okay that's fine. That's manageable. But we go out to our vehicle, and not only is it not the one we reserved, it's not even remotely similar. We requested a smaller car because that's what we're most comfortable driving and they give us the keys to a big honker Nissan Rogue. A mom car, pretty much. The license plates bent all to hell and we go in a say something cause we're not about to be blamed for that. She says "oh it happens all the time in the car wash." we go back out, get settled, and we check our credit app and it's $200 more than what she told us. We look at our receipt and double check everything and we can't see any other extra charge. So we call and she says "Oh that's a $200 deposit it will fall off when you return the car but we don't usually say anything unless asked." WHO DOES THAT TO PEOPLE WHO HAVE EXPRESSED MONEY IS AN ISSUE!!!!! So we're pissed off rightly so, and we go on our way. Then the system starts having issues saying the tire pressure is low and the sensor isn't working and we're freaking out because we have a 2 hour drive to our location. Anyway we get there fine after the most stressful trip of our life, and it proceeds to get worse. on our last day there, one of the tires on the car cracks down the side and we have a flat. Thank God we were able to quickly change it over to a donut spare in the back, but we called because THEY GAVE US THIS POS. They said we'd have to pay for it to be repaired when we didn't do anything wrong. So, another stressful two our drive back with a donut spare because we had no other choice because we don't have the money for that repair right now, especially for a vehicle that is not our own. I will NEVER rent from this company again, I don't care how desperate I am. Look elsewhere because this company does not care about you and only wants money out of you.

Four months later we received a repair bill stating an issue with the car underneath that could have never been discovered unless the car was inspected by a licensed mechanic on a lift rack. We called and the local manager was rude. Did not care that we are VIP Avis customers. Did not care that there was a receipt as evidence the car checked in and accepted. They could not explain why this "discovery and bill" took four months after the rental date. Go to Enterprise or Hertz or any other car rental company. THIS COMPANY DOES NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE THEY COULD CARE LESS ABOUT FACTS OR CUSTOMER RIGHTS OR CUSTOMER SERVICE.

He presented me with options. I presented him with an option and BAM flat tire was taken care in less than a hour! I turned in keys we talked about about another lil issue and again.. Problem solved! He even called me later in the day to let me know an email is coming my way and not to worry.. He sure knows how to re-assure and calm a single's gals anxiety! When we checked in, they unfortunately did not have any cars clean and ready in the size that we ordered so we had to wait an hour to get a car. After flying for 2 hours with a 1.5 year old who needed a nap, this was less than ideal. :( That said, I know summertime in the Midwest is busy but it didn't leave us with the best feeling. I felt bad for the lady working because it wasn't her fault. She was very friendly and was wearing a mask (unlike her colleague right next to her) so we're grateful for that. I will say that the process of extending the rental one day was pretty easy as we didn't even have to call, they just added on the extra daily cost the day we returned it, so that was a plus!
