Well when i wake up i normally prefer to have a nice doughnut or some sort of pastry with a hot coffee to start the day. While I'm in town visiting a friend in the area, i had to search for a mom and pops location for a good doughnut. After reading the initial reviews, i had to check this place out! While their location isn't too pleasing to the eyes, i would expect it since its located in some sort of asian strip mall reminiscent of what you will find in Chinatown. Their lot was just full of garbage which for some folks, it will be unacceptable. I didn't mind since i was hungry lol. Their doughnuts were great overall. the maple and bacon bar was my favorite! Give this place a chance and it will wow you like it did to me! I would definitely recommend this place to people as long as they can look past the dirty parking lot! read more

24/7 donut shop. I insisted we stop at 1am. Boyfriend was hesitant. I argued. He lost. "THIS IS THE BEST DONUT I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE!!!! We picked up a half gallon of milk at Walgreens then stopped by for a selection of fresh donuts: maple bars, raspberry filled; chocolate cream; crullers They were all good but our preference was: cruller maple bar chocolate cream raspberry filled in that order Some have mentioned bad service. Yum, yum and yum! Came here and the hubs bought 2 boxes of donuts so we could share with friends. I wanted a jelly filled donut and my hubs ordered 2 for me. I only wanted one and was going to save the other for the next day.... that didn't happen! I ate them both in less than an hour. So delicious! Wow a doughnut shop opened 24 hours a day!? YES!!! This is not a drill! Their doughnut quality is excellent as well. I went here at 9pm at night and they were still baking fresh doughnuts. Their pricing seems right with local competitors with 2 prices (one for regular, and one more "fancy" doughnuts. I definitely recommend trying their buttermilk bars! Pretty great donut place! They have a nice selection for reasonable prices. It's conveniently located near work too. They prefer cash, as most donut places do, and they charge 50 cents for debit/credit card transactions. They're tasty donuts, and I'll be back for more in the future. The interior leaves a bit to be desired, but they are in a plaza with plenty of parking space. read more

OMG, these donuts are soooooo good and addicting! This has got to be one of the best tasting donuts in town and they're open 24/7. Bonus if you're having one of those late night cravings! The donuts is light, airy and moist. When you bite into it the donut sinks down and is doughy & chewy when you chew. The glaze is slightly on the sweet side and melts in your mouth. The glazed selections will definitely satisfy your sweet toothe! You must try their maple bar and twist which are my top picks. What I also like about their donuts is it's still good the next day. I follow Atkins/Fatkins/keto and have donuts on my cheat day. So far I visited this location twice. The first time 11/28/2015 the glazed donuts and maple bars were not as fresh as the second time. The second time which was on 12/26/2015 they were so fresh and fluffy. A few people mentioned their inability to say "Thank you." The owners/operators seem to be a Vietnamese family. The language barrier is not an issue to me as I am part Chinese so know firsthand that English is not everyone's first language. Nonetheless the younger gentleman who helped me said "Thank you" when I paid for the products I ordered. However I do not expect them to say "Thank you." The way they pack the donuts and bars may be an issue to some people as they do not lay them flat. Instead they lay them sideways in the box which may be an issue for some customers. Will I return? Yes. Hopefully the next time I return they will be fresh and fluffy which was not the case the first time I visited. However I gave them a second chance and am glad I did. I will return for their glazed donut and bacon-covered maple bar. First time I have ever tasted a bacon-covered maple bar and wow theirs was good. read more

Way better than Top Pot donuts. Even the parts without glaze were pleasurable to eat- which may not be a good thing since I usually just neglect those parts usually. I got the bacon maple bar, which was delicious and tasted fresh. Sweet, salty, smoky, and soft with a nice slight bite due to the bacon bits. This is miles better than the acclaimed maple bacon bar from VooDoo Donuts. This is a no frills place with employees to match, in which I don't mind. This is a in-and-out kinda place anyway. 50 cent charge for credit card orders under $5. Wish these guys opened up a shop in Seattle and shit down that monopoly of a mediocre donut chain that is Top Pot. read more

After my last visit here I will never return. I absolutely LOVE their donuts, don't get me wrong. Always good and fresh, and delicious when I work at 4am. The older man (I am assuming the 'owner') there is always rude. However, last time, it was my last straw. I waited for someone to come out from the back. He said absolutely NOTHING to me...so I continued to order my donuts (keep in mind, I am in customer service as well, and I tip everywhere there is a tip jar). He packages up the donuts, rings me up (still haven't said a word...and I even said "good morning"). Took my money (still no words), and walked to the back. I contined by saying "Thanks a lot! Every town needs a 24/7 old school donut place. Henry's Donut is that place in Mukilteo. Their plain and basic store is in a small strip mall near Paine Field, but they manage to produce a continuous supply of classic and modern donuts. Barring a grease fire or an accidental drive through, Henry's never closes. On my trip, I got a half-dozen with fritter, cinnamon roll, old fashioned, cake, and maple bar. Everything was fresh and delicious with a very reasonable price. I was tempted by the modern donuts with bacon and other toppings, but Thanksgiving morning called for classic family traditions. The donuts even kept for Black Friday. I can imagine this place receiving a lot of business from the airport and Boeing plant, plus countless teenagers and police visiting at all hours. This place passes my test, and I will likely return whenever I am in the area. read more

I promise I will not review Henry's based on the size of their parking lot or whether the owner (who is not Korean and his name isn't Henry) asks me how my day went. I will review Henry's Donut show based on.... wait for it... doughnuts! Henry's has normal donuts, not gourmet, not super fluffy you could just die donuts... just regular donuts. And as such are one of the best regular donut shops around. They're open 24x7 and have a place you could sit. I know right? They don't give you your donuts in a bag and point you at the door. As a matter of fact you can stay as long as you want and nobody will bother you (I've proven this). Grab a newspaper from outside, order some donuts and just sit and BS with the locals. Come at about 9am and there's a small group of local ladies that may talk sports with you. Henry's has a great Apple Fritter which is nice and dense and heavy they way they're supposed to be. The Maple bar and Maple Cinnamon roll is also good. The old fashioned are tasty. Those are what I eat when I go there. Coffee is just regular old budget coffee. It's not that great but still better than paying $4 have Starbuck burn it beyond belief. Oh, they also don't make decaf. As far as the customer service - the owner makes donuts and sells them... all day long. That's what he does. His English is not very good but his Vietnamese is steller. He'll come out and maybe say hello, then ask you what you want, tell you the price and go back in the back to make more donuts. That's what he does. If you want someone to do patsy cake with you or play cards you're in the wrong place, this is a donut shop. read more

Check, Good donuts...oh yeah (Get the krollers!) Cheap? a dozen runs for about 7.50...and why??? Folks this donut shop is rare because it provides you a combination of two things. Krispy Kreme's feeling of the soft, tender and gentleness of their donuts, while providing you with the aesthetic look of the donuts found at Top Pot. (Get the krollers!) I bought a dozen of these donuts for my office and they were annihilated before lunch. They look like regular donuts found at any old store (Say an Albertson's, Safeway or QFC) but add the flavour of Top Pot's donut, and the tenderness of Krispy Kreme and thats what Henry's Donut shop offers. It's difficult to justify ever coming to the North End for just donuts, but people believe me, they're worth the trip. (Get the krollers!) The 24 hour business hours that mean I can enjoy a delish and fresh donut any time? ALL YES. I have been here a number of times and there is always tons of donuts. There are donuts I don't even know the name of! Old fashioned - great. Maple bar - great. Glazed - delish. Apple fritter - awesome. Only hit or miss items I have tried are the crullers, which sometimes seem underdone - too gooey inside, and the bacon maple bar. Call me crazy, but its just too much bacon. I know that sounds crazy. I LOVE the donuts here. These are just the basic donuts (glazed, maple, cream filled, etc) , not the gourmet-fancy ones. The donuts are light, chewy-fresh and not overly sweet :) They're the best around and they're 24hours. Good donuts ALL the time, how could you go wrong? Well..Ok, the only reason I wouldn't give this place a 5 star is because the service is RIDICULOUS. It's SO bad that I always leave laughing at how ridiculous it is. The family that works here never learned to smile... it's a bit strange. A 24 hour donut chain with locations in Mukilteo, Everett and Monroe. This particular joint in Mukilteo is operated by Vietnamese ppl... Upon entering you'll notice there's a bit of a language barrier. Don't worry, they understand a lot more English than they speak. You can choose to buy single donuts, donuts by the half dozen, or dozen. You can opt for 'mixed' or 'raised' boxes- with mixed meaning half large donuts, half smaller donuts... and raised being all large. All of the donuts hover around a buck thirty a piece, 7 bucks per half dozen, or about a dollar each if you purchase a dozen. Bacon maple bars are extra. I also got a large coffee, which was a 12 oz cup.... The drip was room temp, sour and just tasted awful. They also have a ready made espresso machine with 'cappuccino' and 'latte' buttons I strongly wouldn't recommend... but you get what you pay for since everything is so cheap. The donuts however are very delicious, light and fluffy. I really like the cream filled chocolate ones that are made like pastries.... Not too sweet or filling- perfect for dessert or breakfast. Amazing doughnuts, horrible service. The lady there will be folding boxes (stacks as tall as the ceiling) and will ignore you until she has met her quota. No hi, thank you or have a good day. Not even a smile. Maybe they dont have to because they know their doughnuts are the shit. She once gave me a free one though when I was pregnant- It was a nice gesture. 50 cent charge on a visa for under $5 which I'm pretty sure is against the merchant contract they have with the credit card companies. Yes, that's right an actual 24-hour donut shop where the employees are all nice, don't seem like they want you to get your stuff and get out, there aren't homeless people in there that make the place smell bad. When you are in need of a donut fix and it must be cured, AND you want them to actually taste good, Henry's is the place I live in Everett, there seems to be quite the competition for good donuts. We don't have Krispy Kreme in Everett, and with Henry's I say, " pity the fools the need them". I drove 10 miles, yes,,for donuts. I only wanted a couple for myself. I started making phone calls and ended up getting a dozen. My bff loves lemon filled, so yeah, I gotta wait for those. The staff is sociable, friendly, they know what they are doing. (Be careful if you get the family member that doesn't speak English. Hey, I would love to open a restaurant in Costa Rica,,,so my Spanish is not that good, shoot me then!)
