Lulu's is honestly the best hair salon I've ever been to. Everybody is incredibly talented and…read morefriendly, and always make you feel welcome and comfortable while you're there. I cannot recommend Danielle P enough, I've probably forwarded about 15-20 other girls to her. She listens to what you want and makes it happen while still protecting the integrity of your hair. While your hair is processing she constantly checks up on it and explains what she's doing. She's also knows how to make different colors/shades that complement your skin tone to make you literally glow when you're finished. Danielle is a perfectionist and will make sure your hair is flawless before you leave her chair. During my last appointment she fully toned my hair 3 separate times to get the perfect silvery white blonde that I had wanted and also managed to carefully remove all of the pink from my hair that she had done a few months ago. When I had my pink hair, she mixed me up a conditioner with my color in it to take home to use when my hair started to fade (which was maybe a month and a half later). She has colored and toned my clip in extensions to match my hair perfectly, and eventually helped me pick out, toned and installed my tape in extensions (she even offered to go with me on her day off to the beauty store to get the best extensions). I always trust Danielle with my hair and after every appointment I'm even more happy than my last--she's passionate about what she does and it really shows! My hair despite all I put it through is the healthiest it's ever been and people constantly comment on how healthy it looks and feels. Her schedule fills up fast and usually appointments need to be made a month in advance but it's well worth the wait. The girls who work at the front desk and at the hair washing sinks are always really sweet and helpful as well. Carissa gives an amazing blowout that could honestly probably last you 3 weeks if you wanted it to. All of the girls here are really cool and fun to talk with, and are always almost as excited as I am to see my hair all finished. I've been going to Lulu's for years and couldn't imagine going anywhere else!

As a Mother of two daughters, I would not recommend this hairstyling business…read more I watched a young woman come in today for her hair and be completely ignored for about 20 minutes. She asked a question about her hair, yet they made her wait nearly an hour before anyone actually helped her. ( She eventually walked out quietly). It was honestly disgusting and upsetting to watch the way she was treated. Regardless of who a customer is, everyone deserves to be treated with basic courtesy and respect. Based on what I witnessed today, I would not recommend this place to anyone. I would NEVER go back and especially with my girls!

I can't tell you how many compliments I get after my haircuts there, which is no easy feat with hair as long and thick as mine. I recently went to a different salon while I was in a rush to get a (what i thought would be a trim to rid myself of split ends from my constant hot tools abuse) on a day Racine's was closed. That was a BIG mistake on my part it ended up much shorter and so difficult to style in any acceptable non-messy-looking way. During my time visiting Racine's for over a year and that had never happened to me with them. Aside from being hair magicians, They are also great with nails my manicures are fantastic, and my pedicures with Maggie are heavenly. She is really detail oriented and my skin and cuticles are left soft and looking great. I also get waxed there with Rosie who is just a godsend. Her technique is as quick and painless as they come. I leave their comfortable and private waxing room with smooth hair-free legs and wonderfully shaped eyebrows every time. I wholeheartedly recommend Racine's to anyone no matter what you are looking to have done i am certain you will be more than happy with the results. Enjoy!

The result was horrible and nothing like the patch color I picked. In fact sample she showed me was not available when I came back. Amazing.

She has a true compassion for what she does for sure! She feels for you and cares! While I was there a man walked in with a bag and when Nikeya asked how she can help, he said I'm here to help you. He saw a piece on the news or in a local paper and donated his wife's wig who had passed a few years back. She was so happy to meet him and appreciative of the donation as well. I will be going in to donate the wig Nikeya trimmed for me as a bit too dark for me but someone else may use for sure. I will also see about her adjusting a different wig I have now too. For some reason I decided to box dye my hair a few nights before and I did it soooo badly. Teri took one look at it and said, "I can fix this" and SHE DID! I feel so lucky to have landed in her chair. You guys, I can't even describe how badly I messed up my own hair and how beautifully Teri fixed it. She did a fantastic job and she did it efficiently. I walked out with beautiful highlights that softened up the whole look and lifted me back to 'blonde'. She worked miracles, I swear. Also, the gal in her chair before me also got color and it was beautiful. That client had never had color and Teri did a beautiful, flawless balayage that looked natural and really suited her skin tone. Can't say enough good things about Teri and her skills as a stylist! I wish her every good thing!
