Its been over a year now and I still haven't been compensated by the Enterprise Damage Claims unit for the damage or missing out on a year of use waiting for their appraisers to come by who never showed up. Nobody at Enterprise reached out to me at any point of this process. It's always been me making contact and them just kicking the can down the line. Keep telling me they need another week when they've had over forty weeks already. Now they're on the "Checks in the mail" run around acting like it still takes 4-6 weeks for mail to be delivered, when its more like 3 days for regular mail and an insurance check should have been overnighted or at least certified priority mail. Supposedly checks have been mailed USPS three times and FedEx overnight once and they expect me to believe all those got lost when I don't have any issues with other mail being lost. No tracking information was provided for any of them, probably because they haven't actually mailed one. Just wasting more time. They didn't need anything else the first four times the check was supposedly sent, now before sending it a 5th time they suddenly needed a copy of my title for some reason. I was assured multiple times that the check would be here on Thursday, if not Friday at the latest. Its now Monday and I still haven't seen it. Over a year since your company damaged my vehicle and nothing has been done about it except many hours wasted and a season down the drain that I'll never get back. How long could I get away with doing nothing if I smashed up one of your crappy fleet vehicles? I bet your car was fixed right away.

Mind you Waukesha, WI is 2 hours NORTH of Naperville, IL, we used our own I-pass and all the tools per our I-pass were paid. Got home returned the vehicle and then a few days later got a "citation" from enterprise saying we missed 2 tolls in Markham, Il at 5:05pm and 10:20pm. HMM well that would be some kind of MAGIC that here we are at a wedding in WI and getting charged for tolls in Markham, IL at the same time. Called enterprise and spoke to 4 separate people, responded to the emails asking for proof and SENT them proof, time stamped photos from wedding for BOTH tolls, called the Illinois tollway authority and had an enterprise employee speak to them. The tollway authority has NO record of sending this citation nor any record of the vehicle traveling south to Markham,Illinois. We got off the tollway in Downers Grove and that was the last exit going north or south for the vehicle. Enterprise charged my card, so I called again, the employee said to escalate it and ask for a manager in the customer service dept. So I did the NASTY lady I spoke to kept talking over me, saying I wasn't telling the truth, saying she was the ONLY manager. What a SCAM, if they do this to 100 people a month that's $2800 because the toll was $3 (that we didn't go through) PLUS a $25 fee! SCAM!!! and the person answering the emails needs to check themselves, again I did nothing wrong we weren't even in the STATE and they keep saying that we somehow were in Markham, il @ 5:05pm and in Waukesha, WI @ 5:07pm! Prove it, we have photos of the car going north and south and getting off at Downers grove 55th street plaza. Shame on such a big company for NOT doing the right thing and SCAMMING customers who rent from them! Just got ANOTHER email from their customer relations " telling me that because I rented the car in Illinois I am guilty". Again check your info before you send emails and put it in writing! If you get into a rental car from enterprise my biggest piece of advice is to NOT take the expressway. I did all my due diligence adding my rental vehicle to my ipass account to AVOID any and all fees possible communicated thru my enterprise advisor and I STILL got slapped with the bogus fees (3 of them) and currently still waiting to get the 3rd one refunded which the charge will be disputed within 48 hours because enterprise citation department runs on miscommunication and lies. I've wasted over 10 hours of my life on phone calls getting nowhere for this last $25 fee it's ridiculous! The charges were for expressway tolls when I did everything I could and had my rental vehicle added to ipass account already! I refuse to use enterprise next time I get the chance. This is NOT how you do business. I only caught this because I actually check my statements. Most people don't and unfortunately overlook and don't even see these fees and get ripped off. Enterprise knows this and is falsely charging thousands of innocent customers and should be reported by the BBB. Never had to dispute a charge in my life with a perfect credit score but if not resolved within 48 hours I'll be forced to dispute. Never had bigger problems with a company in my life. Do better Enterprise.

I originally booked the Oswego Ogden Enterprise location but because they were giving me a hard time, I went down the road to this Aurora Ogden Enterprise. Dylan, while working with another woman in-line ahead of me, greeted me as soon as I walked through the doors even though he was the only one working. There were 4 other customers in that lobby waiting! I saw Dylan treating ALL the clients who came in with respect! Oh, and you know how you can tell when people don't want to help you? That wasn't the case with Dylan. He gave his 100% in making sure all the clients in the lobby were attended to, he made sure they knew they were acknowledged, and that they were satisfied with their rental. Dylan gave me available vehicle options and walked me through the entire rental process, not missing a step! I chose a car that was not yet prepped and he promised a clean time of 10 minutes or less--he delivered on his promise as the car came out clean and ready to go. Dylan is why I continue to trust and use Enterprise's services and he is what EVERY Enterprise should strive to be and provide to their customer. Make Dylan a regional manager or give him a promotion because, Enterprise, this is one of your best employees!!!

I rented a 15 passenger and there was trash left in the back. I get that it's a ginormous vehicle, but on top of the food wrappers there were boogers and/or food smeared in the windows. Um, yuck. After I signed my life away, stating that I won't go pick up people from Mexico or Canada, someone delivered to me a still dripping wet school bus. I said to myself, self, how nice of them to wash up the school bus for me. This thought process quickly dissipated as I drove off and realized the side mirrors were wet, but still dirty :| I squinted through the mirrors the whole ride home. Once I arrived, my kids and I spent 20 minutes of our time cleaning boogers, picking up trash and cleaning side mirrors. What great fun we had spending $120/day and having to clean up nastiness before we could utilize the rental. Listen closely, despite the drama above, there's a few reasons why this is a four star review vs two. The school bus drove well and we experienced zero issues, mechanically. The second day, someone from enterprise gave me a courtesy call to confirm things were going well with the rental. Once I politely complained about the cleanliness, or lack thereof, I was given an apology and a discount on the rental. Although my initial experience warranted two stars, the willingness of the service rep to care about my concerns is why I'll rent here again.

Did not offer helpful suggestions to remedy the situation. Instead told me to "start calling other locations that are open" How am I supposed to know what locations are still open? I am not from here, I don't know where their other locations are. I got a phone call on day one that I had the car asking about the service, wish they would have waited a day to really hear my opinion. The situation is additionally frustrating as their office is closed tomorrow and we don't know what is potentially going to happen to this car with the check engine light on. Here's hoping we don't end up stranded in this car while attending my nieces baptism tomorrow.
