We arrived at 5:46p with 14 minutes to spare before closing. My mom was rear ended the day prior and the car insurance sent all of her information over to this location. I dislike assuming you'll receive better service depending on the city that you're in but unfortunately that's typically the case. The Good The location was clean and the service was rather quick (could also be a bad sign keep reading to find out why). The Bad Came into Enterprise this evening with my mom and worked with Sean. I suppose my first issue with this service was we were not asked what size car we wanted but I understood the reason of which he'd just decided to give a car commensurable to her car. This vehicle had several scratches on it below the surface of the paint and the side of the front bumper was not in tact correctly which Sean noted. We were quickly dissatisfied with this car and begin to ask about a different car. Sean first stated this was the only car clean however the car wasn't clean or maybe we just have a different understanding of clean. The Ugly There were three other vehicles available however he then informed us that they would all be upgrades though two of them appeared to be the same size just dirty. He did say that he had already given us an upgrade on the vehicle that he wanted to give us, if that's considered an upgrade. In the past my experience with Enterprise had been a lot better. We decided to visit a different location. I suppose my personal standards for good customer service were too much for Sean to deliver prior to closing time. When I asked if he was the manager he informed me he was. I don't believe he's Manager worthy at least not customer service wise.

I rented a seven passenger minivan online prior to my arrival in Houston, TX. The prepaid up front fees were $190.00. Upon my arrival, the local representative suggested I go with the eight passenger minivan for $45 extra per day. The whole idea behind an eight passenger minivan was to have a more comfortable ride. Traveling with elderly people and children can be a challenge. I agreed to pay the additional $45 per day for the additional "seat". Needless to say, this "upgrade" was a mistake. I ended up with a basic minivan that not only was uncomfortable, but it was malfunctioning! The sliding doors jammed and I had more bells and whistles in my 95' Honda Civic. When I returned this "upgraded" minivan on Thursday, I let the gentleman at the front desk know about the issues with this minivan. He was nice enough to tell me, " we are aware of the issues and there is a recall out on this vehicle". Of course this information was never relayed to me at the beginning of my trip. At this point, my rental turned out to be $620 for five days. That's $124 per day for a low end minivan with 1/2 of an additional seat, recalled doors and busted mirrors. Turo, a local competitor had the Infinity Qx80 for $70 a day. Instead, I ended up hustled into a Toyota Sienna for $124 a day. To top this off, I had to deal with incompetent Hertz representatives from start to finish. I attempted to address the situation initially but the manager refused to resolve the mess his staff created. I will never use Hertz again and I will make sure that none one my friends, family and even clients ever use you guys.

1-Star Review for Enterprise Rent-A-Car - Manager Cody…read more If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience with the manager, Cody, was absolutely unacceptable. From the moment I walked in, he was dismissive, rude, and made it clear that customer service was the last thing on his mind. He talked down to me, ignored my concerns, and acted like I was an inconvenience rather than a paying customer. Not only was Cody unprofessional, but he also showed a complete lack of accountability when issues with my rental came up. Instead of offering solutions, he gave me attitude and excuses. It felt like he was doing me a favor by even speaking to me. I've rented from Enterprise before and never had a problem -- until now. If this location wants to keep loyal customers, they need to seriously reevaluate who they put in charge. Cody is the reason I'll be taking my business elsewhere and advising others to do the same.

The man there said it's a new mandatory policy. He said without the insurance information, no one can ever rent a car through Enterprise. I went back in and told him the website states otherwise but he kept saying it's their new policy and they can't do anything about it. So, I told the guy, that I'll take my business elsewhere. I went down the road and received NO issues. Never renting through this location again.

Tobias actually became a friend along the way. He patiently listened to what we were looking for, then brought the car up for a test drive. He answered all of our questions. We felt as if we could leave at any time, which is different from previous car purchase experiences. But we didn't want to leave because we were learning so much. I put a down payment on a vehicle to hold it a week before I picked it up. When I picked it up and got it home the car already had issues so I had to take it back. A random lady from the place called me to tell me the car was ready to be picked it but she couldn't even explain to me what was wrong with the car told me that's not her department. They gave me a loner car on full tank and i gave them my car on half i returned they car back full tank and they returned my car back on E don't know how that was fair and the lady again told me that's not her department i hate the experience i went through with this enterprise.
