i had an appointment today with Lexi to get my haircut and colored. when i made the appointment 2…read moreweeks ago i had to request an appointment in which i had to give my name, email and phone number in which were all up to date. i got a call the same day with an appointment time, in which i was very happy. but when i got to the appointment today as soon as i walked in the girl sitting at the desk looked at me sideways so from the second i walked in i felt a way, she then asked how she could help me and i said i had an appointment with lexi, she then tells me she tried to call me in which i never got a call at all, to tell me lexi was sick. i took off a whole day of work to get my hair done, so at this point im livid, i asked what number they called and she said my old phone number. when i scheduled the appointment request they had the correct number and called me to make the appointment! so why was my number not updated? it was giving rude and lazy, and they really didnt care i felt a bad vibe the second i walked in and honestly i wasted my whole day and lost money, it was just unprofessional that they had the correct number to make the appointment but not the right number to let me know she had to reschedule? no. i will never go here again, on top of they never let me know their address changed when i made the appointment so i went to their old location at first, they clearly don't have it together and are very rude. 0/10! never again!

I came to her really disappointed and weary after going to a pricey and well-known salon in the city where they did not give me the cut or color I asked for and left my hair underwhelmed and halfway done. I understand going from natural brown hair in a double process while maintaining healthy hair is a process but it seemed that my requests were taken with a grain of salt. Danielle listened to my previous experience, all my concerns and took the time to understand what I was looking for, setting clear expectations prior to scheduling our appointment together. She did exactly what I wanted and I am so extremely happy. I paid almost half the price of the other salon and she exceeded every expectation, from the amazing hospitality while sitting in the chair to her following up with me after my appointment and more. When asking why she told me she needed to cover a few gray hairs she saw and she needed to do this .. horrible experience I have been coloring my hair for over fifty years longer than the girl or stylist age I was consulting. She tells me she needed to add this color otherwise the few hairs would not be covered. Amazing never happened to me but if she felt that ways she should of asked me because my hair is very fine and I do not have much of it. The result was horrible and nothing like the patch color I picked. In fact sample she showed me was not available when I came back. Amazing.

I have never worn a wig…read moreand really felt this one (given to me by someone out of state who was getting a new one) may not be the right one for me but we trimmed the bangs and Nikeya so graciously helped me! She has a true compassion for what she does for sure! She feels for you and cares! While I was there a man walked in with a bag and when Nikeya asked how she can help, he said I'm here to help you. He saw a piece on the news or in a local paper and donated his wife's wig who had passed a few years back. She was so happy to meet him and appreciative of the donation as well. I will be going in to donate the wig Nikeya trimmed for me as a bit too dark for me but someone else may use for sure. I will also see about her adjusting a different wig I have now too. I feel so lucky to have landed in her chair. You guys, I can't even describe how badly I messed up my own hair and how beautifully Teri fixed it. She did a fantastic job and she did it efficiently. I walked out with beautiful highlights that softened up the whole look and lifted me back to 'blonde'. She worked miracles, I swear. It's the best cut I've had in a while as I was well overdue! She also talked to me about highlights and gave me her recommendations. I could definitely see how knowledgeable she was, and normally I wouldn't trust a hair cutting place to do color service, but I would trust Mia! I brought my glass mason jar (a sauce jar I cleaned and reused) and the women filled it for me. It was a little more expensive than what I would normally spend on conditioner (bc I normally buy the cheap whatever is on sale) BUT it made my hair smell and feel AMAZING. My hair is damaged from years of coloring but it made it look so healthy. I will be coming here with my jar from now on. I can't wait to get the shampoo! And try more of thier products.
