I ignored the surly seeming call center operators and the drivers that were hit and miss as far as being personable...ignored the minutes to over an hour wait time and dirty cars...but the following experience has caused me to delete them from my contacts forever: Booked a ride, and when I was picked up, was told it couldn't be the round trip I needed - the driver said he didn't have time (15 minutes extra), due to a contract with the school system (Gasp!! I'd never let a child travel with them unattended!). I immediately said "cancel the ride" at less than a block away from pickup as I couldn't be left standing on the steps of a closed business (dropping off a rent check through a mail slot). The driver kept going...now two blocks away from the start point...I repeated that I needed to be taken back immediately (getting out of the car was not an option as I can't walk more than a few feet)...he said, "I can't do that." I said, "Well, you have to! I am not paying for this ride!" in a more forceful tone, now getting angry. He did then turn the car around and asked me, "So you are just mad because you aren't getting your way?" ...I'm sorry..."My way?" They are running a service they want to be paid for. I was only demanding that I not be "kidnapped" and left stranded. Slightly humorous in retrospect, but for some it might have been a frightening experience. I strongly advise giving this company a hard pass. I got home safely in the end, installed the Lyft app on my phone, and had a pleasant experience with them. Clean car, wonderful driver, arrived in minutes...a few dollars more, but you get what you pay for.

I called and had a nice conversation with the owner (Tom) and discussed the reservation process, rates, billing, etc. I use airport car service several times a month -- last year my expense account showed over $1,200 for Sioux Falls car services. I assume that makes me a pretty good customer. It all sounded really good so I made a reservation for 6:50am the next morning. Tom said they only do reservations on the hour and half-hour so I choose 7:00am and cautioned that they could NOT be late as I had an 8:00am flight --- he assured me (several times) that they were NEVER late and they would actually be there a few minutes early. OK --- sound good so far. The next morning I texted them at 6:48am saying "I'm confirming that you'll be here at 7:00am". No response. At 7:54am I called them. No answer. I called again at 7:58am. Still no answer. My flight was at 8:00am so I woke my wife and we jumped in the car to get me to the airport on time. As we were backing out a woman from First Choice called saying "we're going to be a few minutes late". AAARRRGGGHHH ... I said that being late was unacceptable and told her "you're fired, cancel my other reservations". Then --- 20 minutes later I get the following text from them: "Your car was less than 3 minutes away from you and set to arrive ON TIME. I am not about to apologize when we were not in the wrong and have the proof to back it up. I have already cancelled your Thursday ride as I don't want you as a customer. I don't work for you so don't try to disrespect me and say I'm fired when you requested service of me. I did not solicit or seek out your business." Looks to me like I made the right decision in firing them. I suggest you use someone who will 1) be responsible, and 2) appreciate your business.

On Friday night we were pleased with the service so called them on Saturday. We went to the winery north of town and asked to be picked back up at 5:00 PM as that is when the winery closes. I was in the car yet when our driver told dispatch that. They responded that they had some casino customers about that time so I said earlier would be fine, just not later. At 4:10 we called and said we could be picked up at any time. At 5:10 no one was there to get us yet. We called and got a voicemail directed to a different number. This happened a few times. At 5:20 I finally got a live person to answer. He said he just got to work and needed a few minutes to get his GPS loaded and going. I was under the impression they were a 24 hour service so was surprised first when we received no answer several times then he has to load his GPS. He said there was a driver on the interstate and would be there in a few minutes. At 5:40 the owner of the winery kindly gave us a ride back to Sioux Falls. Do not use this company if you want reliable or to be on time or want to be picked up at a certain time.

There was some damage done to the ceiling and they charged me $1550 to repair it! 15 hours of labor @ $75 per hour so $1125 of that bill was for labor which they conveniently did in house. They completely padded the bill. Glenn the owner then sent a threatening email about taking me to small claims court and charging me even more if I didn't pay which was a day BEFORE the invoice was due. To top it off we got into a screaming match and Glenn the owner called me a b#itch multiple times in the conversation. I have never been treated so poorly by a company in all my life. However, last night, I tried to repeat the same experience for my 22nd birthday using the Hummer H1 Limo. We had a different driver, who was also the owner (Glen). Glen was very rude and unprofessional. He first showed up 35 minutes late (while I sat there with 15 friends). He texted me and said he was running late. When I replied with "How long do you think?" He responded with "Unsure." It was very frustrating to sit there with this many people ready to go out and be "unsure" if we were even going to have a limo. Then, once he finally arrived he shouted the rules at us and continued to be rude for a majority of the night. He told us to "take it easy with the food," before we even opened it (it was peanut butter and jelly sandwiches - already made - to ease stomachs). He firmly and loudly advised one of my friends to remove his feat from the seats. We asked him to pick us up at one bar and he replied "It's raining out." Leaving us just sitting at a bar until we decided to run into the limo and get in ourselves. At the end of the night, my parents came to pick me up and pay for the bill. Glen and I had previously talked about reducing the price since he was late, but then he told my parents the full price. My dad called him out on it for lying. We did not have to pay full price, but only because I was still sober enough to say he was late. Glen was overall rude, unprofessional, and deceiving. I will never use this limo service again!
