The menu was quite large, they had about any Mexican dish you could think of, and the complimentary chips and salsa were excellent. I had the chilaquiles with steak and green sauce, it was very tasty and the portions are healthy. Between the 6 of us we ordered quite a bit of food, and everyone enjoyed the food. The service was nice and the place has a simple yet clean decor. I would for sure go back if I were in the area again.

Eggs cooked perfectly, sauces had some spice, the beans and rice were great with just a bit of heat in the beans. The only thing that would make it better would be some pork verde and hash browns. All in all, the food and service were good and I would like to go back and order one of their steaks.

This is my second time coming to get the sirloin steak special on Wednesday. I think they have redone the place. It looked like they had New chair, chairs and table tables and I think the carpet was even new. They had a black theme going on which I thought made it feel like a little bit more of an upscale steakhouse, but still with the country charm. Our server with so sweet and took care of us very well. She came back to check on us often and was very helpful explaining things on the menu. We all ended up ordering the sirloin steak. You can choose the side of your choice . Our sides varied a little bit because my one friend can't have gluten, so she ended up ordering the baked potato. they were very accommodating and understood about needing to be careful with even the steak as they cooked it, to keep everything gluten-free. My other friend and I got the potato casserole. It was pretty good, but I wished I would've gotten the potato because I love a good baked potato with my steak. The sirloin steak was a great size and mine was done to perfection. It was a little tough in spots, but that is to be expected with sirloin. The flavor was fabulous, though. We had a nice corner table with a view out the window. The atmosphere is very enjoyable and it wasn't too loud. They have a huge dining area so we didn't have to worry about if we were going to get a table or not. I want to come back and try some of their other specials. Check out their website, it tells about each special that they have Monday through Friday and Saturday night they have prime rib! Round the Bend Steakhouse is definitely worth the drive, especially if you want to get out of the city and enjoy a nice little drive in the country. Mahoney State Park is close. Also, the Air Museum is by Mahoney. And Ashland has so many cool shops and a winery and a brewery.

The main issue was that I ordered a $15 glass of wine but was brought and charged a $24 glass of wine because the bar got confused and messed up. Anyways I would say 4 or 5 stars for the food and 1 star for the service which I'm averaging at 3 stars here. One annoying part about the food though. My wife and I had ordered prime rib which said it had an au just but when our food arrived, it looked dry to me. Like as if no au jus was on it? Oh well, at least it wasn't overcooked or anything. I will start off by saying that the staff here were all excellent, everyone was warm and friendly. The atmosphere was fine, it is in a new build in the middle of a suburban area, so it was about what i expected, it was nice and laid back. My wife ordered two of their specialty cocktails and they were both very good, I liked the queen bee the best. The food was very good as well, we started with a beef wonton appetizer, it was really good, it had nice pieces of rare beef with onions, slaw, and sauce on some very crispy wontons. We ordered the marsala glazed chicken and the meatloaf for our main courses, and both did not disappoint. The marsala chicken was tender and flavored well, and came on a bed of risotto and Brussels sprouts, the sprouts were excellent and all three ingredients worked very well together. The meatloaf was also excellent, it came topped with a tomato based gravy on top that had a great homemade taste, and the mashed potatoes were amazing, some of the best I've had in a while. We wanted dessert, but we're too full after a great meal.
