She feels that she communicated clearly what she wanted. She currently cannot braid it back for sports due the layers falling out. Currently she is horrified with the cut to the point of being in tears. The stylist did call to apologize but what does that do at the end of the day? Now we have to wait until December for this cut to grow out. Maybe next time the stylist should demonstrate one more time in the front where they are going to cut and be cautious (maybe cut below slightly?) -- I think it is easier to remove hair than cut it way too short. Very unhappy, would steer clear of this salon and look elsewhere. Do not recommend.

The salon is nice, looks tiny from the outside but is pretty spacious on the inside. There's a small waiting area and a few different chairs and mirrors to get your hair done. The place is fresh and new, and does actually have a Tuscan feel to it. The sinks in the back are great, and the temperature is always good, even if it's blazing hot outside. Nicely located in Huntington bay too, easy if you don't want to go all the way into the village. There's also women's clothing and accessories for sale, as well as hair products for both sexes. Highly recommend.

Today I decided to go there and dye my hair. It was strange as they called me two days ago to let me know to come earlier and that someone else from the person that I had booked online would take care of me. The person who was dying my hair for a year now is not there anymore. Most of the people who were taking care of me before are not there anymore. Today it was the worst experience ever! I am really disappointed with the service. My hair looks awful. I wish I have not used them. My advice as I run my own business--The staff should be more caring about customers and should not experiment with other people's hair. The difference of colors on my hair was absolutely obvious. My hair before was a clear blond color and now the roots are yellow/brown! They were pretending that was all great instead of trying to fix the problem before me paying and leaving the premises. As soon as they told me that I was done with the styling and hair treatment, I approached the register to pay and it was there I made the complaint. The staff knew in advance that they performed malpractice on my hair treatment. They were hoping that I would not have noticed but I stayed silent until I go to the register. I understand that people can make mistakes but no one has owned up to it to say I am sorry. They were making me feel that they were the victims when indeed they had control of my hair and head. If you love and respect your hair, you will not commit color suicide to your hair.
