Delicious! Excellent service and willing to give recommendations to us. I always enjoy the grilled cheese food truck too.

Stepped in during the last call. Not the best time to go since there's a house rule where they can't serve cocktail with flights. They have to wait 20 min till they could serve another drink after another. However the Lemon drop was fantastic and really refreshing. Bought couple of the florescent vodka home. Will def come earlier next time.

We saw this place and had to go inside asap! So much fun and the staff were great! We like how you can pick and choose what samples and cocktails you want. I appreciate that you can try something different each time. Our cocktails were delicious and it was a really neat place to sit inside. We'll definitely be back soon!

I am here to lament about the discontinuing of my precious Brown Sugar Bourbon. Jamie Foxx purchased the popular brand and I am utterly heartbroken that it will no longer be sold by Heritage. As of right now the new BSB is not available within the area. I am really hoping that it is soon. I am also here to talk about Heritage's new Cocoa Bomb, a chocolate whiskey. I find this to be a great whiskey with a subtle chocolate flavor and a smooth finish. I had it in the cocoa strawberry cocktail at the distillery then took a bottle home to make a chocolate old-fashioned. Sure, it's no BSB, but it's a sweet replacement, literally.

My wife and I went here just to see if a few rumors that I had heard were true. We had heard there was a private barrel club and that you could store your own whiskey there as well. One was true, the other... sorta. First off, there is no food served here but we were happy to hear that you are allowed to bring in food from some of the local food carts, and so we did. Pulled pork with whiskey is a great combination by the way. We also found out that they can only serve a certain amount of alcohol to a person per day. So choose wisely what you get. The rumor about the barrel club was true. It is a bit expensive to get in, and there is a "long" waiting list. However, to have something like this in town is pretty cool. You can't store "your own" whiskey there but once you join the club you can store your own barrel there and let it age. The drinks are really good and although seating is limited, it's a great atmosphere and the staff is great. They answered a lot of my questions, made some good suggestions on drinks, and I even went home with a bottle of the BSB103. A great place for drinks with friends! Definitely worth a visit.

My. Ask #750 is front and center. Build your own "Custom" cask of spirits with their "Cask Club". Run, Gin, Vodka and Bourbon. When you are a cask club member, flights are free for you and some friends. On the weekends the Bloody Mary bar is epic. Worth a stop or an evening. If you haven't tried BSB you are definitely missing out.

I absolutely love their Bloody Mary bar but for me the garnishes are a nice to have the truth is in the taste of the actually drink. At Heritage you choose the rim salt, the vodka flavors and the mix, so the success is really on you. The garnish selection is a meal in itself they don't skimp, you want pickle juice, got it, you want extra hot, pick from the plethora of hot sauce selections, cheese, salami, pickled garlic and many more and the best part to all of this....$7.50 yep $7.50 so drink up.

What a great way to sample local vodka, whiskey, bourbon & gin. We visited twice and each visit was very nice. Flight of 5 $8, or you can pay for special mix drinks. Loved the BSB 103 (103 proof Brown Sugar Bourbon), purchased 1 bottle. Also tasted their vodka. Several flavors, and all taste just like they are labeled. Ended up purchasing two bottles to bring back to California for the wife (Mango & Blood Orange). On our second trip they provided a private tour, another special treat. I would definitely return in my next trip to Eugene.

i cannot emphasize enough how much i love Heritage! their liquor is absolutely amazing, one of my favorites being the Sweet Ghost Pepper vodka! it has the perfect mix of sweet and spice, and it smooth going down--which is saying alot for vodka!!! oh! and the Lavendar vodka is lovely too. and the Huckleberry. i get different drinks everytime i come, and they're all amazing, although i'm a slut for the slushies specials on hot summer days. the people working here are always super helpful and friendly and have great recommendations for when i'm feeling indecisive. located super close to the Whiteaker and Oakshire, it's a great place to stop for refreshments on a night out. my only wish is that they would stay open later than 7pm occasionally as sometimes that thwarts me from stopping by for a drink. ily, Heritage

We live quite a drive away from Heritage, but we make trips down to Eugene a few times a year, and I always look forward to it. First of all, Heritage products are delicious and high quality, with plenty of variety. The vodkas are tasty and so unique. Their little store is well stocked with all their products and mixers. The tasting room is so much fun, and the staff is friendly and very helpful. I always ask their opinions for new things to try, and they are always knowledgeable and fun to chat with. We've been several times, and every single time, I am impressed with their wonderful staff!

This place is so great! We stopped by for a few drinks- we got a mixed flight. The interior is very clean and modern with little barrels lining the wall with a wood/metal theme. I tried the lavender vodka, huckleberry vodka, gin, and the rosemary gimlet. The lavender vodka was so easy to drink! It had a hint of vanilla but wasn't overly floral. The huckleberry was fresh, slightly sweet, with a hint of tart. The gin was clean with a woodsy hint at the finish. The rosemary gimlet was so refreshing! The only con about this place is that they can only serve you one flight. They aren't able to serve any one person more than that- so choose your flight carefully!

Can I give like ten stars?! Because Heritage Distilling Company is just that GOOD! Let me break it down: SPACE/ATMOSPHERE: Fantastic! A large roll-up door providing tons of natural light, casks (for the "cask club") aging, various table-tops, an awesome wood-top bar, and even an upstairs seating area that overlooks the production area. Love! So can't wait to bring my fiance here on our next visit to Eugene! SERVICE: On point! You head to the bar and place your order with the friendly bartenders who guide you through your options and mix up your concoction of choice. Both the gent and the gal helping me were so incredibly friendly! The next day I even went in to exchange a purchase for a smaller size and the gal remembered me from the day prior. Sooo sweet! Def an amazing and passionate group of people. LIBATIONS: So much to choose from! Here at Heritage Distilling Company they distill their own gin, whiskey, and vodka! Wow! They offer a couple different drink flight options or you can, of course, opt for just the a la carte menu. On the weekends they offer a Bloody Mary Bar too! I went with the latter because I had a day of brewery hopping ahead of me and when doesn't a Bloody Mary sound amazing. You pick your rimshot (classic or bacon), pick your vodka (sweet ghost pepper, bacon, batch 12, or char barrel finished) then you choose your mix (classic, chilies and peppers, chipolte-habanero, or extra horseradish), and then you visit the garnish bar to load up your bloody with all the celery and pickled delights your heart desires! I did the bacon rimshot, with sweet ghost pepper vodka, and classic mix. Highly recommended!! I loaded it up with bacon, celery, green olives, pickles, and lemon. Mmm... Def a tasty bloody! SUSTENANCE: While Heritage Distilling Company doesn't feature a kitchen of their own; they DO host a variety of food trucks out front to feed their hungry patrons! Finni's Fine Foods was there slinging up some delish smelling sandwiches, pasta, and plates during my visit. Yum! MERCHANDISE: TONS! There's so many wonderful things that I wanted to take home with me including: full size bottles, minis, shirts, flasks, garnishes, and more! I brought home a shirt and a shot glass because I was concerned with trying to carry-on a bottle. Though they do offer shipping! Yay! I will def be frequenting Heritage Distilling Company on my future visits in Eugene and bringing everyone I know with me. Def a new favorite!

Heritage is a great place to meet someone for a date, quick drink, watch the game, etc. It feels upscale without being stuffy or overpriced. Their drink rotation is solid and changes often. The sweet and spicy cider is a must if you find yourself there during the winter months. Speaking of winter months, they've set up outdoor seating which is just gorgeous. Tents protecting you from the rain with beautiful tabletop heaters to keep you cozy. I don't have pictures of this particular set up but I'll update when I return to HDC ... because I will absolutely return. They also have indoor seating just inside large open garage doors and an upstairs room as well. Also worth the mention is the food truck on site. The Nosh Shop offers a variety of tasty treats that pair well with the beverages from HDC. The two menus absolutely compliment each other. When in doubt, get the charcuterie board for your table. There's a gift shop inside HDC with some great stuff. If you happen to fall in love with a specific drink they can fill up a to go bucket with everything you'll need to recreate it at home. Ie. Spirits, mixes, syrups, etc. And the bucket is cute! Metal bucket with HDC's logo on it and a handle. It would make a great gift!

I had the Marry Me chicken meal, which had a delightful cream sauce with spinach, broccolini squash, and sun-dried tomatoes. The cream sauce was deliciously sweet and the chicken was as tender as I've had in almost forever. I also had a green salad with blue cheese dressing, which was very nice. A couple of my friends had cocktails and they thought they were very good. Other meals to my friends included the Poutine Fries; The breaded pork chop (schnitzel) and the shrimp pasta. One person had the hard cider and enjoyed that, and then of course, at the end of the meal, they have these delicious little chocolates two of us had them and one person had the chocolate pot re crème. All of us loved every bite. And they have done away with including the tip for the meal. Our server, Ross, managed five gabby women, each wanting a separate check, with aplomb, grace and kindness.

I've lived here for around 5 years, and another 15 years up in Salem and this little restaurant is a gem in every respect. I've been to Rye at least 4 times since moving here. I had heard about it from friends and so my partner and I first tried it out and were highly impressed with the food, the servce and the ambiance. The menu is just a bit limited but between the specials and the menu offerings, there was plenty to choose from. Above all, what they do, they do very well. I and my partner ate at Rye three nights ago and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience in every way. AMBIENCE... The dining room is terrific. Lots of dark wood. The lighting of the room is especially conducive to privacy but not isolation. Inasmuch as it was raining to beat the band when we arrived, entering felt like a welcoming respite. The patrons' chatter was subdued but clearly they were having a great time. FOOD... We ordered cocktails (I enjoyed a Cocchi Rye whiskey cocktail which was delicious. The French onion soup I ordered was also very tasty and loaded with mozzarella atop the cup. I then dived into a "special" plate of a Chinook salmon fillet, finished perfectly and sitting on a bed or pureed squash. Excellent, I thought. Afterwards, we shared some sort of fruity pastry, sharing with two forks. SERVICE... From where I sat I could watch the bar activity, even the service window into the kitchen allowed me to watch all the activity. Our server was very efficient and cheerful and engaging without being overbearing in any way. AFTERTHOUGHTS: I will be coming back, of course. Rye is where you want to go to have a very good time eating out. You're not going to spend an arm and a leg to eat there but Rye is definitely not Denny's. I think this was my fourth trip there and all four times I felt thoroughly satisfied in every way.

Ordered the Ikura onigiri and the Japanese Sweet Potato and the Agadashi Tofu. (I asked for miso butter on the side for me because I have found it overwhelms the potato which is seasoned really wonderfully). The Ikura Onirigi was simple and excellent. My favorite wishes that they would create an regular Onirigi Happy Hour where they are on discount so that those of us who just want to have half a dozen of those and a few drinks can come in and experience our heart's delight. My drink of choice here is the Painkiller -- which is really well balanced and so delicious it's hard not to have a second. Wednesdays are when they have two dollars off the ginger-based drinks and I didn't try it this time but I am keen to the next time because they appear to crush the ginger in house and make their own ginger concoction magic. The place was packed, but thankfully we were seated quite quickly with a 5-10 minute wait. The interior is cozy and welcoming. It's dimly lit with mood lighting on the tables. It felt lively since the tables were packed. We started by ordering the sake and shoyu flights and some fries with wasabi mayo while we explored the rest of their menu. We received the flights quickly. Both flights had 3 flavors and were tasty and fun to try. Each flight comes with a menu describing the flavor profile and how the drinks were made. The flavors of each flight were distinct and matched their descriptions. The fries with wasabi mayo were pretty basic fries. They were well seasoned, had a nice crunch, and the mayo had a subtle wasabi flavor without it being spicy. For our next round we ordered the salmon misoyaki, butternut squash, tofu kushiyaki, and steak kushiyaki. Unfortunately, our server forgot to bring our butternut squash, but we ended up being full with the rest of the food we ordered and just took it off our order. The salmon misoyaki was delicious - perfectly cooked, tender, and well seasoned. The mustard greens on the side added a nice sourness. The tofu kushiyaki was tender and flavorful. The steak kushiyaki was well-seasoned, but more well done than I preferred and a little tough. Next, we ordered the spinach goma ae and umeboshi unigiri. The spinach goma ae was such a pleasant surprise! It's a chilled spinach dish with a tamari/black sesame sauce that was refreshing mid-meal. Really good umami flavor! The umeboshi onigiri had the expected sharp salty/sour flavor that balanced well with the ratio of rice. Ended up dipping the umeboshi onigiri in the goma ae sauce to get every last drop. For dessert we ordered the basque cheesecake and créme brûlée. The cheesecake was just okay. The menu said there was sake and black sesame flavors, but apart from some black sesame dust on the plate we couldn't taste the sake/sesame. The texture was thick and not super smooth. It was a pretty heavy dessert and not very sweet. The créme brûlée was yummy. The custard was smooth and the crunchy caramelized sugar on top was a nice contrast in texture and flavor. The service itself was slow. We were waiting around 15 minutes between orders. Given, it was a busy night. However, we felt a bit forgotten as our server did forget to bring one of our dishes, we had to ask for our dessert menus twice, and we were accidentally served two basque cheesecakes instead of our order of cheesecake and créme brûlée. The staff were friendly, and quickly brought out the correct desserts at the end. I'd recommend ordering more dishes at once so you can enjoy more food in between orders. Would definitely come back again to try the rest of their menu. We wanted to try the Japanese sweet potato but they had sold out that night. The oysters, sashimi, and udon also looked quite good!
