This is for the Enterprise Aurora location off 59 by the Shinto. A coyote had a death wish so I unfortunately needed a rental car. They offered to pick me up and I was able to drop off at the repair shop. Everyone was nice and no big issues. What I didn't like; - minivans/SUVs availabe on the day of my rental were Chrysler pacifica hybrids which are awkward vehicles and get 18mpg - $20/day for extra insurance fir scratches, crashes, etx - pets are not allowed in the vehicles Other than that no issues but I'll update if they arise read more

I pray I don't get stuck in another rental because this company sucks. Every time I get put in a rental I'm always screwed in some kind of way finding myself stuck on the phone for hours to get bogus $25 fees assessed. If you get into a rental car from enterprise my biggest piece of advice is to NOT take the expressway. I did all my due diligence adding my rental vehicle to my ipass account to AVOID any and all fees possible communicated thru my enterprise advisor and I STILL got slapped with the bogus fees (3 of them) and currently still waiting to get the 3rd one refunded which the charge will be disputed within 48 hours because enterprise citation department runs on miscommunication and lies. I've wasted over 10 hours of my life on phone calls getting nowhere for this last $25 fee it's ridiculous! The charges were for expressway tolls when I did everything I could and had my rental vehicle added to ipass account already! I refuse to use enterprise next time I get the chance. This is NOT how you do business. I only caught this because I actually check my statements. Most people don't and unfortunately overlook and don't even see these fees and get ripped off. Enterprise knows this and is falsely charging thousands of innocent customers and should be reported by the BBB. Never had to dispute a charge in my life with a perfect credit score but if not resolved within 48 hours I'll be forced to dispute. Never had bigger problems with a company in my life. My experiences with Enterprise rental in Málaga, Spain was a completely different story. The two guys working at that location came across as anything but professional. The rental was supposed to be around $532 for the five daysk. They first claimed the car was manual and tried to push an extra charge for an automatic. When I said I was fine with a manual, they suddenly announced they didn't have any and would "upgrade" us at no cost. Then came the insurance upsell--quoted at more than double what I'd seen online. After I declined, they magically matched the lower price. We finally got on the road, only to discover the car was making strange noises. We turned around, and after another long delay and a second car, we left again--already frustrated by how much time had been wasted. A week later, I checked my credit card and found two huge charges from Enterprise, both far beyond what we agreed to. It looked like we were billed for both cars and extra add-ons we never approved. Customer service in the U.S. couldn't explain anything, and the Spain office claimed it was for things like "roadside assistance," which made no sense. In short: I'll never use Enterprise abroad again. Those two guys were disrespectful, evasive, and completely untrustworthy. read more

My experience with Enterprise rent a car in the USA is positive but My experience with it in Malaga, Spain is a disaster. The two clowns that work there are a scammers. Cost for a week was $600. He told us that the car was manual and we need to pay extra $500 for an automatic. I declined as I enjoy driving a manual car. He said we will give you an automatic for free since we don't have nay manual. Then he and his partner said the insurance would be $420. I told him it was $180 online. SO I declined and told him I will get a third party insurance. Then they said we will give you that price. We picked up the car and drove. It was making alot of noise. We drove and came back. He found another car but he could not set up the seats. Finally after spending two hours we got the car. a Month later I check my credit card receipt I find two charges by Enterprise in the amounts $1630 and $1190. I guess he charged us for both cars and added fees for automatic and insurance even we declined it. We called customer service. He said I don't know why are these charges. We had to contact th span office but he said they are charging you for road side assistance, what..... The bottom line. Dont use Enterprise overseas. We will not. Me and my brother went to this location yesterday 5/5/2021around 12:45 and the gentleman that was working was very nice to us and very helpful to us! This gentleman name was jimmy, he knows what he is talking about and very respectful! way better then the other location we went to and the gentleman at that location was very disrespectful to us. We walked in to this location and jimmy came right and said how can help you guys and we told him we were there to pick a car and got the information and we went to the car and it was ready for us! he had us walk around with him inspect car. I booked my reservation through concur for my work and when I went to pick up, they said there's no car and that they cancelled my reservation. Worst Location, and after complaining multiple time didn't hear back from the regional manager. They charged me extra after calling no response. I will let all my colleague know what this location is. They tried to exploit my situation. I have been renting from enterprise for a long but this was the disastrous experience so far. @after having word with this local manager they are not considerate at all. They need to be in sync with customer care, I don't know who is wrong but I have lost money due to improper communication. No resolution and the manager was rude. Extremely disappointing rental car experience. My return time was wrongly recorded by the staff at this location, and as a result I was overcharged by $120. Upon calling the location, the manager Tyler Jones refused to help me sort out the problem and said he was "too busy" to spend time fixing the problem. Find another rental car location or risk spending over 2 hours with customer service getting your money back! read more

I never had a problem with Enterprise before today. I had always received friendly, helpful service. I booked a SUV for an upcoming drive to Florida back in January. I know they're a little hesitant about taking debit cards so I called to confirm that everything would be okay. I was assured that as long as I didn't book a commercial van, I could use a debit ( just need to bring an utility bill and fill out a form.) No problem. I've rented many times from them, so it wasn't a big deal. Skip forward, I call today and I wanted to confirm everything so there would be no surprises when I pick up my rental tomorrow. I am told by Erin that it's Enterprise corporate policy not to rent out SUVs to anyone without a major credit card. I would like to know where this is listed either on Enterprise's website or any other publication that this is policy and cannot be changed. As far as I know each branch set their own rules on debit cards. How does a reservation in January with a debit card become invalid in March? Thanks Enterprise for making me scramble at the last minute to find a SUV for the trip. You need to get your "policies" straighten out because one of your employees lied. I went to Budget, who not only price matched but upgraded my vehicle as well. All with no previous reservation and booked with a debit card. After the mind-boggling experience at CCA, they kindly put me in a rental car from Enterprise. Not that I was happy to have to give up my car again after only having her back again for 24 hours, I was thrilled to be put in a car (I had been borrowing the bf's Mini for 3 weeks). I had an Impala...(never thought I'd call that a boat, but damn compared to the Mini and my Yaris, it was HUGE. The guy who picked me up at CCA was SUPER nice, patient, and helpful. He helped me cart boxes from my car to the rental. He smiled graciously as I ran in to give CCA my keys. He made polite conversation as we drove the mile or so to the office. When I returned the car to CCA, I (ummm...sort of...) forgot to give them the keys to the Impala. Oops! They were in my pocket, and the service person at CCA was super rushed to get me out of there. No one even asked for the rental keys. So, in my infinite wisdom, I forgot. I called Enterprise and they were really great about it. I told them I may not make it there before the office closed, so they informed me of the drop box. Easy peasy! I was able to drop the keys off, so they could get the car the next day. I really like Enterprise and I would certainly use them again in a heart beat. read more

Wow, such a great experience renting from this Enterprise location (Route 59 & N Aurora Rd). Fast, friendly service. Logan and Josh even went the extra mile for me. I called there four or five times, asking several questions; hemming-and-hawing about which vehicle I wanted and which day I needed the rental. The agents were patient and courteous each time I called. On the day of the rental, the porter picked me up on time. I was amazed at the speed and easiness of getting the rental vehicle. In years past (at other locations) it took at least 30 minutes--sign this form in triplicate and sign that form in triplicate, etc. Here, I was in and out so fast--less than 10 minutes. Everything was done electronically via a tablet. The interior of the vehicle was 95% clean. Not perfect, but good enough for me. In my opinion, if the vehicle starts out pristine clean, then you must return it pristine clean. But since the vehicle wasn't perfectly clean, I felt that they would be more lenient if I didn't return the vehicle perfectly clean. Not to say that I didn't do my best to vacuum it out and wipe down the console. The gas tank was pleasantly full. (I have had experiences at other locations picking up rentals with only a ¼ tank of gasoline). Based on other Yelp reviews, I asked if the windshield washer fluid was full. The agent popped the hood and showed me that it was indeed full. I was prepared to return the vehicle by 5:00pm (this location closes at 6:00pm). What I was not prepared for was the one-hour traffic delay as a result of the 3-mile single-lane construction zone on I-55 outside of Pontiac. Time to panic--returning the vehicle late would cost another $100 (an additional day's charge). I called Enterprise. They told me to keep in contact with them as the time drew closer. At 5:30, I called them, stating I would probably arrive exactly at 6:00pm (unfortunately, when they are ready to close for the day). They told me not worry, that they would stay a few minutes late in need be. Thankfully, I arrived at five minutes before close. The agents were so nice, calm, and easy-going. They weren't mad, weren't rushed, and weren't irritated. They were their usual friendly and professional selves. There was another couple that arrived exactly at 6:00pm to return their vehicle as well. The agents were just as friendly and professional with them. What a relief that another customer was even later than me! After all that, the agent was still kind enough to give me a ride home (pick-up/drop-off service) even though it was after 6pm. These guys were great! Professional, Friendly and got my husband a car in a timely manor. They were not pushy and after a day of dealing with customer service at other places that has just been down right terrible it's just a breath of fresh air when you come across a team as friendly as these guys! They were not pushing extra insurance or anything on us and again just great - getting us in and out and taking care of things well! Enterprise: My husband was hit multiple times by an out of control driver last Friday. Geico sent him to you, after he waited 4 hours on the expressway in 20 below wind chill in his undrivable car. Then, after a two hour car trip to your place of business, you coerced him into CDW insurance, when he already has Geico coverage and you know that because Geico sent him to you. When he tried to cancel the next day by phone, you told him he needed to come back in. He works in Glenview, and his father is in the hospital, so of course he could not come in to the Naperville office (where we live). But, you are already renting him a vehicle for $30 a day that rents for far less to an off the street customer. Why are you coercing a shell-shocked accident victim into CDW coverage? Update: returned car today, and rep refused to give us a receipt saying the balance and that the car is undamaged because we complained about the CDW to the regional office. Now, Enterprise has our $50 cash plus another $150 held on our credit card when we should have had zero cost for the car since Geico (and State Farm) are paying the claim. Stefan Young, at this office, refused to give my husband a receipt for returning the car undamaged, or a receipt showing what we are responsible to pay. read more

Had a great experience renting out minivan here for trip to ny and niagara . The employees were super nice and was able to get the minivan available to me in just 10-15 minutes of entering the office . Was patient enough to explain the details and questions that i had . When i had an issue with Toll plaza in indiana Was able to reach the office easily . Returning the vehicle was also as quick and was dropped off back at home . I would give an extra star for their turnaround and cost and excellent customer service . Would rent more here for long drives . read more

I rented a car from this Enterprise on May 3, 2019. I arrived on time only to find they didn't have a car for me because the one I was supposed to get had been returned damaged. I spent around 15 minutes waiting for them to find me a new car. They then decided to drive me to another location to get a car there. After dropping off another employee at an automotive place, I arrived at Enterprise. I was frustrated at this time as I wanted to get on the road to go out of town. They gave me a car with the gas tank half full, and I left, forgetting to ask for a toll tag. I know this is my responsibility, but would have been nice if they had asked as they had in the past. Of course, I drove straight through a toll before I realized I didn't have a tag. When I went to pay the toll online, I missed the first two letters of the plate because they weren't the typical Illinois plate, it was two small letters going vertically, not horizontally like the numbers. So, I get a letter from Enterprise saying I owe them an extra $20 for their inconvenience of having to deal with this issue. Also, when I received a follow-up call asking if I was happy with Enterprise, I said I wasn't, and they said they would have someone follow up with me, and no one ever did. Extremely poor customer service on ALL ends, including when I called to deal with the "missed" toll. Will never use them again, under any circumstance. I moved to a new city and did not know anybody who can pick me up after I dropped my car. I requested the manager on duty to drop me if he can. Enterprise office manager dropped me home after office hours even though he need not have. Very courteous and helpful. Waited at my home to take out the car seats that were still in the car.
