I'm so glad that they have a restaurant near my work. I came here today during my lunch. Parking was fairly easy to find. I was able to park in the 20 minute parking space that's located right in front of the restaurant. I ordered the banh mi and thai iced tea. Thanks to yelp, I was able to get $2 off. The banh mi sandwich included: dutch crunch bread, beef, lettuce, carrots, cucumbers, radish, and a mixture of sauces. For the sandwich, I would give it a 4/5. The thai iced tea was refreshing and not top overly sweet, unlike other restaurants that I've been to. Overall, I would give it a 4/5 as well. There is something for everyone here. Tons of vegetarian options! Everything is so fresh. They let you customize whatever you want! I love the jerk chicken. And they have a spicy sauce that is to die for. The workers are always smiling. That's a good sign! They use all organic products. Even the chicken is super top of the line! I believe it's from Mary's. Prices are reasonable. You get a huge portion of food no matter what you order. They aren't stingy that's fo sho! The entire place is spotless. Definitely a go-to spot in Napa for me. I always order a masala bowl with my choice of options because I get so much food out of it. I will sometimes order fries and a Thai tea with boba on the side. The prices for drinks are a little expensive, so I don't always get one. The meat choices are always fresh and never overcooked. All of their spices and sauces are so good, I usually ask for all of them. The staff is nice and the place is always clean. I also like that they have a patio area. read more

Only place I've ever been to where the thought of what I ate and the money I spent is still upsetting me 24 hours later. Conventional wisdom states it's impossible to screw up a steak sandwich, but this place managed to do just that. The steak cubes sits in a broth, then they decide to put it on a bread that is not meant to contain such sogginess. And the bun was done the right way. A very flavorful dish *Braised Pork Tacos - Other than the perfectly cooked meat, the tacos were decent. We had already fell in the dishes above. I probably would not order these again. *Hummas - It was delicious, something I would love to have a package of at home. *Horchata - I'm going to pass on this one forever. This was the only thing I was disappointed with, it doesn't have a the sweetness it needs for it to be good. During our meal, I notice another person asking customers of their feedback for their meals. And that man happens to be 2 of 2 running the show, and that's Jason! Once he got to us, Ben had told him his interaction with us and checked in with us. We told him that the meat cooked perfectly and that the combinations that they have come up with have been well thought over and executed nicely. Fusion is hard to nail and they have done a great job here. I like the location. I seen some of the feedback of some customers and concerns that they are skeptical about it being a fusion place. There's so much to say about the place, the owners, and the food. I'll just say two: - When you have people who use ingredients from the place you are from, it can be a bit touchy. However, here they not only use those ingredients smartly, they elevate the dish as a whole. Happy to see their takes on my heritage's cuisine. - Also, the care and respect they give to the 'smaller' items in their menu is just as great as with the big meats. The process from learning about the brand, picking the combos, and paying took about 5 minutes, with the food warm and steamy ready for... Digging in, the foods are great, they have fine tuned on getting their Good Calls right, I would stick with their combos and add your own twist to make it personal. I really wasn't expecting such a hip restaurant out of Napa! My friends and I were looking for somewhere to eat recently and were pleasantly surprised when we walked into Heritage Eats. I thought the food would be basic like most places in Napa (soups, salad, sandwiches). To our surprise, the food included chicken tikka masala wraps, banh mi sandwiches, and more. I went with the steak wrap and the waffle fries, and it was amazing. The chipotle ranch went so well with the BBQ sauce, as well as the waffle fries inside of the wrap. The waffle fries on the side were crisp and seasoned perfectly. I had the cilantro dip on the side and ended up pouring it on everything just because it was so good. Everything about this place was great- the employees were helpful, the food was superb, and the decor definitely catered to a younger crowd- something Napa definitely lacks. Thai Bao was delicious with perfectly made buns (light and not sticky) and flavorful lemongrass pork. Braised pork shoulder tacos also very good (loved the double layer tortillas) - 3 good sized with nice blend of flavors. Waffle fries huge and crisp - not greasy! We also tried a custom built eats with the pork, yellow rice made with coconut milk and turmeric, roasted corn and edamame, cauliflower and falafel-delicious!! Wow this place is really freaking good! The boyfriend and I came here before wine tasting because ... let's be honest, cheese plates aren't exactly cheap or filling. We only had half an hour to spare, but luckily everything was assembled in minutes and our fries came out piping a hot second after we paid. Our order included: a cowboy steak wrap + waffles fries and thai bao. It blew our minds! The steak wrap was incredibly saucy and filled with a variety of veggies, pickled things, and some sort of orange squash or yam?? IDK but it just somehow worked really well. Not to mention they didn't skimp on those large, juicy chunks pieces of meat. The thai bao were HUGE. I've never seen steamed bun sandwiches that big before. I still can't get over how they were like gigantic asian tacos. A huge plus for me was how soft and slightly sweet the buns were. Totally on point! My family and I eat Heritage from time to time. Never a bad experience. I wanted to take a moment and let everyone know that during the COVID-19 shut down we have stepped up our eating out to help our local restaurants. With all the stress put on the staff due to the current situation, not olny are they continuing to put out great food. But, they are polite, professional, courteous and taking spacing serious. I came and picked up my food, evryone greeted me with a smile, they walked to my meal all while maintaining a responsible distance. Used to LOVE this place. It was our go-to every week for carry-out. We have tried everything on the menu over the last few years. Was always great food. Last two times we got food there it was underwhelming to say the least. I was going to ignore it the first time, but a month later when we decided to give it one more try it was even worse. And more expensive to boot. Here are the changes we saw (and why we will not be returning): portions are now much smaller, much fewer veggies in all of the food, veggies were soggy/old tasting, falafel was hard and dry (like it had been twice fried), overcooked meats (no... not slow-cooked, overcooked). Examples of new stinginess: tabouleh used to be chock full of fresh parsley and lots of chunky fresh tomatoes. This time: microscopic tomato bits, almost no parsley = flavorless. Only 4 super thin (like transparent) cucumber slices in the mediterranean bowl. AND rice was hard and crunchy (sitting out too long, my guess). YUCK. Sorry we wasted our money on this last meal. I have been trying to eat here for the longest! I ordered the coastal shrimp bowl and the banh mi lemongrass sandwich. They have a good cultural variety of foods which i liked. They even offered boba with your drinks, which was a plus for me because I love boba lol. Very friendly staff, they all wore masks. Their banh mi was huge! I usually don't like ordering banh mi pass the Vallejo bridge because i like the original but I tried this one and it was very flavorful! Nicole approved lol. The coastal shrimp bowl was very light, you can choose rice or salad, it reminds me of chipotle but healthier and lighter. I should have ordered 2 bowls. We also ordered Horchata, it's a hit or miss at certain restaurants, theirs is on point. Their strawberry lemonade can improve though. We really enjoyed this place pre-Covid. Since The pandemic hit, we've ordered take out maybe 3 times. The first 2 times I thought maybe they were just getting adjusted to everything like everyone else. The quality of the food was just not the same. Anyway... we haven't been back in about 6 months because the last time we ordered, my sandwich was soggy I couldn't even finish it and the rest of the food lacked flavor. Decided to give it another go today...here's what we ordered: Thai Curry soup (limited time) : sooooo watered down and full of onions, nothing else. Hardly any flavor at all. Very disappointing because we ordered 2 and probably ate 1/4 of one before tossing the rest out. Texas Steak bowl : this was ok because I got to customize what went inside the bowl. The steak was decent as were the toppings. Only reason why they're getting 2 stars instead of 1 Banh mi sandwich : outside of the bread was super crunchy, inside was a soggy mess. And again, just completely lacked flavor. To top it off, I ordered for pickup at 12pm arrived at 11:45, didn't get my food until 12:10pm even after I was asked twice who I was picking up for. If we decide to try this place again, I'll just take my chances of waiting in line. Might be quicker than ordering ahead because they didn't prioritize anything in the back. Same price as a happy meal these days? You also get the option of fruit or yogurt as a side, and juice or milk. Other kids meal options are PB & J on Dutch crunch or a grilled cheese sandwich. We had a "Dutch crunch bahn mi" and the sauce and vegetables were delicious. You can customize you own plate. They had tacos as well. We had the horchata and Vietnamese coffee, both of which aren't remarkable since I live in a very diverse city that offers those drinks in many shops. Don't pay the extra $1 for boba since it's not very chewy or tasty. My only quip was that the cashier could've tried to look more enthusiastic.
